What does Four Percent Challenge do?

The Four Percent Challenge promises to help you to make money online with affiliate marketing.

It says it will show you how to create a sales funnel and how to get qualified traffic into your funnel.

The short video below shows some of the founder, Vick’s, values with real people’s opinion about the Four Percent Challenge.

When you sign up for the Four Percent Challenge you will find the homepage that looks like this…

Four Percent Challenge Homescreen

But note that there are a lot of other courses out there that are very similar to this, such as:

So let’s dig in a bit deeper and find out…

What’s Inside The Four Percent Challenge?

Before you buy any online course it’s always a good idea to check YouTube and see if anyone has an “inside the program” video.

Check out this short 2 minute inside look to the Four Percent Challenge…

You only need to watch from 3:30-5:30 to see inside

So what do you actually get inside?

There is a 7 step action plan for you to follow to start making money from affiliate marketing:

  1. New Member Orientation (Details, Strategy, Plan)
  2. Quick Setup & Activating Multiple Streams of Income
  3. Funnel Setup
  4. Power Base Activation
  5. Plant Your Flag
  6. The Miracles of Live Events
  7. Operation $100K

Steps 2 & 3 are where you will need to purchase the 8 tools recommended by Vick:

  • Tecademics (Internet Marketing College)
  • ClickFunnels (Sales Funnel Builder)
  • LeadPages (Page Builder)
  • Click Magick (Tracking Tool)
  • GetResponse (Autoresponder)
  • AWeber (Autoresponder)
  • Udimi (Solo Ads)
  • NameCheap (Website Domain Name)

Once you get these tools the real work will begin. However, it’s not really made clear that you will also need to purchase these tools before you start.

Now, I can almost hear your mind saying…

Monthly Costs

Aside from the initial costs, you also have to spend monthly for other tools such as:

  • ClickFunnels- $97 a month- (totally not needed until you have created your own product or have your own business up and running- you can use Elementor & Mailchimp for free if you want to test a Funnel)
  • Keysearch- $17-$34 a month (keyword research tool)
  • Hosting and domain (Bluehost is known for the highest affiliate payout. It seems cheap for your first year but then it’s $100+ a year- and it has pretty poor support and is very slow. I’d recommend Namecheap or Siteground any day before this.)
  • Getresponse – $15+ a month (Email autoresponder)
  • Ads – $100+ a month (otherwise they are a waste of time… and money… and they are VERY hard to make work for affiliate products any more!)

Not many people know that they need to continuously spend money on these for them to fully utilize the course.

And the techniques being taught are getting harder, especially that the market is already saturated…

Is The Four Percent Challenge a Scam?

There are two main ways an online course can be a scam:

  1. Take your money and run off into the sunset, never to be heard from again
  2. Provide some information but it doesn’t live up to their promises

Therefore, the Four Percent Challenge is not a scam. It clearly provides you with the training and tools to make money from affiliate marketing.

But as you continue to read this Four Percent Challenge review, you will start to wonder whether this is the best way to learn about affiliate marketing if you are new to it.

Four Percent Challenge: The Good

Here are some of the things I like about Four Percent Challenge…

#1 Step By Step Training

This is an absolute must for beginners learning anything.

It obviously doesn’t mean everyone will follow it to the T but when you are learning about something new, it’s great to have an exact process to follow with small action points to take each time.

Four Percent Challenge step by step training

There are over 30 “success pills” for you to take.

And it’s recommended to only take one a day so you don’t get overwhelmed.

#2 Legit Business Model

Affiliate marketing is a legit business model.

Many people have had great success from it as you are about to find out in this Four Percent Challenge review.

Here is the overly simplified model…

WA Affiliate Marketing 4 step Process

If you’re like me then you’re probably sceptical about anything that you don’t know works for yourself.

So check out my chat with Jeff and Ben who make over $240k/ month from affiliate marketing (they achieved this in 3 years knowing nothing about it when they started).

#3 No Upsells

This is always a great sign.

The price you see is the price you pay for the Four Percent Challenge forever.

They won’t suddenly chuck in another product that you need to buy to succeed.

However, as you’re about to find out in this Four Percent Challenge review, this is not the only tool you need to purchase.

#4 Positive Reviews

Trust Pilot has 98% positive reviews for Four Percent (this has many other programs other than the challenge) with an average of 4.8 out of 5 stars from over 600 reviews.

