What is Stemtech?
Stemtech is a health and wellness Multi-Level-Marketingcompany that develops its own stem cell products.
It was founded back in 2005 by Greg Newman, Ray Carter Jr., and Christian Drapeau.
However, they were only selling the products directly to consumers back then.
It wasn’t until 2009 when they became an official MLM where they recruited members to sell their products so that they could earn commissions.
Based on my research, I discovered that Stemtech has their own exclusive scientists which develop new dietary supplements that help nourish one’s stem cells.
Specifically speaking, their products are made to boost the immune system and help body and cell regeneration.
Its headquarters is located in Florida, but they also have branches in other countries such as Malaysia, Belgium, United Kingdom, and South Africa, and Australia.
Here is a 2-minute video that will help you know more about the company...
Let us then know...
Is Stemtech a pyramid scheme?
Stemtech is not a pyramid scheme. The company has members that earn money by selling their nutritional products without having to recruit people into the system.
But even if this is happening, it’s still worth asking if… Is Stemtech a pyramid scheme in disguise?
What is a pyramid scheme?
A pyramid scheme is a company that is paying members to recruit people into the system.
The more people their members can recruit, the more money the members can earn. This is the main focus of the business instead of the standard selling of products and services.
Because of this, many governments and countries around the globe have already banned these kinds of companies because it’s impossible for all of their members to make money from a company which is only paying for recruitment.
Here is a Wikipedia diagram to help you see why...
The members who make the most money from a company like this are those who aggressively recruit other members into the system and advertise their so called business opportunity, even if it really isn’t one.
You can also see from the diagram that it’s impossible for members to make money in the long run as they are just going to run out of people they can recruit…
I've found a 5-minute video that shows you how you can spot a pyramid scheme in disguise:
But why do many say...
Success is rare with Stemtech
It is hard to achieve success in an MLM company like Legends VIP Network.
According to a report, between 72.5% and 99.9% of MLM members lose money due to the sales quota that these companies have.
These force them to sell a certain number of products monthly for them to be given the bonuses and commissions.
If they are unable to do this, then they have no other option but to just purchase the products for themselves just for the sake of being active and earning money.
This is why the majority of MLM members lose huge amounts of cash from their own savings before they land their first recruit...
How does Stemtech Work?
Stemtech works by selling health and wellness products that are specifically designed to help improve the body’s stem cells.
This leads to better cell regeneration, making you stronger while looking and feeling younger.
Aside from this, the MLM also has an affiliate program where anyone can join and become a sales agent.
They can then buy the products at wholesale prices and sell them at higher retail prices for them to earn commissions.
It sounds nice, but what Stemtech is really doing is that they save themselves the hassle of spending millions of dollars on advertisement because it’s not them that do this, but their members.
The members are the ones who do all the hard work in promoting and marketing their products. It sure is a smart move for a capitalist company...
Stemtech products
Knowing the company’s products makes it easier for you to go about your life as one of their members, that’s if you actually do become one!
Here are a few of Stemtech’s best-selling products:
- Stemtech AFA Extract Plus ($127) - A multivitamin supplement that nourish old cells, repairing them and bringing them back to their original state.
- Dermastem Lift ($50) - A skincare product that rejuvenates the skin and gets rid of wrinkles and dark spots. It makes you look younger.
- D-Fuze ($123) - A device that filters the dangerous electromagnetic frequencies that are emitted by your smartphones and other devices.
It is also necessary to know that there are a lot of other MLMs that are selling very similar products with Stemtech.
Some of the most popular and established ones are:
What’s funny is that they all say that they sell a special kind of product that is only available in their company.
When the reality is that, health and wellness products are just very common!
But then again, knowing that this is what MLMs do… then what makes Stemtech special?
Stemtech flagship product
Dermastem Advanced ($114) - A skincare product that includes aloe vera, Cehami, vanilla, AFA, and other natural ingredients.
This makes you look younger by repairing damaged skin cells. They claim this improves your skin cells’ health by up to 112%.
Check out this 1-minute video about Dermastem Advanced:
It will then be wise if you'll know if...
Can you make money with Stemtech?
Yes. But it’s just very hard.
There might be some who do make money but they work very hard, sometimes even more than 8 hours a day trying to convince people to join this business opportunity.
And what do they get from this? Well, an income that’s similar or even lower than minimum wage.
They also do not have an income disclosure to prove that their members actually do make money...
How to make money with Stemtech
Here are the 2 main ways you can make money from Stemtech:
- Sell products
- Recruit members
But note that you can only earn from the sales that your downline members make and not by directly recruiting them as your downline.
This is how MLMs avoid being called as a pyramid scheme by the FTC.
How much does it cost to join Stemtech?
You have 4 payment options if you’d want to be a member of Stemtech:
- Business Kit ($35) - You become an official independent business partner of Stemtech. This includes access to how to guides, sales receipts, welcome letter, and marketing collateral.
- RCM Wellness Pack ($199) - You become a registered independent business partner, which allows you to purchase products at cheaper wholesale prices. You also get marketing materials.
- RCM Business Pack ($399) - You get the same perks as the RCM Wellness Pack, but you get more products and marketing materials.
