What does Vasayo do?

Vasayo offers a range of health products to customers for improving sleep, energy and a whole range of different health problems.

It is also an MLM company offering people a chance to make money by selling the products and creating a team or “downline” to also sell the products.

The short video below explains what you can expect from Vasayo.

It’s just as easy to watch in x2 speed if you’re in a hurry!

Vasayo distinguishes itself from other health products by utilising the science of liposomes, which theoretically help our bodies to absorb and digest good nutrients.

Vasayo Products Review- What Does Vasayo Offer?

If you’re interested in buying Vasayo products or getting started with the MLM program it’s pretty important you understand the liposome advantage as this is a huge selling point of the products.

This short video explains how liposomes help…

There are currently 8 products on the market from Vasayo, each offering a slightly different health benefit.

The first price you see below is for the “brand partner” aka part of the MLM program and the second price is the customer price:

  • V-Tox – ($52.95 Brand Partner Price, $64.95 Customer Price) optimise your body’s daily cleansing power
  • Eternal – ($109.95, $125.95) Anti-ageing skin cream
  • Neuro – ($59.95, $67.95) Support healthy brain function like memory, clarity, and focus.
  • V-Slim – ($107.95, $123.95) Help you lose weight by boosting your metabolism and reduce food cravings.
  • MicroLife Sleep – ($54.95, $62.95) Help with sleeping disorders and better sleep overall.
  • V3 – ($57.95, $65.95) This is an energy booster like other energy shots but “healthy for you”.
  • Core Complete – ($64.95, $72.95) This is a superfood vitamin and nutrients mix for overall better health.
  • Renew – ($54.95, $62.95) Provides nutrients and vitamins for overall health but targets joint and cartilage, your immune system, and claims to rejuvenate your body overall.

It’s starting to sound pretty good right? A good range of products and some legit-looking science to make it stand out from the crowded market.

So let’s dig in a bit more to what to expect from the MLM program.

How Does The Vasayo MLM Program Work?

Ok, so any MLM program always takes a little bit of work to figure out exactly what to expect.

Luckily for you, this Vasayo review has done all the legwork for you so it’s all in one place and you’ll understand what to expect in just a few minutes.

The video below is a slightly longer one (just over 12 minutes) but does a good job of giving you an overview.

It’s easy enough to follow on x2 speed again though!

So as the video explains it’s as easy to join as 1, 2, 3:

  1. Enrol for $49.95
  2. Place a product order
  3. Enrol in the Loyalty Convenience Program (optional step)

That sounds easy, right?

But what does this mean in real life monetary terms rather than this PV, CV LCP jargon?

How Much Does it Cost to Join Vasayo?

So the above video is great to understand the concept of the Vasayo MLM program.

But the video below gives you an insiders view on the back-end and is helpful to actually work out how much this costs to join…

This Vasayo review won’t go into detail about what PV, CV and all the other acronyms mean, as we feel they are unnecessary and confusing to start. You can learn all the terms in the Vasayo compensation PDF.

All you need to know is what you need to stay an active member:

  • 80 PV (personal volume) per month to stay active
  • 160 PV allows you to be eligible for all commissions and bonus pools

Instead, this Vasayo review will just use good old fashioned USD so you can be more informed about your decision.

Now remember to join you will need:

  1. Enrol for $49.95
  2. Place a product order (packs range from $239 for CV160- $1,299.95 for CV960)
  3. Enrol in the Loyalty Convenience Program (you will need to do this to ensure you stay active, which costs $110 per month for 80PV or $220 for 160PV)

Total costs= $288.95- $1,349.90 (recommended) & $110 per month ongoing.

I bet you’re wondering what kind of money you can make now, aren’t you?

Vasayo Compensation Plan

There are numerous ways you can earn money from the Vasayo MLM program (8 to be exact). This includes monetary rewards, weekly income and paid for holidays.

The 5-minute video below is more than enough to get you excited about the potential!

It’s important to realise you get 20% commission on every order that a customer makes through you.

That’s a pretty good incentive for you to promote the products, especially if you use and believe in them yourself!

As you can see in the videos so far it’s possible to earn $28,000 a week ($1.4 million a year) just from the weekly “cycles”.

A cycle is achieved when you receive CV240 on “one leg” and CV480 on the “other leg” (this just means from 2 direct referrals that have joined the program through you).

Again let’s look at how much you need to sell in real money terms to achieve one cycle:

  • CV240 = ~$320
  • CV480 = ~$640

So when your “2 legs” generate around $1,000 of product sales you will earn $28.

That’s a lot of health products, legs, CV’s and PV’s you need, isn’t it!

Vasayo Training on Offer

One of the great things about MLM companies is the training and personal development they offer.

Any successful business owner needs to keep learning and improving.

As you can see in the insider video above, you will get lessons on how to stay in contact with your team and how to find new members through social media.

Now, I can almost hear your mind saying…

Is Vasayo a Scam?

No, Vasayo is not a scam.

There are two main ways an online course can be a scam:

  1. Take your money and run off into the sunset, never to be heard from again
  2. Provide some information but it doesn’t live up to their promises

Vasayo makes a real effort in promoting and selling health products and doesn’t over promote the “dream lifestyle” you can live by working at home.

Legit

Just because it’s legit, it doesn’t mean it’s right for you though. The rest of this Vasayo review will help you make an informed decision about whether you should join or not.

Just to be fully transparent with you, I have not purchased this program myself and I do not endorse it in any way.

I have researched the website, testimonials and information on the Internet to get to the bottom of what this program genuinely does. This is because I have been burnt from programs just like this in the past and I want to prevent others from making the same mistakes. Vasayo: The Good

Here are some of the things I like about Vasayo…

Key Terms:

  • Black Hat Methods – Using lies and unethical methods to make someone buy something
  • White Hat Methods – Being honest and genuine to help people make informed decisions about purchases
  • Pyramid Scheme – recruits members via a promise for payment from referring others to the service rather than providing a product
  • Affiliate Marketing- Connecting a customer to a product they are looking for and receiving a commission for doing so
  • Red Flag – A warning sign

#1 Charity Work- Hearts and Hands for Humanity

Possibly the best outcome of the whole Vasayo company.

They provide meaningful support to the hearts and hands for humanity to provide fresh drinking water in Africa.