Four Percent Challenge review

It’s important to take this with a pinch of salt as so many of the reviews are from people that have only just signed up.

They have no track record and are complete newbies.

My guess is it’s one of the training requirements as new members go through the course to leave a review on Trust Pilot.

#5 30 Day Money Back Guarantee

For peace of mind!

At least you get the chance to try the program for 30 days then decide if it is for you or not.

This is a great signal from any online course as they are clearly confident in their product.

Four Percent Challenge: The Not So Good

Here are some of the bad parts of the Four Percent Challenge that you should be aware of before diving in…

#1 Additional Costs- Over $185 a month

So in addition to the $197 you need to pay for the course you are recommended to join 8 more tools…

  • Tecademics: It used to cost up to $12,000 but currently this product is not available
  • ClickFunnels: $97/month
  • LeadPages: $37/month
  • Click Magick: $17/month
  • GetResponse: $15/month
  • AWeber: $19/month
  • Udimi: Varies depending on your solo ad costs but can easily be $200+/ month
  • NameCheap: $10+/year

You’re looking at another $185/ month minimum for the additional costs!

Click funnels

When you dig into the Trust Pilot reviews you can find some more honest ones from people that have tried the program for a while.

The review below shows that this is clearly a pain point for real members, with this guy already spending $660 with nothing to show for it.

Four Percent Challenge review

With this information up front you can make a more informed decision.

#2 Focus on Paid Traffic

Here’s the truth…

Paid traffic works and can scale your profits quickly…

However, you NEED a sales funnel that converts before you use it.

Four Percent Challenge review

As you can see from the screenshot and review above, members are taught how to use paid traffic early on.

This is a terrible idea with new members as they are only going to throw money away to get a handful of leads and get nothing back.

It’s not uncommon for people to end up using credit cards to chase lost money, racking up piles of debt.

Any newbie should be taught how to get free traffic to test their sales funnel before scaling with paid traffic.

#3 Steep Learning Curve

Each platform has a learning curve…

And there are a lot of platforms and tools you are recommended to use!

It’s not as simple as just paying $97 a month for clickfunnels and then sitting back to watch the money roll in.

You need to use it regularly, fail, try some more and tweak your funnels to get them working.

And you are recommended to do this on 8 platforms all at the same time.

If you are not a super quick learner (and even if you are) you may end up overwhelmed and confused.

#4 Lessons Are Locked

For beginners, this could be seen as a good thing to prevent overwhelm.

Four Percent Challenge Locked training
Four Percent Challenge Locked
Four Percent Challenge review

However, people learn at different speeds. Everyone will be at a different stage of their affiliate marketing journey.

So it makes no sense for online programs to do this.

As you can see in the review above, people can be left frustrated by having to wait a few days to receive training they have paid for.

#5 Vick’s History… He Was Almost Sent to Jail!

This is quite a long story and personally I believe Vick tries to help people these days.

However, he was caught up in a scandal in previous online programs (aka scams) that stole other people’s affiliate commission and fraudulently took people’s “insurance policy” as a loan.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=5&v=6ZHRlAscJ6Q
Watch this 90-second news story

I’d like to believe he is a changed man. But it’s a major red flag for it to have got as far in the court process as it did!

#6 Pyramid Scheme Signals

First of all, the Four Percent Challenge highly recommends numerous tools as you’ve already read in this Four Percent Challenge review.

It’s no surprise that each of these earns Vick affiliate commission.

Nothing too wrong with this so far but…

You are given a “done for you sales funnel” to promote The Four Percent Challenge.

Again not a huge amount wrong with that.

Now, you can use the lessons to promote anything you want, but you’re really pushed to promote The Four Percent Challenge more than anything else. As in you won’t be given a done for you sales funnel to promote any other program!

Pyramid Scheme

There is no product they are selling or offering other than the training (which really promotes The Four Percent Challenge!)

It’s not an outright pyramid scheme as you can use these skills to promote anything you like so the training could be viewed as the product.

But it’s certainly important to be aware of this!

Ready to make passive income online?

I’ve created a growing passive income online with no marketing skills or online experience…

I’ve made a special video for you to explain exactly how I did this.

Make Time Online Income

My Opinion – Four Percent Challenge

There is a lot of legit training and knowledge you can learn from the Four Percent Challenge.

It’s really aimed at new affiliate marketers but in my opinion, newbies should avoid this like the plague.

There is too much to learn and will definitely leave a large hole in your pocket before you start making any money.

