Coursera offers different kinds of courses for different niches and areas. These are further broken down into six categories which I managed to describe in the simplest way possible below.

These are full degree program courses delivered in a digital and online manner. They can be compared to degree courses from physical colleges.

The cost to join Coursera depends on the type of course and category you’ll choose. It’s generally affordable if you go for the short courses and less-specialized areas. However, expect to spend loads of money just like if you were to enrol in a brick and mortar college

No. Coursera is not a scam.

Coursera is completely legit and is not a scam. The company was launched by two Stanford professors back in 2012. The platform has over 47 million registered users, and the organisation underpinning it employs around 300 staff.

Top universities involved with Coursera include Yale, Northwestern and the University of London. Increasingly, large companies are providing training via the platform too. These include the likes of Facebook, Intel and Google.

Is Coursera Accredited?

No, Coursera is not a scam.

The company is a legit online school launched by two professors from Standford University backin 2012, and has now grown into more than 40 million users across the globe. They are also in collaboration with the University of London and Yale University. All their courses are accredited as well.

Coursera can open new career opportunities for you because their certificates are recognized and accredited. This is uncommon for most online schools because their certifications usually does not have any meaning.

Nonetheless, you don’t have to worry about that with Coursera. You can even easily get promotions if you get a certification from them, or even start your own online business because you know the fundamentals.

Not comprehensive

Coursera has loads of available courses anyone can take. Unfortunately, their courses aren’t that comprehensive as it lacks more specific details that can only be learned from a physical school.

That isn’t a surprise, though, because Coursera is an online educational platform in the first place…

Expensive fees

Although there are some courses and projects you can enroll at for only $10, there are also many other courses that can go to as high as $1,000 or even $25,000, which is just like paying for the enrolment at a physical college.

That’s just too much especially that you are just paying for online education with ready-made videos and modules.

No guarantee of success

And last but not the least is that it doesn’t have any guarantee of success.

You are just enroling for online education that you hope will help you earn huge money online for your career. The truth is, you need to apply and implement all of your learning to your job or business.

If you just sit there and do nothing even after you completed the course, then there’s no way you can be successful…

I have sent at least 5 emails to the Authority Hacker support and I have never received a single answer. It seems that the support is dead and they are not answering people’s requests.

Expensive upsells

Jonathan Montoya’s Entre Institute course is downright expensive. Note that it can range from $348 to $30,000 annually if you go for the upsells, which is actually where the informative stuff are.

They might be proven effective and educational. But that’s just too much knowing that you just get videos that blabber too much.

Meanwhile, those on the upper end of the spectrum are just too expensive, that it’s ridiculous to pay for them.

Aside from these, there is also no guarantee of success once you finish their courses.

The content present in the course is straightforward and is very practical. It’s also easy to understand. They’re not blabbering about vague mindset or goal-oriented stuff. Instead, they talk about practical solutions to real and immediate affiliate marketing issues. You can immediately use the things you learned here in real life.

Another thing that I like about Freedom Breakthrough is that its creator, Jonathan Montoya, is well documented.

This means that there’s a very low chance he will be gone with your money. We also know his life story and how he ventured into affiliate marketing.

So to go with the paid advertisement model, you should have some money in your pocket. I am talking about having at least enough money to pay $100 – $300 daily on ads.

Before AWOL Academy, there was Empower Network. This is an MLM that provided referrals and training for anyone who joined the company as agents. There is also Project AWOL which was headed by Kameron George.

Well, hold your horses. Because there’s nothing special about any of these!

Yes, of course, you can make money from this MLM.

But it’s just dificult to make good and bountiful earnings from Vestige.

There might be some who earned a few bucks. But that income is just so small and unrealizable, you can even compare it to something that is just slightly higher than minimum wage.

And they do this even if they are working like full-time sales managers! They just exhaust themselves too much just to earn a few bucks.

Pampered Chef doesn’t even have an income disclosure to prove that their members actually earn!

How to make money with Vestige

There are 2 things to do to earn some money from Vestige:

Sell their products
Recruit members into their program and earn commissions from the sales of your downlines

But remember that you can only earn from the sales made by your recruits. That’s how these guys avoid being labeled as a pyramid scheme by the authorities.

And so… let’s talk about their costs.

How much does it cost to join Vestige?

Vestige says that it’s free to join their company. However, quit interestingly, they also say that you should first buy at least $15 worth of their products. You also should buy a business kit worth $3.

That is very cheap for an MLM, right? Well, that’s what makes Vestige different and interesting.

But also take note that MLMs are all about enticing people and making them want to join and become members as soon as possible.

And here’s their compensation plan…

MLM companies always have complicated compensation plans that confused the heck out of you.

They do this so that people will think that there are many ways to earn money, even if the fact is there are just a few! But don’t worry because I’ll simplify things for you.

Here are the ways you can earn from Vestige:

Performance Bonus – Earn 5% to 20% discount on sold products depending on your rank.
Fast Start Bonus – Earn 8% to 20% discount on sold products depending on the number of products sold in a month.
Recruitment Bonus – Earn 5% to 10% bonus for every recruited downline member.

And that’s just another way of saying that…

#1 Saturated market

There are a lot of people who are satisfied with the products sold by Vestige. This shows that they offer quality and effective health and wellness products for different purposes and functions.

This also shows that their members (at least some) are very happy with their business opportunity…

#2 Long presence in the industry

Vestige was founded back in 2004. That’s a whole 17 years of continuous operations! And throughout that time, the company managed to become one of the most valuable and distinguishable direct selling companies in India.

That’s a huge accomplishment for an MLM because most MLMs don’t survive that long. In fact many just last for 2 to 3 years before they shut down and get bankrupt.

But not Vestige, of course…

What I don’t like about Vestige

They might have a number of pros, but their disadvantages still outweigh all of them.