Whilst this is an extremely valuable cause it’s important to be aware that Vasayo has many YouTube videos and a whole section on their website designated to this.

But even if it is just a marketing tactic, there’s no denying the lives they are impacting.

#2 Founders Have a Good Reputation

Dallin and Karree Larsen have been part of previous MLM programs such as Usana and MonaVie.

Dallin lead MonaVie to a billion-dollar business in the early 2000s and they have a track record of running MLM companies.

There have however been some rumours about MonaVie being part of a pyramid scheme as you will find out later in this Vasayo review.

#3 Clear Focus on Selling the Products- Vasayo is Not a Pyramid Scheme!

The main focus of the website and Vasayo is their products.

This is possibly a lesson that Dallin has learnt the hard way but you can be sure everyone (including the FTC) is sure what the purpose of the business is!

Vasayo Products

Yes, it has been proven they used a PLR to acquire the products in the first place. But this is quite common for MLM companies.

#4 The Compensation Plan is Achievable- Some Online Success Stories

There is proof that some people have had success from Vasayo.

It’s not that easy to find but you can see some legit comments about Vasayo that are not purely promoting the company online…

Vasayo Proof of success

The Gold-rank includes some vacations and you can see the number of members that have achieved this rank at some stage here.

Vasayo: The Not So Good

Here are some of the bad parts of Vasayo that you should be aware of before jumping in…

#1 Expensive Products

I know, I know… the liposomes technology is the reason!

But here’s the truth…

If you offer someone the chance to stop their skin from ageing and you put these options in front of them, what do you think they will go for?

Vasayo products
Vasayo costs $125+
Amazon Products
Amazon costs $12-50

This is the case for every single one of their product.

If people buy into the liposome thing then great. But many will just want to benefit for the cheapest price available.

#2 Liposomes Claims Not Supported

I’m going to make this clear straight away…

I am no liposome expert!

I have just researched this for this Vasayo review.

But it was clear that some people strongly believe in it and some people claim it’s useless/ overhyped.

Here is a comment from a doctor…

online review

Sources from the review above… Vasayo Science, Future Science, National Library of Medicine

Personally I think the technology sounds pretty good but equally, I know that taking a simple BCAA supplement also helps your body to absorb the nutrients you put in it better.

#3 Vasayo Negative Reviews

The Better Business Bureau (BBB) gives Vasayo a rating of B+ and only has 6 complaints in almost 3 years (that’s a pretty good sign).

But there are some common themes that have appeared and it doesn’t seem like Vasayo have sorted this out.

Vasayo Review
Bad batch of products

Misleading Return Policy

review

Many complaints around Vasayo include:

  • Bad batch of products
  • Poor customer service
  • Misleading return policy & not getting their money back

#4 Mixed Feedback About the Products

If you were thinking, ah every company gets the odd complaint from the random person, this one may catch your eye.

Vasayo Review
Vasayo Review

These were only a few reviews selected from similar ones.

Some people seem to love the products but there are some complaints about them irritating, not working, tasting funny or something else.

#5 The Truth About MLM Success Rates

The balance small business has found some pretty eye-opening stats about MLM companies:

  • At least 50% drop out in year 1
  • Over 90% leave within five years
  • Only 3% ever make over $25,000 from MLM companies
Vasayo Compensation

One of the most concerning things was in one of the compensation plan videos above.

In the “ideal” first week for a new MLM member, it claims you could earn $1,086. That means you will be $264 out of pocket (soon to pay another $110).

That’s if you can get 6 people to also join and spend over $$1,300 each!

The fact is, making money from MLM is hard work. If you are prepared to dedicate some serious time and effort to it then it can certainly work.

If you can only put in a few hours a week, it almost certainly will leave a hole in your pocket and a whole heap of health supplements in your house.

#6 The Founders Past Companies Troubles

Whilst it’s pretty clear that Dallin and Karree Larsen have good intentions with their MLM companies there are some things you should be aware of.

MonaVie was a billion-dollar business at one stage but it ended up tangled in some lawsuits and accused of being a pyramid scheme.

The company also defaulted on a $182 million note securing assets of the company.

In their defence business foreclosures often sound worse than they are (did you know Donald Trump has 6 corporate bankruptcies?)

Also, the mistakes made in previous ventures seem to be have helped them set up Vasayo, particularly the focus on selling products.

My Opinion – Vasayo

I believe Vasayo is a legit opportunity for some people.

If you are willing to put in hard work and effort and commit to the business it is possible to make a home business from them.

However, this is not the right opportunity for you if you:

  • Cannot afford to spend a few thousand dollars to get set up
  • Don’t have the time to put into it
  • Don’t want to sell things to your friends and family (or at least be very active on social media aka Facebook)

How to Be Successful With Vasayo

There are some things you will need to do if you want to be successful with Vasayo (or any MLM company):

  1. Work on your mindset
  2. Join the right team
  3. Have a constant flow of new prospects

Don’t just jump in with anybody. Finding the right team is the most important decision you will make for your Vasayo business.

FACT.

Speak to different members and ask questions about how they get new clients or find customers.

Top tip- if you can find them on YouTube or in a Google search they are more likely to be using online marketing well. Therefore they have a constant flow of new prospects, therefore they likely know what they are doing (however, they are not all equal! Some are just in it for themselves and once you’re in the team they ignore you, so make sure you have a face to face chat i.e. Skype call)

Is There An Alternative?

It wasn’t that long ago that I was still trying to figure out how it’s possible for people to make money online.

I wanted to find a passive income system that ticked a few boxes:

  1. I could work on part-time when I wanted (I was still in a full-time job)
  2. Therefore I needed it to not cost a fortune to start and maintain
  3. Didn’t need me to sell stuff to my friends and family

It was in September 2018 that I found Wealthy Affiliate.

In September 2019 I quit my full-time job.

The best thing about it is:

  • It’s free to start
  • Qualified traffic is brought to you for free (just think about how you found this review… there was no money or time spent from me promoting this!)
  • You get me as a personal coach to help you on your journey (and I really enjoy helping people that are starting out, maybe that’s the teacher in me!)
  • You don’t need ANY technical skills to start

When you try out this program you will see why so many people recommend it.

Vasayo Review: The “MakeTimeOnline” Final Word

So there you have it, everything you need to know is in this Vasayo review.