Simply put… it’s not worth the money!

In 2018 I had no idea what affiliate marketing was.

Once I learnt about it, it just seemed like a great business model that can grow over time using the power of the internet.

So I tried to figure it out by myself… that got me nowhere fast.

Then I fell for some terrible online scams.

But eventually, I found Wealthy Affiliate. It teaches long-term proven strategies to build an online business with all the tools & support needed.

And this happened…

Make Time Online Income

Once you learn the process of getting thousands of people to find your website every month (for free) there really is not limit to what you can achieve online.

I’ve reviewed hundreds of courses or programs that claim to help people make money online. And I’ve spoken to dozens of 6-7 figure online entrepreneurs on my podcast.

This is by far the best place I’ve seen to help beginners get set up on the right foot. You can read my full Wealthy Affiliate review here (including the pros and cons!)

What is Savage Affiliates about?

Savage Affiliates is a comprehensive affiliate marketing course created by Franklin Hatchett.

This course teaches all the necessary topics that one needs to learn in order to become a successful affiliate marketer...

Since its official launch back in 2018, Savage Affiliates has gone through two major updates. The latest version, as of 2020, is known as Savage Affiliates 2.0.

Is Savage Affiliates a Scam: Intro

The course comes with a lot of goodies. In its latest update, Savage Affiliates offer the following features:

  • 30 hours of hands-on training
  • Comprehensive training on all types of affiliate marketing strategies
  • Private community on Facebook

Savage Affiliates is a program designed to help students establish a profitable affiliate marketing business within 30 days.

If you already have a website, Franklin Hatchett will teach you how to scale it to new heights.

The Savage Affiliates program is for you if you're looking to create an online business that makes passive income. That means making money even while you sleep.

It's also essential that you understand the concept of building a website around a given topic. You can't just randomly create a website that doesn't have something to offer.

That means you'll need to write the content of your site or outsource it to other writers. But don't worry, as full training will be provided to you by one of the internet's best affiliate marketers.

Coding won't be necessary. All you need is the willingness to learn and put in the work.

Hatchett makes it clear that there are no 'magic buttons' that will provide success in an instant. Everything is earned through hard work and dedication.

That's what this course is all about.

Check out this 16-minute video showing what this course is all about...

And who is the guy who created this course?...

Who is Franklin Hatchett?

Franklin Hatchett is the creator of Savage Affiliates. He is a successful online marketer, focusing mainly on affiliate marketing and SEO.

Not only will it let us know more about the man behind the course, but it also gives us an idea of what he can bring to the table.

Is Savage Affiliates a Scam: Creators

Franklin Hatchett started his affiliate marketing career back in 2015. His affiliate marketing journey is documented on his blog, 'OnlineDimes.com.'

Hatchett was among the very few online marketers that were sharing actionable marketing strategies.

While many so-called online gurus and digital marketing experts talked about generalized concepts, Hatchett was taking a different route...

He was showcasing specific step-by-step marketing tactics that not many people in the online space even think about sharing.

I looked through his blog site and was honestly surprised at the amount of value it provides to aspiring marketers.

Hist topics weren't cliche like what other websites were sharing. Every post is unique and has a ton of useful detail.

There was even one where he shared details about his exact link-building strategies, which was mind-blowing...

That's what makes Franklin Hatchett such a reliable online marketer.

He isn't fake like the others. He genuinely wants to help you through a field that gave him the opportunity to succeed.

Right now, he is a decorated online marketer and coach. He also has a YouTube channel with over 350,000 subscribers...

How does Savage Affiliates Work?

Savage Affiliates is Franklin Hatchett's first and only course.

Before he decided to create his own course, he promoted other affiliate marketing courses from other authors.

Since it's his very first course, Franklin Hatchett gave it his all. He provides tips for every level, including how to get sales even on a small budget by using free traffic on platforms like YouTube.

Here's a quick overview of how Franklin Hatchett structured Savage Affiliates:

  • He starts by showing you some of his earnings and results from his affiliate marketing ventures.
  • He will then introduce the importance of having multiple products and traffic sources.
  • He will then briefly explain what free traffic is before reverting to teaching strategies.
  • He will teach you several types of online traffic, including SEO traffic, Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and YouTube videos.
  • He will teach you how to find the right niches and products and choose an affiliate platform (including what niches to avoid).
  • He will teach you how to build websites and landing pages. Some great tools will be introduced at this point.
  • He will also show you how to do proper email marketing.
  • He will teach you how to track your sales, offers, and several other metrics.
  • He will share a lot of tips for starting with zero budget.