- TeamBuilder Pack ($320) - You get the same perks as the RCM Wellness and Business Pack, but with more product varieties and marketing materials.
Stemtech monthly cost
Aside from the aforementioned cots, you also have to maintain 100 PV monthly.
This means selling at least $100 worth of products every month for you to stay active.
And here goes the other costs you’ll incur for the 1st year…
The costs for 1 year are...
- $35 to 320
- $100 x 12
Minimum costs for year 1 = $1,235 to $1,520
Also add up the other costs there like marketing, gas, training, and miscellaneous expenses, and you got one big truckload of costs...
Stemtech compensation plan
MLM companies have complicated compensation plans — including Stemtech. But don’t worry because I am going to simplify this up for you...
There are 3 main ways to earn money from Stemtech. These are:
- Prosperity Bonus Program - Earn 7% to 10% commission from the total sales of your downline members in a month. This depends on your rank and level.
- Lifestyle Leadership Bonus Program - Earn 1% to 10% commission from your total sales in a month if you go beyond the 100 PV mark.
- VIP Customer Program - Earn 2% commission from every VIP customer you have enrolled.
I know you’re confused.
That is completely normal, though, because most, if not all MLMs, have confusing compensation plans where they use weird terms and fancy names so that people will think that there are a lot of ways they can earn money from this MLM.
But the fact is… that there are just 2 things they really just have to do!
And these are:
- Sell their stem cell products
- Recruit people into Stemtech and turn them as your downlines
Here is a 14-minute video if you'd want to learn more about their compensation plan...
Or you can find the full compensation plan here.
Is Stemtech a scam?
Stemtech is not a scam because they sell scientifically proven products that are effective.
They are also paying their members correctly and as what is stated in their compensation plan.
However, Stemtech members soon discover that they’re not really earning any money from the company.
Instead, they’re losing their hard earned cash… Hence, they call the company a scam.
Continue reading to know if this is really what’s happening with Stemtech because I’ll provide you with the pros and cons that’ll help you decide if this is for you or not.
Just to be fully transparent with you, I am not a distributor myself and I do not endorse it in any way.
I have researched the website, testimonials and information on the Internet to get to the bottom of what this program genuinely does. This is because I have been burnt from programs just like this in the past and I want to prevent others from making the same mistakes. What I like about Stemtech
Key Terms:
- Pyramid Scheme – recruits members via a promise for payment from recruiting others into the company rather than providing a product
- Affiliate Marketing- Connecting a customer to a product they are looking for and receiving a commission for doing so
- Red Flag - A warning sign
#1 Positive product reviews
The first thing I like about Stemtech is what their users have to say…
You can see that there are a lot of satisfied customers out there. This means that their products are indeed effective and healthy.
#2 Detailed resources
I also like the fact that they have a plethora of information scattered across the internet, especially in YouTube.
They describe what their company is about, discuss their products and what they can do, and they also have a compensation plan video.
This is a nice thing especially if you’re advertising their products to potential members.
What I don't like about Stemtech
#1 Expensive products
The stem cell products they are selling are overpriced. Check out some of the other brands out there…
There is a huge price gap between Stemtech’s products and other brands.
You are going to have a hard time selling their products if there are cheaper alternatives in the market, that are also effective.
#2 Lacks information
Stemtech doesn’t have an income disclosure.
This is important because this shows that members are earning. In this case, there’s none.
So, it’s safe to conclude that their members aren’t actually earning good figures.
#3 Hidden monthly expenses
You must reach 100 PV monthly which also means selling at least $100 worth of Stemtech products every month.
If you can’t reach this quota, then you have no choice but to just buy the products for your own consumption.
That’s if you want to stay as an active member and still be eligible for all the commissions and bonuses.
Little do MLM members know that they are the biggest customer base of MLM companies because they are assured to purchase the company’s products at a regular basis.
#4 Is Stemtech a pyramid scheme in disguise?
Knowing that you are required to spend $100 monthly means that you must recruit as many people as you can so that you can breakeven with the costs and make some commission out of it.
It’s all about recruitment at the end of the day, which again is a sign that this is a pyramid scheme in disguise...
#5 Saturated market
One of the most common kinds of MLMs are those that sell health and wellness products.
Here’s a list of health MLMs…
Are you sure you can compete with all those? Well, I doubt so.
My opinion - Stemtech
Stemtech is a legit company that sells scientific and medically effective stem cell products. But they’re just way too overpriced.
And talking about their business opportunity?...
It is very obvious that the only way you can make money is by recruiting as many members as you can, despite knowing that they’re just going to end up losing their money.
This isn’t just right. And factor in all the signs of them being a pyramid scheme in disguise, and you can clearly see that this one’s now a good deal.
There are a lot of other business opportunities out there that offer a stable and sustainable source of income...
How I make passive income online
MLMs are not scams or illegal. However, I'm not a fan of them because of the restrictions to the expensive products you have to promote.
Once I learnt about affiliate marketing, I realised it's a far superior business model because:
- You can promote anything you want and truly own the business
- You never need to sell to friends and family
- It's completely free to start
In 2018 I had no idea what affiliate marketing was.
But I went from a full time PE teacher to making a passive income online within one year...