That ended up being much more epic than I thought, but I really enjoyed learning about this company!

To sum it up…

It’s legit, you will get some training but your team that you join will really matter for your success.

The odds are always stacked against you in MLM companies, but if you’re willing to work hard it can certainly work for you.

Keep changing for the better,

Mike

    Drew DuBoff Podcast

You have probably heard of the 4 Hour Work Week before.

Some people claim this is just a pipedream. In fact, not only is it possible but by offering your services as a freelancer with skills you already have, you may be much closer than you realise.

This podcast will show you how a 21-year-old has set up an online business that only requires 10 hours of work a week… to earn $50k+ a year.

In this podcast with Drew DuBoff we chat about:

    • What exact rate you should charge clients when you are starting.
    • How and where you can find people that are desperate for your help.
    • The dream package for a freelancer, and how you can get this.
    • Why Drew wishes he listened more carefully to his college teacher.

If you’re like me, you probably can’t wait to hear about this!

    Drew DuBoff Background

Drew is still a spring chicken.

The difference between him and most 21-year-olds you will meet is this…

He will never need to get a “real job” because he has already found a way to make serious money online.

By checking emails and managing social media groups he has created an income of over $50k a year… and he only works 10 hours a week!

So how has he found these clients that are willing to pay him for this?

    No Cold Outreach

This is a great point that Drew made…

Get to know the people before reaching out to them.

Drew has done a few things to put his name on the map:

    • Being active on Facebook blogging groups
    • Buying courses that help his online blogging knowledge
    • Contacting the owners of the courses with questions and thanking them
    • Willing to help them out with a problem they have… for free initially!

Do you notice that they are all easy to do?

But they are also easy not to do.

The difference is Drew did them!

    Freelance Retainer Package is Key

This is the golden key to freelancing.

It is possible to charge a flat fee per month rather than an hourly rate. Some of the benefits of this are:

    • No need to track hours to bill clients
    • Get paid on the same day every month
    • Helps with cash flow & financial statements
    • Charged by results rather than the time you put in (you are not always trading your time for money)
    • You are in control

This means that you know exactly what your income is going to be each month and makes it very easy for you to know exactly what is expected of you.

Now, I can almost hear your mind saying…

How Long Will it Take to do a Task?

    Let’s just use an example:

    Facebook group management.

The main job is to approve or deny requests and also ensure you help engagement in the group i.e. join in discussions.

The best way to know how long it will take is to watch how much is going on each day in that group.

For example, how many new subscribers join each day/ week and how many comments appear every day.

You can use this as a rough estimate to judge how much time will be needed accordingly.

But it won’t be until you try it out that you will be able to know exactly how much time you are putting in.

    Example Rates to Charge

Drew breaks down a real example.

If you’re like me, then this will be super helpful and really open your eyes.

    Drew DuBoff Podcast

His example is to charge $1,000 per month to manage someone’s FB group and email.

    • Facebook groups- check once per day to approve people (~10 mins a day= 1 hour per week = 4 hours per month)
    • Email- 30 mins a day = 4 hours per week = no more than 20 hours per month

Therefore, to manage someone’s email and Facebook group you can get paid $1,000 per month for less than 25 hours a month AKA 6 hours a week.

That works out around $40 per hour!

Have you noticed the key is that you don’t offer your services for $40 an hour though?!

    Related content:

What Could You be a VA for?

Just think about what you enjoy doing the most or something that you are naturally good at.

    For example:

    • Do you have an inbox with 0 emails unopened?
    • Do you spend a lot of time on Facebook?
    • Are you good at writing?
    • Or do spelling errors stand out to you like a white man in China?
    • Do you understand Clickfunnels or CRM?
    • Do you have a great funnel in your business in a certain niche?
    • Maybe you can write amazing quizzes.

As you can see the options are endless.

The key is to pick something and give it go.

If you become really good at something then marketing yourself will become much easier. In fact, you’ll end up at a point where you have to turn work away.

Figuring Out Your Starting Rate… With ACTUAL Numbers!

I really rated Drews answer to this.

    No fluff.

    Just real useable numbers.

Start at a $25 hourly rate.

Drew said he got lucky because his first client gave him a number and he based all of the future clients off this number.

Without a doubt, the first one will be the hardest as you will need to figure out how long things do actually take you.

But use the example above to guestimate how many hours a job will take. Then you offer a rate of $25 an hour.

If this can be a monthly retainer then even better!

Make sure you reassess after your first month to see how many hours it actually takes.

Not sure how to do this?

No worries, Drew has you covered…

    Best Tools

If you’re like me you always love these tips.

Anything that saves time = good (in my eyes)

    • Track time with toggl.com
    • Trello, Slack or Asana- project management software to keep conversations in one place- clear deadlines and who is responsible for what.
    • Autoresponder- send automated emails so the readers don’t even know (Drew uses ConvertKit… which I also highly recommend)
    • Calendly- scheduling app links to Zoom (to make calls) & links to payment
    • Gutenburg on WordPress- Free atomic blocks plug in to build landing pages- you can redirect to a questionnaire to automate the process
    Track Time- Sand Timer

Automating allows you to go away for a weekend or go on vacation.

Let me ask you this… would you be willing to do VA work if you can just work an hour a day anywhere in the world? Find out more tips to Save Hours of Time & Money with these Resources

    Drews Tips to Start

Create a “hire me” page on your website (if you have one).

Drop this link on your Facebook profile (and other social media platforms you use).

Find your ideal clients by finding out where they hang out i.e. use Facebook, Twitter, Reddit etc.

Drew’s opinion- avoid boards such as Fiverr, Freelancer or Upwork (there are scammers on there and it’ll take a lot of work to find the right clients). Typically freelancers undercut themselves. *He does know some people that do have success on these platforms though!

Top 3 Tips if Drew DuBoff Could go Back in Time

If Drew could go back to his class with his social media marketing teacher, he would give himself these 3 pieces of advice.

    1. Get started… do it sooner!
    2. Ask for help sooner (you don’t know it all)
    3. Believe in yourself.

Drew was very honest here and admits how hard an online business can be.

But he also shares some of the best parts about starting an online business (*cough earning $25,000 in the last 6 months* cough cough)

    • Why Scrivs is very grateful for his wife (…no he didn’t cry!)
    • What Scrivs would say to himself if he could go back in time

This is part 2. You can check out “the worst mistake new bloggers make” for part 1.