It's important to be aware that there are some other similar courses to this that exist such as:

They all provide you with a holistic overview of affiliate marketing, without digging into one specific area in detail.

Compared to the other options I would personally recommend Savage Affiliates. But it's definitely not my top recommended program due to the lack of depth in any one area, which means you'll struggle to become good enough at one thing to make any money from the training.

Inside Savage Affiliates

Savage Affiliates has a total of nine modules that talk about affiliate marketing from start to finish. Here's a sneak peek of what you'll find inside this course:

Module #1 - Affiliate Introduction

The first module sees Franklin Hatchett explaining what affiliate marketing is and other necessary basics. This module also shows his affiliate marketing experiences, results, and earnings over the years.

Module #2 - Niches and Products

This module teaches you how to research new or fresh niches, as well as some places to find legit affiliate offers. Franklin Hatchett will also provide some dos and don'ts for beginners when looking for potential niches and products.

Is Savage Affiliates a Scam: Inside

Module #3 - Let's Build Some Assets!

In this module, Franklin will explain the importance of your website - your most important online asset. He also shows other important online assets and how to build one if you don't have them yet.

Module #4 - How to Be Successful With ClickBank

In this module, Franklin will teach you how to make ClickBank work for you. Specifically, he will show you the strategies that work in this platform.

Module #5 - Amazon Affiliate Program

In this module, Franklin will teach you the two effective ways to sell Amazon products. He will also teach you how the entire commission structure works and how you can profit from it.

Module #6 - Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

Franklin Hatchett believes that SEO plays an essential role in affiliate marketing. He teaches valuable SEO tips that will prove useful when promoting your affiliate sites later on.

Module #7 - Paid Ads

Surprisingly, this module talks about paid ads, which I didn't think would be included in an affiliate marketing course. But Franklin Hatchett proved me wrong as he will show you how paid ads work hand-in-hand with affiliate marketing.

Module #8 - Free Traffic

Free traffic is essential, especially if you're short or out of budget. Franklin will teach you how to get sales using free traffic on platforms like YouTube.

Module #9 - Email Marketing

To put the icing on the cake, Franklin will teach you how to set up a powerful email marketing campaign. He will teach you how he does it and the strategies he uses that most affiliate marketers aren't doing.

Super Version Additional Modules

If you avail the 'Super' version of Savage Affiliates, you'll get two additional modules:

Module #10: Launching Jacking and Web Hosting

In this additional module, Franklin will show you a blueprint on how to launch Jacking Affiliate. He will also share his blueprint on how to take advantage of web hosting affiliates.

Module #11 - ClickFunnels Affiliate Marketing

If you avail the super version, this module will become the fifth module, with 'Amazon Affiliate Marketing' moving to module six, and so on. In this module, you will learn how to create dazzling websites and landing pages using ClickFunnels.

You will also receive Free Gifts and bonus modules worth up to 14 videos.

As you can see, the entire course is well-structured. It's like a snowball that grows bigger and bigger as you progress.

It's just like the 6 Week Super Affiliate course, only that it's better..

Check out this other 14-minute video about this affiliate marketing course...

And here are the costs...

Savage Affiliates cost to join

Savage Affiliates have two versions: Standard and Super.

As you may have already figured out, Standard only offers the basic course, while Super has some additional goodies. The pricing also varies by $100:

Savage Affiliates Standard Version - $197

  • Over-the-shoulder training
  • Full niche research training using Franklin's methods
  • Complete website setup and training
  • Complete email marketing setup and training
  • Complete funnel setup and training
  • Complete ClickBank Training with BONUS funnels
  • Complete Amazon affiliate marketing training
  • Google SEO traffic mastery training

Savage Affiliates Super Version $297

What you're getting:

Everything in the Standard version, including:

  • Step-by-step ClickFunnels affiliate academy
  • Done for your affiliate marketing funnels
  • Launch jacking affiliate method blueprint
  • Web hosting affiliate method blueprint.

Savage Affiliates monthly cost

You will need to pay $250+ each month for the basic tools Savage Affiliates recommends. ClickFunnels, Aweber and Bluehost are just 3 of the main affiliate links Franklin promotes inside his courses and are necessary to buy to use the course!

Savage Affiliates extra costs

Most of them are simply not needed for beginners... in fact, some of them are outright dangerous for beginners!