#1 Saturated market

Health and wellness products are very common among MLMs. In fact, most MLMs sell these kinds of products. Health capsules, nutritional supplements, body regimens, and related products are just very common and can be directly bought from any grocery or department store.

You don’t really need to make a lot of effort to contact a Vestige agent just to buy their products…

What’s more is that you have a lot of competition out there!

#2 Hidden monthly costs

Unknown to most members, Vestige has a sales quota of 300 PV. PV means personal volume. It’s also another way of saying that members must sell $300 worth of products monthly to stay as an active member and earn.

If you can’t achieve this, then you can’t earn anything.

But you can avoid this by buying the products yourself! However, that just defeats the purpose of why you want to make money…

#3 Is Vestige a pyramid scheme in disguise?

Nope, Vestige is not a pyramid scheme. But it can surely be counted as a pyramid scheme in disguise…

This is because you must recruit people to earn. But you can still just sell their products and don’t recruit. But doing that means you can’t get enough good money from the business.

Here is a diagram that clearly shows what is happening to their system.

You can see that the people on top, who are most likely the founder and the first members, are the only ones who earn lots of money. And it’s very likely that you’re already at the bottom part.

#4 Downward trend

Here is a final deal breaker for me that I found in Google trends…

Google Trends shows that very few people are searching for Vestige. This means it will be hard to sell their products because not many people are interested in it.

You can also compare it to Farmasi, another MLM which is more reputable well-known, and you’ll see the huge gap.

Healthy Habits Global might say their coffee, tea, and hot chocolate are healthier and are made with more scientific precision, but there’s no guarantee to that. There’s even a good sign that it’s all just marketing gimmick.

Healthy Habits Global is not a pyramid scheme. But it surely is a pyramid scheme in disguise…

Why? Well, it’s because you have to recruit people to earn more money. It’s alright if you just sell and don’t recruit. But the profits you get are just minuscule, it’s not even worth calling as a profit.

Doris was an economics teacher who was passionate about cooking and anything about the kitchen. This led her to start her own company because she also wanted to provide everyday people essential kitchen product. Examples of these are kitchen tools, food products, cookbooks, and small appliances.

Pampered Chef has already grown into one of the most distinguished cookware and kitchen brands around the globe. It even operates in many countries including the USA, Germany, UK, Canada, and Mexico.

Their main headquarter is located in Addison, Illinois.

Did you know that 91.87% of Pampered Chef members lose money?

And to make things worse, statistical reports state that between 72.5% and 99.9% of MLM members lose money as well.

This happens because MLMs always have a “sales quota.” This forces members to sell a certain number of products to stay active and earn commissions.

If you can’t reach the quota, then you must buy them yourself if you want to earn any company incentives.

Can you make money with Pampered Chef?

Yes, you can make money from this MLM.

But it’s just dificult to make good and bountiful earnings from Pampered Chef.

There might be some who earned a few bucks. But that income is just so small, you can even compare it to something that is just slightly higher than minimum wage.

And they do this even if they are working like full-time sales managers! They just exhaust themselves too much just to earn a few bucks.

Pampered Chef doesn’t even have an income disclosure to prove that their members actually earn!

How to make money with Pampered Chef

There are 2 things to do to earn some money from Pampered Chef:

Sell their products such as kitchen tools, appliances, etc.
Recruit members into their MLM program and earn commissions from every downline sale

But note that you can only earn from the sales made by your recruited downline members. This doesn’t happen via recruitment. That’s how these guys avoid being labelled as a pyramid scheme by the authorities.

Many people are satisfied with the products that Pampered Chef sells. This is proof of their quality products and service.

#2 Long presence in the industry

Pampered Chef has been operating since 1980. Not many MLMs survive that long. In fact many just last for 2 to 3 years before they get bankrupt.

This just shows that the company is here to stay. It has also become one of the pioneering MLMs in the industry, that has led to the creation of many more kitchen utensils companies…

What I don’t like about Pampered Chef

They might have a number of pros, but their disadvantages still outweigh all of them.

#1 Expensive products

Pampered Chef sells kitchen utensils, tools, and appliances that are just way too overpriced.

Just take a look at the other brands sold in Amazon…

As you can see, these are way cheaper compared to the $50 to $400 kitchen products that Pampered Chef sells…

#2 Hidden monthly costs

Unknown to many, Pampered Chef has a sales quota of 150 PV. This PV means personal volume and is another way of saying that you should sell $150 worth of products every month to stay active and earn.

If not, then you can’t get any money. But there’s a way to this, and that is by buying the products yourself! That just defeats the purpose of why you want to make money, right?…

#3 Is Pampered Chef a pyramid scheme in disguise?

Pampered Chef is not a pyramid scheme. But it can be called as a pyramid scheme in disguise…

Why? First off, is you have to recruit people to earn money. It’s alright if you just sell and don’t recruit. But you can’t get enough good money if that’s the case.

Here is a diagram that gives you a clearer picture of their system.

You can see that the people on top, who are most likely the founder and the first members, are the only ones who earn lots of money. And it’s very likely that you’re already at the bottom part.

#4 Downward trend

Here is what I found in Google trends…

As you can see, Google Trends shows that not many people are searching for Pampered Chef. This means that you’ll find it hard to sell their products knowing that not many people are interested in it.

You can also compare it to Farmasi, another MLM which is more reputable well-known, and you’ll see the huge gap.

Pampered Chef is a legit MLM company that has been operating for more than 40 years, has multinational members and branches, and sells legit kitchen products while offering a legit business opportunity.

But you need to focus on recruiting people and enticing them to join the MLM in the hopes of making riches. When you already know that this isn’t going to happen…

There are many more better business opportunities out there that are better, more legit, and offers better chances of earning, you can try now…