There are 2 Types of Online Entrepreneurs

Scrivs splits his audience into 2 different people.

    1. Bloggers
    2. 6-7 figure business owners

Let’s dig into what the difference is…

Bloggers- Just Want a Side Income

There are some people that really just want to make an extra $1,000 or so every month.

Sometimes these people just want to write and would be extremely happy if it made a bit of income on the side.

A key focus here is to write content that is suited to Pinterest. You can learn more about why this is the case in “how to use Pinterest for beginners”.

They may want it to become a full-time business in the future, but usually, they have a different mindset to the 6-7 figure business owners…

    6-7 Figure Business’s AKA 1,000 True Fans

There is really only one simple question to ask yourself…

What transformation are you going to deliver?

Can you create a product that gets people from point A to point B?

You probably have noticed that when you look at everything you need to do for an online business in one go… it seems pretty overwhelming!

This is why Scrivs recommends that you don’t focus on everything at once… just do one thing at a time.

    Slow and steady amigo.

    Mindset

Here’s a way to help you keep it simple:

    • It only takes one blog post that connects with someone for them to join your email list
    • It only takes one email sequence that provides value for them to trust you
    • When someone trusts you they are much more likely to buy something from you

Can you see the importance of building trust and authority?

Your reader is now more likely to want to see what your course can provide.

This is the secret to getting 1,000 true fans.

    And 1,000 true fans that pay you $100 a year = $100,000 (a 6 figure business).

    Simple right?

    Scrivs Working Habits

So how does the guy that has 20+ courses and so many niche websites keep on top of everything?

His habits and the life he has created certainly helps:

    • He batches content (he’ll often write a lot in one day then do no writing the day after)
    • This month Scrivs has written: 80,000 words in 20 posts, 17 emails and 3 video scripts.
    • He has a list of keywords ready to write about
    • Family members help out with work they enjoy doing
    • Write like you talk- don’t edit yourself when you write (try to entertain as you educate)

    One other thing…

Scrivs has found that a subscription model and evergreen courses make things easier for cash flow. (It doesn’t mean it’s easy to do though!)

    2. Set time aside to actually do the work (i.e. set a schedule and wake up early)
    3. Communicate more with your wife early on

Paul Scrivens from Dare to Conquer

You probably know the feeling of trying to make money from a blog.

Many people think it’s super hard and you’ll have to come up with a great idea to earn a cent. In fact, it doesn’t have to be this way.

This podcast with Paul Scrivens from Dare to Conquer will show you the worst mistake that new bloggers make…

And what you can do to fix it.

      Scrivs and I chat about:

      • How he started working in the “online world”
      • Why one of his websites went from 0 to over 1 million page views every month (in under 2 years)
      • The 2 mindset hurdles every entrepreneur has to overcome
      • What you can do if you’re not an “expert”

This is another 2 part podcast, with more on how to start a 6-7 figure online business next week.

      Paul Scrivens Background

Scrivs first job was a headhunter (aka helping other people find jobs… “recruitment consultant” if you’re from the UK).

But there was a big issue with this…

He hated working on the phone.

So doing what any normal person would do in this situation he lied to his boss…

“Hey, I can build websites for you”

He had no idea how to… so he had to figure out how to do that in a day!

This was Scrivs path into blogging.

And the rest is history as they say…

      Sort of!

As you listen in to the podcast you’ll hear how Paul Scrivens:

      • Was vagabonding for a while
      • Had to get a “real job” when he met his now-wife
      • He bounced between a few random jobs but…
      • He always hated working for someone else
      • How he created a course on web design to make $20k in a weekend

But he still had no idea why certain things worked and others didn’t.

      Eventually, this led to…

Thrive/Strive- From 1,800 pageviews in 3 Months to 1 Million Pageviews in One Month

Scrivs started the health and fitness website with his brother and wife.

After 20 months, Thrive/Strive was receiving 1 million pageviews each month.

But it wasn’t always that way…

The Worst Mistake From a New Blogger

There is one big mistake many online entrepreneurs make.

It is the one reason why many people fail or waste so much time:

You try to create something brand new.

Many people put off starting or fail because of this one mistake.

Everything that works (aka makes money online) has already been done.

You can copy the idea or model that someone else has done.

Obviously don’t completely copy it, you put your own spin on it.

But if you can show people how to lose weight in one month, people will pay you for the information.

      Weight Loss

      Is it new?

      No.

      Does it work?

      Yes.

      Mindset & Initial Steps

      Scrivs explains this…

You have to understand it is a process.

You will not start making crazy money after a day… or a week… or a month.

The success stories you hear don’t always explain the struggle or failures these people had on the way.

You’re going to have to do these 2 things before you get anywhere:

      • Overcome your own self-doubt
      • Then overcome the self-doubt of your friends and family

The best way to do that is to start taking action.

How to Get Free Traffic to Your Website

The platform that opened Scrivs’ eyes to how to get free traffic quickly was of course…

      Pinterest.

It has been proven by so many successful bloggers that it’s hard to ignore the power of Pinterest to get free traffic quickly.

Alex Nerney Create and Go podcast

You probably agree that creating a blog is really creating an online business.

Some people don’t look at it this way as it seems too daunting.

Alex Nerney from Create and Go is on the podcast today to chat about:

        • The worst mistakes bloggers make
        • How Alex chipped his tooth by travelling at over 75 kph on a volcano
        • How he always knows exactly what the right thing to do for his business is
        • The pieces of advice he would give himself if he could go back in time

This is part 2 of the chat. If you’d like to hear how he created a 6 figure blog within one year then check out part 1 here.

#1 Fall for The Shiny Object Syndrome!

If you are like me, then you certainly know how this shiny object syndrome may feel!

There is so much on the Internet that it’s impossible to avoid the next best thing since sliced bread.

        But there is a solution!

Alex read a book explaining how Warren Buffet and Bill Gates were in an interview.

They were asked a simple question…

“What is the number one reason that you had success?”

After 3 they both had to answer.

        They hadn’t discussed it.

And do you know what they said?

        Focus.

It’s easy to dip in a take a bit of information from a lot of people.

        Focus

        But few people focus.