Here are some of the tools you'll need:

  • ClickFunnels- $97 a month- (totally not needed until you have created your own product or have your own business up and running- you can use Elementor & Mailchimp for free if you want to test a Funnel)
  • Keysearch- $17-$34 a month (keyword research tool)
  • Hosting and domain (Bluehost is known for the highest affiliate payout. It seems cheap for your first year but then it's $100+ a year- and it has pretty poor support and is very slow. I'd recommend Namecheap or Siteground any day before this.)
  • Getresponse - $15+ a month (Email autoresponder)
  • Ads - $100+ a month (otherwise they are a waste of time... and money... and they are VERY hard to make work for affiliate products any more!)

As you can see it's not as straightforward as paying a $200 one off payment and then you're good to make money. There is a large ongoing cost that most people are not aware of when they start.

And the techniques being taught are getting harder and harder to be successful with in the 2020's.

Savage Affiliates reviews online

Savage Affiliates is an online course that teaches its subscribers how to earn money through affiliate marketing.

But what you like to know is if it is worth the try and if it works. To give you an answer to that, here's what its subscribers have to say...

Common positive Savage Affiliates reviews

Savage Affiliates is a pretty popular affiliate marketing course. Franklin Hatchett did a great job in not only creating a complete course but also promoting it online.

Here are some of the positive and negative reviews that you can find online:

"Franklin likes to offer a ton of value for a low price. I've bought many other affiliate marketing courses over the years, and none of them seemed to over-deliver like this one."

"I have reviewed courses that cost upwards of $1,500. Savage Affiliates is modestly priced at $197-$297, and it is well worth it."

"Considering other courses about affiliate marketing available on the market, it's pretty clear that Savage Affiliates is one of the best. This course delivers everything you would expect from it. I consider this one a better option than Project 24, which is a relatively similar course."

Common negative Savage Affiliates reviews

"Some of the modules seem a little out of order; I think the free traffic should have all been lumped together at the beginning."

"Some small elements of the basics are skipped over, such as talking about nameservers."

Is Savage Affiliates a scam?

Savage Affiliates is not a scam. It's a 100% legit course created by one of the industry's best.

The amount of feedback it's been getting online proves that it's far from being a scam...

Savage Affiliates pros

#1 Bang for your buck

There's nothing more to say but wow. The price is in a fantastic range of $197 for Standard and $297 for Super.

For the value that it brings, this course is nothing but a win-win for the pricing department.

#2 Easy to understand

The course covers all the main points clearly.

Franklin uses simple language while rarely using any complicated jargon...

#3 Honest to goodness author

The course features Franklin showing students where the majority of his money comes from, all while giving you examples.

Is Savage Affiliates a Scam: Pros

He is very transparent with everything from his earnings to his experience.

#4 Active private community

And here is another thing I like about the course...

Is Savage Affiliates a Scam: Pros 2

The private Facebook group is filled with other members who are also willing to learn and help other members.

Savage Affiliates cons

#1 Super package is for expert affiliate marketers

It's hard to find any caveats from a genuinely well-structured course.

The only flaw that I found is that the 'super' version of the course is catered towards more experienced affiliate marketers.

Is Savage Affiliates a Scam: Cons

Jacking, Web Hosting, and ClickFunnels aren't areas where beginners would immediately delve into.

That's why if you're completely new to affiliate marketing, stick to the $197 standard version...

My opinion - Savage Affiliates

If you want to achieve success in affiliate marketing, this course is definitely for you.

It's an excellent resource for starting your affiliate marketing career or picking up where you left off.

The price is great, the author is superb, and just everything about this course screams premium value.

So if you're interested, check out Savage Affiliates and get the most out of the best affiliate marketing course in the market...

DWA follows three core elements:

  • Selecting the center - pinpointing big niches that generate profit while finding ones with low prevailing competition.
  • Developing Blogs - building blogs from the ground up or developing existing small ones; turning them into larger content platforms.
  • Utilizing the right SEO - use effective white-hat SEO strategy that will initiate a domino effect of high rankings and long-term web traffic.

And who are the guys behind this?...

Who is Sara Young and Andrew Hansen?

Both are successful online marketers who had the similar goal of teaching the right way of doing online marketing.

Is Digital Worth Academy a Scam: Creators

Sara Young

Sara Young is an affiliate marketer who has done online marketing for years. She created her first digital asset back in 1995.