Few people become a “disciple” to one person (or a team). If you can do this you increase your chances of success tremendously!

#2 Not Becoming an Expert in One Thing

It’s very easy to want to talk about everything that you are interested in.

The issue with this online is that you confuse… everyone!

Including Google and all the fancy algorithms.

The way blogging is moving is for people to become an expert in one singular thing.

A simple statement you can answer to work this out is…

        I help “BLANK” to “BLANK”.

i.e. I help women to lose weight by using the Keto diet.

        #3 The Wrong Mindset

“Here’s what to do” is important.

        But so is the mindset.

In fact, it’s probably more important.

        Mindset

You can get the “what to do” from so many different people (remember it’s better to just pick one though). Implementing it day in day out is much harder.

Make sure you feed positive thoughts into your mind each day.

        Related content:

Top 3 Tips For Himself If Alex Could Go Back in Time

The answer to this question always amazes me.

You can get some real pieces of wisdom and Alex did not fail to deliver.

        1. Narrow in on your target audience (solve one problem in other people’s lives)
        2. Trust yourself
        3. You’re going to make it

Imagine your future successful self speaking to you right now.

How reassuring would it be if they could tell you these 3 things?

        Best Experiences Since Blogging

Alex and Lauren have had some great experiences since they started.

This is often the big “why” for many people starting in the online world.

Here are some of Alex’s favourites:

        1. Waking up when he wants and drinking his coffee in peace
        2. Buying organic food!
        3. Travelling at 75 kph volcano-boarding in Nicaragua
        4. Machu Pichu in Peru
        5. Authentic experiences in unique cultures (Portugal, Cusco in Peru etc.)

Do you see how living life on his own terms is far more important than living a fancy flashy life?

        Create and Go’s Mission

To provide all the steps to help people make money online.

Alex wants to help people live their life on their own terms. He’s not so fussed about making people millionaires.

If you have a blog that is already generating traffic and you’re making some money from it then you may be interested in checking out Create and Go’s “Six-Figure Blogger” course.

This course is perfect if you’re looking to create your first product and automating the sales process.

There are 8 people that are now 6 figure bloggers that have taken this course!

Alex Nerney From Create and Go- 6 Figure Bloggers Summary

Here are my 5 takeaways from this chat with Alex:

        1. No one cares about your fancy ideas (find what people are looking for already)
        2. Solve one problem… really well
        3. Focus. Use one training program from one “guru” until you achieve what you want
        4. Pinterest is just a tool to get traffic. If it disappears there’s always another one
        5. Track data (what posts get the most traffic, what opt-ins get the highest conversions, what emails get read the most?)

        • It’s possible to find legit opportunities to make money

        Cons

        • You WON’T make as much money as the spammy sales video suggests
        • You can find most of this information for free
        • There are too many black hat sales methods used
        • Content is outdated
        • There are more upsells

        What does VO Genesis do?

Vo Genesis claims to help you to become a professional voice over artist and get paid to work from home.

        VO Genesis Review

The video explains a lot of the benefits you can receive from this “secret to making money”.

I won’t go too much in detail about the sales video as you can watch it here.

        Now more importantly…

        What’s Inside VO Genesis?

There are a bunch of “training videos” and PDFs for you to to get started as a voice-over artist.

I found an insider video on YouTube so you can see exactly what is inside the training…

(You only need to watch from 3 mins to 6 mins 15 seconds.)

As you can see, the videos are really just text with someone being a voice-over!

There are plenty of resources thrown at you inside but I can almost hear your mind saying…

        Is VO Genesis a Scam?

There are two main ways an online course can be a scam:

        1. Take your money and run off into the sunset, never to be heard from again
        2. Provide some information but it doesn’t live up to their promises

VO Genesis clearly provides some training.

Therefore, it’s not a type 1 scam where you pay money and never receive anything.

But does it really live up to the promises it makes of helping you achieve thousands of dollars an hour?

Continue reading this VO Genesis review to find out…

Just to be fully transparent with you, I have not purchased this program myself so I will stop short of calling it a scam outright.

I have researched the website, testimonials and information on the Internet to get to the bottom of what this program genuinely does. This is because I have been burnt from programs just like this in the past and I want to prevent others from making the same mistakes. VO Genesis: The Good

Here are some of the things I like about VO Genesis…

        Key Terms:

        • Black Hat Methods – Using lies and unethical methods to make someone buy something
        • White Hat Methods – Being honest and genuine to help people make informed decisions about purchases
        • Affiliate Marketing- Connecting a customer to a product they are looking for and receiving a commission for doing so

#1 Provide Some Good Voice Over Training

You can learn exactly what is expected of you as a voice-over artist.

You will find some valuable information about:

        • How to set up a cheap home studio
        • The best way to record and edit your voice-overs
        • The basic fundamentals of voice-over jobs
        VO Genesis Training

There is some genuinely helpful content here for someone that knows nothing about being paid for a voice-over artist.

        #2 How to Brand Yourself

There is also some information in here about how you can grow and scale your home-based business.

        VO Genesis Review

There are some little nuggets of information in here that can help you find the right gigs that suit you and how to put yourself on the radar.

#3 Possible to Find Legit Opportunities

There is also a bonus PDF that has some information about how to get loads of voice-over opportunities.

As you keep reading this VO Genesis review, you will realise it may not be quite as good as first thought.

        VO Genesis: The Bad

So the part you’ve been waiting for…

The not so good and red flags of VO Genesis…

        #1 Upsells & Downsells

First of all the price says VO Genesis is $97. However, it’s possible to get it for $39.95 and some people claim they’ve bought it for cheaper (although this down-sell seems to have been removed now)

Here are some of the prices you could pay:

        • Frontend (VO Genesis) – $39.95- It used to be possible to get it for $19.95 if you try to exit the page
        • One Time Offer 1 (Voiceover Insider’s Guides) – $37.00
        • OTO 2 (Multiple Streams Of Income) – $47.00
        • OTO 3 (Quick Cash Machines) – $47.00
        VO Genesis Review

These upsells are not mentioned at all before you purchase VO Genesis.

So you may spend $39.95 only to realise you need to spend an extra $131 just to get the information promised.

        …Not a good sign amigo!

#2 The Actual Amount Voice Over Artists Get Paid

The sales video makes it very clear you can expect to receive thousands of dollars an hour.

Here is the current screenshot of voice-over opportunities on Freelancer

        Voice Over Opportunities

There are a few things to note here:

        • The highest number on the screen is $250
        • Most jobs will take you more than an hour to complete (i.e. transcribe 81 pages for $30)
        • There are between 7-31 bids for each position posted already, so you will need to compete with others

This doesn’t look like a thousand dollar an hour kind of job at the start, that’s for sure!

        #3 Black Hat Sales Video

The sales video hardly touches on what you will actually be doing.

It just makes references to how much you can earn.

Plus it pulls on your emotions, such as spending time with your kids, to make you feel like this could solve a problem.

These are big warning signs about any program. If the sales video concentrates more on what you can recieve rather than what you need to do then chances are something is a bit fishy!

        #4 Outdated Content

As you can see in the video at the top of the page… all the content seems to have been made in 2013!

This may have been great then, but the online world changes rapidly. Therefore, so should the training.

I even found a review that said VO Genesis recommends some websites that don’t even exist anymore!

#5 The Info Provided Can be Found for Free

On top of all of this, everything can be found online for free.

With one YouTube search (literally one!!) I found this video.

Earl has a completely free training program where you could learn so much of this (be aware there’s a good chance he’ll try to sell something later on… but this is not a review on Earl!)

Plus there were loads of tips on YouTube so this should be the first place you go if you are serious about starting a Voice Over business.

        Related content:

        My Opinion- VO Genesis

After this brutally honest review, I guess you are thinking I am going to say… don’t bother with it.

        Well, you’d be right.

        But…

There’s one thing I would like to mention.

If you have the money and are time poor, you could learn a lot of the basics that would take you some time to figure out yourself.

If you are interested in making money as a voice-over artist then VO Genesis will put you on the right track to do so.

Is this a great program… no

Will it make you thousands of dollars an hour… certainly not any time soon

But if you want to make a few hundred dollars a month as a side hustle for reading stuff out, VO Genesis can help you.

        My Recommendation

If you are interested in making some quick cash without too much effort, there is one way anyone can do this…

        Survey sites.

        Is it fun… not particularly.

Can it make you $200+ per month… yes, if you set things up well.

It wasn’t that long ago that I was still trying to figure out how people make money online.

It was in September 2018 that I found Wealthy Affiliate.

And in September 2019 I quit my full-time job.

The best thing about it is:

        • It’s free to start
        • Customers are brought to you that are already interested (just think about how you found this review… there was no money or time spent from me promoting this!)
        • You get access to a great community on online marketers (and me as a personal coach to help you on your journey)

When you try out this program you will see why so many people recommend it.

It’s not an outright scam, but it certainly is no “secret way to make $1,500 an hour at home”.

What does My Ecom Club do?

My Ecom Club promises to show you exactly how to set up your own dropshipping online business.

The owner (supposedly Rocky Lin) claims to have put together a step-by-step training program so that even a complete beginner can start a profitable e-commerce business.

It also offers support and “ready to go” websites.

If you’re like me then you probably want to know what e-commerce and dropshipping actually entails before diving in.

          What is Dropshipping?

I found this short video on YouTube, which explains what dropshipping is.

(You only need to watch until you are 2 and a half minutes in)

Simply put, an e-commerce store is an online business where you sell physical items from one supplier to a customer.

Dropshipping has become particularly appealing as you will never need to order a load of stock.

You simply wait until a customer buys a product through your website.

Then you place an order with a supplier and send it directly to the customer.

Typically, the customer will purchase it from you for a “retail price” and you buy it for “wholesale price”. Then you pocket the difference.

          Sounds simple right?

So let’s dig into this program a bit more…

          What’s Inside My Ecom Club?

You can join for free to see the inside of My Ecom Club.

My Ecom Club comes with 6 training modules:

          1. Overview of the concept of Dropshipping
          2. How to select your niche & products
          3. The right mindset you need to have
          4. How to find the best supplier using AliExpress
          5. Setting up your Shopify store with Oberlo
          6. Optimizing your store and getting traffic

As you can see, it will help you go from someone with no knowledge of dropshipping to understand the basics of how to organise your store.

So it really does seem pretty legit right?

Now, I can almost hear your mind saying…

Is My Ecom Club a Scam?

          Technically no…

But as you continue to read this My Ecom Club review you will realise it’s maybe not all it’s cracked up to be.

There are two main ways an online course can be a scam:

          1. Take your money and run off into the sunset, never to be heard from again
          2. Provide some information but it doesn’t live up to their promises

Obviously My Ecom Club does provide you with some training. But it may not be exactly what you thought at first…

My Ecom Club: The Good

Here are some of the things I like about My Ecom Club…

          Key Terms:

          • Black Hat Methods – Using lies and unethical methods to make someone buy something
          • White Hat Methods – Being honest and genuine to help people make informed decisions about purchases
          • Affiliate Marketing- Connecting a customer to a product they are looking for and receiving a commission for doing so
          • Red Flag – A warning sign

          #1 Training Useful for Beginners

If you have no idea about how to start a dropshipping business then you probably will find some useful things inside.

          My Ecom Club Training

My Ecom Club will show you the basics of how to set up your own store.

But you’re going to have to fork out a bit more money to get the coach and “ready to go” Ecom store, as you are about to find out.

#2 Legit Strategy to Make Money

Dropshipping and e-commerce is a completely legit business model.

They are not selling you a pipe dream or made-up way of making money.

In fact, you can listen to my chat with Jeremy Ong on how he set up a 5 figure a month Ecom store.

This also includes why he is now moving to an affiliate marketing business model.

          #3 30-Day Refund Policy

There is a refund policy in place.

However, as you can see from the review below from the BBB, they may not always honour this…

The policy is great as it proves they are confident in their training.

But the complaints are not as you’re about to learn more about in this My Ecom Club review! Just something to be aware of…

My Ecom Club: The Bad & Red Flags

Here are some of the bad parts of My Ecom Club that you should be aware of before joining.

#1 BBB Negative Reviews & Current Alert

The Better Business Bureau is a great way to check out if a company is legit.

The biggest red flag here is that there is a current alert for this business…

          My Ecom Club BBB
          My Ecom Club Review
          My Ecom Club Review

It’s also clear to see that customers are not happy due to not receiving the support they were promised.