Since then, she's been helping others achieve the same success. She has also developed multiple digital marketing products that help aspiring marketers.

Andrew Hansen

Like Sara, Andrew Hansen is also a top-level affiliate marketer. He provides a series of quality coaching programs and other products to his avid followers.

Andrew also has a good reputation for being a professional online marketing coach. He is an SEO expert and has other well-known courses.

Their collaboration gave us Digital Worth Academy, a great course for online marketing.

How does Digital Worth Academy Work?

Learning should be essential if you want to take advantage of online marketing. But at the same time, learning shouldn't be complicated.

Sara Young and Andrew Hansen had similar beliefs. That’s why they made Digital Worth Academy as simple and interactive as possible.

Similar to other multi-level marketing courses, Digital Worth Academy works pretty much the same way. You'll first start by accessing their landing page

Once you're there, click the "GET INSTANT ACCESS" button. You will then redirect to a new page where you will fill out your contact and payment details.

Once you've made your order, you will receive an email detailing your purchase. You will be given a link to where you can create an account and log in.

DWA is simple and easy to use. Once you log in to your account, you will get access to six main tabs:

Dashboard

This is where you can fill out your own different personal details. You can set up your profile, join workgroups, view your achievements, tweak your privacy settings, and more.

Training

Contains a bunch of training courses divided into seven different modules.

Coaching Calls

This is where details and schedules on webinars, live coaching, and one-on-one coaching calls will be posted.

Community

This tab is where you get to interact and communicate with other DWA members.

Tools:  this is where you will get access to three highly powerful digital marketing software tools: Commission Wizard, Diamond Keyword, and Miner Elite.

Bonuses

Highlights professionals who are available to do service when you're unable to do a particular task.

Digital Worth Academy has made things easier and convenient for you. Everything you need to get started with creating digital assets that sell twice as much is available here.

It's important to be aware that there are some other similar courses to this that exist such as:

They all provide you with a holistic overview of affiliate marketing, without digging into one specific area in detail.

Inside Digital Worth Academy

We just mentioned what you would get when you access Digital Worth Academy for the first time. Now, I'm going to give you in-depth details about each component of the entire course.

The Course

The course comprises seven sections containing more than 30 modules. It also comes with 150 coaching videos that detail the entire process of developing profitable web assets from scratch. There will also be guides on how to make huge profits by selling these assets.

Coaching Program

You will have 10 week's worth of coaching sessions with both Sara and Andrew. Their team of professional marketers will also coach you.

Everyone will guide you every step of the way. The entire process will include live webinars, a responsive support desk, one-on-one coaching calls, an active forum, and so much more.

You will even meet former students who are now teachers and coaches of the program. These people have reached their level of success and are now running their respective businesses. It will be a great experience learning from them.

Is Digital Worth Academy a Scam: Inside

Software Tools

Digital Worth Academy understands the monetary struggle of acquiring expensive digital marketing tools. That's why the platform offers a proprietary software suite that contains the tools you need to gain a competitive edge.

Building web properties from scratch isn't a walk in the park, after all. You'll need all the resources you can get.

Fortunately, Digital Worth Academy has built-in software that provides you with everything you need. As mentioned earlier, there are three main tools that you will be using:

  • Tool #1 - The Commission Wizard V.2.0: this tool will make finding profitable niches faster. At the same time, it will also find opportunities in huge markets.
  • Tool #2 - Diamond Keyword Miner: this tool will automatically find areas within your market demographic where traffic is easier, and revenue is immediately available.
  • Tool #3 - Profit Calculator: this tool provides a quick and easy way to calculate your monthly revenue potential.

The data you get will be relevant before you enter any available area in your market. It will provide you with information that determines if or not that area is worth entering.

Each of these tools will help in different aspects of your online marketing campaign. So take full advantage of them whenever you can. They will prove useful once you’ve accumulated multiple online assets.

Community

Digital Worth Academy is more than just a platform. It's also a community of like-minded people aspiring to achieve marketing success.

The program will let you interact and communicate within the community through their private Facebook group, forum, and member's area. So not only will you learn from the courses and coaching sessions, but from other DWA members as well.

Check out this other 11-minute video that shows you what to expect with Digital Worth Academy...

Let's then talk about the cons...

Digital Worth Academy cost to join

The overall price to join the Digital Worth Academy coaching program is $1997. You can also get it for an installment price of $797 across three different payment periods.