There are many claims of people being harassed by their sales teams and not getting the ready to go stores that they claimed.

#2 Fake Testimonials & Success Stories

This is another big red flag. If a company cannot get any real people leaving positive reviews or proof of success it’s a big concern.

          My Ecom Club Review
          My Ecom Club Review

It becomes even more concerning when they use free stock images off of the internet to fake the “success stories”.

This is strike two, but it’s about to get worse…

#3 Upsells & The Real Cost

Here is the real goal of My Ecom Club…

To get you to buy the high ticket upsells:

          Upsell 1. Add a Coach ($37)

As soon as you have created your free account you will be bombarded with sales videos about why a coach is so important.

Support and 1-1 coaching is definitely super valuable in any business, but as you’ve already seen from real reviews, they do not deliver.

          My Ecom Club Price

Upsell 2. Ready to go Ecom Store ($1,997 + $97 month)

This upsell is where they really want people to come to.

          They promise:

          • 2 Shopify stores set up for you
          • 100 top-selling products in the niche of your choice
          • Written descriptions for these 100 items
          • Theme and Logo ready
          • Traffic generation training

If this actually worked and they provided what they say then this may actually be pretty decent.

However, from checking online forums, BBB and other reviews it’s clear to see they simply don’t deliver this.

You may get 2 stores done for you but you won’t have the support or traffic going to the website to make you any money.

The Facebook Ads training will mean you need to factor in another few hundred dollars each month, and this is becoming so competitive that only the best Facebook ads are effective anymore.

So it’s really not free.. you will need to pay $1,997 to get your ready to go stores plus $97 a month for support and $200+ a month for Facebook ads.

          #4 Blackhat Sales Tactics

They claim you will get access to a FREE training program.

But straight away it shows you the real cost is $37!

I’m not sure if they are just lazy or being really stupid but this is another red flag for any online course.

#5 The Real Owner is Linked to Scams

Supposedly the owner is Ricky Lim. However, no information exists about him on the internet.

The real owner is quite clearly Teo Vee as you can see on Twitter (and YouTube channels).

It’s no surprise they try to hide this fact due to other scams Teo Vee has been linked to such as Social Stinger & Ecom Cash Code.

          ecom cash code review

If this is not a red flag about this program not being legit and honest them I’m not sure what is.

My Opinion – My Ecom Club

          Here’s the truth…

You can find out all of this information for free on YouTube…

This is just a quick 20-minute video which will give the knowledge you need to start a dropshipping company.

The huge upsells don’t deliver and to be honest this program really does appear to be a scam, even though it has some basic training.

In my own opinion, dropshipping is more of an active income. Yes, it’s possible to make some great money, but if you are looking for passive income online this is not the best strategy.

Don’t take my word for it, listen to a guy who has a 5 figure a month dropshipping business and is now moving into affiliate marketing exactly for this reason.

            • Why nobody cares about your ideas.
            • The worst mistakes bloggers make on Pinterest.

Alex’s Journey From Earning $0 After Quitting a Job to Making Over $100k/ Month

Alex was a personal trainer waking up at 5 am every day to train his clients.

He bounced around for a long time trying out different things.

But he knew there was another way to live life.

It wasn’t until going to a Fastlane Meetup that he actually realised this “Internet lifestyle” was a real thing.

After taking the plunge in December 2015 and “going all in” Alex and Lauren starting making their first bit of income from their health and fitness website Avocadu.

            Related content:

            What Did Avocadu Do?

            Simply put…

They started making money from affiliate sales, then quickly made their own products to increase their profit.

It wasn’t down to luck though.

They put out loads of great content, but more importantly…

            They tracked data… a lot!

So what data did they actually measure?

            Data collection

            Here’s the rundown:

            1. What are the highest-traffic articles
            2. The best converting opt-in pages on these sites (using Thrive Leads)
            3. What emails their readers liked the most (using ConvertKit)
            4. Create a course to replace their affiliate sales (find the best online course platforms here)

Once they figured this out, they produced more of these.

As you can see it’s pretty simple when it’s laid out like this.

If you could take one thing away from this podcast it is this:

Find out what your audience is responding to… this will show you what to do next.

            Noone Cares About Your Ideas!

            Just look at the data.

            Respond to it.

You don’t need to come up with some new invention or something groundbreaking. In fact, it’s recommended that you don’t.

            Sounds simple, doesn’t it?

But how do you get traffic in the first place to track data?

Pinterest (or any Tool) = Traffic

You may hear that Pinterest is the best way to get traffic.

At the end of 2019, this is still true for many niches.

Alex explains that Pinterest is full of “private people” that like reading. Hence, it’s great for blog traffic!

            Pinterest

The thing is Pinterest is not the ONLY way to get traffic. There will always be the next “Pinterest” if it were to disappear.

So how dis they get traffic?

Alex and Lauren really analysed one Pinterest’s content.

            They found:

            • People linking to bad articles
            • Pins that were not beautiful
            • Bad titles that didn’t get clicked

By fixing these 3 mistakes, Avocadu was able to stand out.

            Related content:

            Common Pinterest Mistakes

First of all, Pinterest HAS CHANGED!!

It’s a different thing to what it was in 2015.

Here are some of the common mistakes that people still make:

            • Deleting pins
            • Try to game the system

Pinterest’s algorithm has changed to stop a lot of old tactics being effective.

It takes good content and consistency to get traffic from Pinterest.

You probably agree that creating ebooks or bonus products takes quite a lot of time.

Many people think they have to put in hours of effort to create an ebook or additional product to complement their website. However, it is actually possible to buy certain the Private Label Rights (PLR) of certain products that are already made.

This IDplr review will reveal the good and bad parts of using the program.

IDplr Review- The Overview and Rankings

            Pros and Cons

            Pros

            • You can actually get ready-made products that you are able to use.
            • It’s possible to use IDplr products as freebies to grow your email list.

            Cons

            • The support is non-existent.
            • The website has many technical issues.
            • You can’t do everything IDplr claims you can do with their products.
            • There are misleading promises that you will receive from IDplr.

            What does IDplr do?

First of all, let’s define private label rights:

A license where the author sells the intellectual property (includes patents or copywriting etc.) rights of their work.

So basically, IDplr is a place where people can supposedly sell their intellectual property i.e. ebooks, software, graphics or written content etc.

This means it’s also a place where anyone can purchase this intellectual property to use themselves.

It’s pretty much an intermediary between people that like writing content, but don’t want to market it themselves and people that are looking for content to market.

What Do You Actually Get With IDplr?

            Loads of stuff!!

            idplr review

So in addition to the thousands of PLR content you get, you can also supposedly get a landing page creator, website hosting and more!

It all sounds a bit too good to be true right?

Now, I can almost hear your mind saying…

            Is IDplr a Scam?

This is a tricky one to say exactly.

First of all, it’s important to note that PLR is completely legit. People sell their intellectual property and other people buy it.

            This is fine.

            But is IDplr?

There are two main ways an online course can be a scam:

            1. Take your money and run off into the sunset, never to be heard from again
            2. Provide some information but it doesn’t live up to their promises

IDplr does provide you with thousands of PLR opportunities.

But as you’re about to find out in this IDplr review, they do not always live up to their promises.

Just to be fully transparent with you, I have not purchased this program myself and therefore I will stop short of calling this an outright scam.

I have researched the website, testimonials and information on the Internet to get to the bottom of what this program genuinely does. This is because I have been burnt from programs just like this in the past and I want to prevent others from making the same mistakes. IDplr: The Good

Here are some of the things I like about IDplr…

            Key Terms:

            • Black Hat Methods – Using lies and unethical methods to make someone buy something
            • White Hat Methods – Being honest and genuine to help people make informed decisions about purchases
            • Affiliate Marketing- Connecting a customer to a product they are looking for and receiving a commission for doing so

            #1 Thousands of PLR Content

Yes, IDplr does genuinely provide you with thousands of PLR content you can download.

In fact, you can try 2 products out for free before paying a penny.

If you are looking for a quick freebie to grow your email list, then IDplr may just be what you are looking for…

#2 Make Quick Freebies to Grow Your List

This is probably the best way you can use IDplr.

Each product has a list of what you can do with it and what you are not allowed to do with it.

Every product that I checked allowed you to grow your email list with it.

However, there are some things it’s important to be aware of before diving in…

            IDplr: The Bad

This section of this IDplr review will show you some of the bad parts of IDplr.

            #1 Technical Issues

There are numerous reports on the internet of people struggling to use certain features of IDplr.

One part I personally struggled with was trying to upload an ebook to IDplr.

As I already have some freebie ebooks and content I figured I would see what the process was like for uploading something to the website.

However, I was met with this…

As you can see you need to check the Captcha box (pretty common these days) but the box was missing.

Therefore, it was impossible to submit anything to the website.

            #2 Unrealistic Bonuses

I genuinely thought the price for getting a load of PLR content wasn’t bad.

But when I saw the bonuses they chucked at you it started ringing the alarm bells pretty loud…

For $89 (you have to upgrade to lifetime access to receive this) you get free website hosting, a landing page builder, an ebook cover creator and loads more. Of course, you also get thousands of PLR content.

The thing is, the cheapest website hosting I’ve ever seen is with Bluehost for about $70 PER YEAR!

The hosting was with Bitreveal who’s pricing starts from $29 per month (which is much more believable)…

This led me onto asking if the $89 was for lifetime access like they claim or an additional $29 per month as Bitreveal (the hosting site) claims…

            #3 No Support

So I sent an email on 13th September…

            idplr support

I am yet to hear anything back!

This is a major red flag. If you can’t even get in contact with them when you are thinking about giving them money, how likely do you think you will receive support when you are a customer?

I’ve just sent another one-off (today is the 24th September, as you can see in the next point)…

            #4 Black Hat Sales Tactics

These sales tactics are always a big red flag about a company.

            idplr review

The deal is not only valid for 48 hours as I received the same message when I logged in last time on the 13th of September.

Are you beginning to see it may not quite be what we thought it was at the start?

#5 What Can You Even Use PLR For?

Hobo-web shows that Google penalises your website if you use duplicate content from another website.

Therefore, there is no way you can use any of the PLR documents on your website as someone else has almost certainly done this.

The only thing you can realistically use the PLR content for is as freebies to grow your email list or try to sell them.

The claims of using it to grow a website are totally unrealistic.

            This leads onto…

            #6 Old and Outdated Content

            The content is super outdated.

            idplr review

It seems like everything available was last updated mid-2017.

This might be something to do with the fact that people can’t upload PLR content onto the website (remember point #1?)

            #7 Poor Quality Content

I checked out some of the content (you get 2 for free).

To start with it looks like there may be some good stuff included.

But when you actually dive into the content, it’s so average.

The whole section on Hatha Yoga in the ebook

Both pieces I tried out looks like a 12-year-old has done some Wikipedia research and put together a mishmash of basic information that doesn’t really help.

            My Opinion – IDplr

            Don’t bother with it.

If you really want to get a couple of pieces of content then just use the free account. I guess you could even just use another email address and get a couple more if you really want.

When you take into account the non-existent support, outdated content and technical faults of the website it’s really not worth spending a penny here.

The claims of building your own website for $89 are totally unrealistic and unachievable from IDplr.

An Evergreen Strategy That Brings You The Money

It wasn’t that long ago that I was still trying to figure out how some people build their own online business.

I wanted to find a passive income online business that hit a few criteria:

            1. I could work on when I wanted (I was still in a full-time job)
            2. Didn’t cost a fortune to start and maintain
            3. Didn’t need me to sell stuff to my friends and family

It was in September 2018 that I found Wealthy Affiliate, which I still use today to build my online business.

Towards the end of 2019 that I quit my full-time job.

The best thing about it is:

            • It’s free to start
            • Customers are brought to you that are already interested (just think about how you found this review… there was no money or time spent from me promoting this!)
            • You get access to an amazing community of online entrepreneurs (and me as a personal coach to help you on your journey)

When you try out this program you will see why so many people recommend it.

No credit card details required- It genuinely is free to start

IDplr Review: The “MakeTimeOnline” Final Word

To sum up this IDplr review, it’s not worth your money.

If you have multiple websites and are just looking for some freebie content to offer to build your email list it may be worth checking it out. If not, don’t waste your time on it.

There are too many issues with the website and a lot of the content is outdated and low quality.

            Keep changing for the better,

            Mike