If you're in doubt, you'll be delighted to know that DWA offers a 60-day money-back guarantee. That means the risk is very minimal, if there's even one, to begin with.

The creators are certified professionals who've placed their reputation on the line to give out this one-of-a-kind offer. They are very much confident that the program will deliver value and quality as promised.

Money-Back Guarantee

Don't think Digital Worth Academy is the right course for you? No worries! You will get 100% of your money back without any problem.

Just make sure that it's within the first 60 days. But with the legitimacy of this program, I doubt you'll even consider this the moment you get access to it.

Digital Worth Academy is available for a one-time payment of $1997.

Digital Worth Academy reviews online

Digital Worth Academy is an online digital marketing course that teaches you how to use the internet to earn good money.

But what you really want to know is if it's worth the price and is effective...

Common positive Digital Worth Academy reviews

Digital Worth Academy has a lot of positive online reviews. There have been many people talking about the value that it brings to anyone who uses it.

It's not surprising, considering that two reputable online marketers created it.

Here are some bits that I've collected from reading all of the positive reviews for DWA:

"As far as I know, this is not just a digital marketing course. This is way more than that. If you give interest towards the course, you can earn a lot of money in a few months. Just my experience. Ask other people too."

"Well made videos, content is simple to follow and easy to understand. Looking forward to seeing more. HALFWAY: Videos are still great, content is still simple, almost too simple. Great for someone who doesn't know anything about digital marketing, but not informative enough for those that have a basic understanding already."

"All-in-all the academy has long been a favorite of mine. If one truly wants to learn affiliate digital marketing, if one truly wants to earn 7 digits annually by building and flipping web properties, the cost is high, so only those of you who want to implement it online business should invest in this academy. Guys!! Do not wait & register yourself now, be a web millionaire."

Common negative Digital Worth Academy reviews

From all the reviews that I've seen and read about Digital Worth Academy, I've yet to see anything negative. So, I won't share any comments since there aren't any.

"If I can pinpoint a single downside about DWA, it would probably be its price. And I'm pretty sure a lot of people here can agree with me."

"However, if you consider the extreme value that the program offers, you'll understand why it isn't much of a negative thing. In fact, you might even feel that it's a bit underpriced."

Is Digital Worth Academy a scam?

At this point in the review, it's safe to say that Digital Worth Academy is not a scam.

It is a high-quality coaching platform developed by two reputable marketing gurus.

You can even look-up their credentials online. Both Sara and Andrew are big-name personalities in the online marketing industry.

Some members complained about their digital assets not selling as much. That's because these people think that the program will help them earn money fast.

Again, DWA isn't a "get rich quick" scheme. It offers legitimate courses that teach you how to do things the right way. You will eventually earn high profits in the long run. But you will first go through the struggle of creating online assets.

It’s genuine manner of generating profit is the main reason why it's far from being a scam. For me, it’s a legitimate platform for anyone who wants to learn online marketing.

But I suggest you opt for the $197 since you can save more...

In simple terms, it’s all yours...

Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing reviews online

Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing is an online course which teaches you how to earn up to six digits from your blog.

But what you really like to know is if it works or not, right?

Well, to answer that, I've gathered what exactly its subscribers have to say about it...

Common positive Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing reviews

  • Comprehensive
  • Legit
  • Educational
  • Worth the price

When it comes to the positive feedback this course has, you can find a lot of them online. That’s good news, right? The statements below are from reviews and comments from people who have taken the course:

“Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing is a comprehensive resource taught by one of the top affiliate marketers. I truly believe that if you apply the strategies in this course, you can achieve remarkable results, just like thousands of other students.”

“I am so glad I purchased this course. In my opinion (and in business in general) it takes money to make money as long as you’re smart about who/what you’re investing in.”

“The course is amazing and worth every cent! Plus you get a lifetime membership so going back time and time again to implement new strategies is easy. We took her course a month ago and easily got our money back within a month.”

“As someone who has taken the course, it is extremely good value. Whilst $200 seems like a lot I have paid much less for courses full of fluff – which this is certainly not.”

Common negative Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing reviews

  • Has some gaps

As for the negative feedback, there’s only one review I came across with. And honestly, as I’ve also read many reviews, this website so far has done many reviews that always play the devil’s advocate when everyone out there is hyping over a product or course.

This will leave you more vigilant but which is a good thing.

“There are some decent teachings and ideas within the course, but nothing is covered in-depth, there are significant gaps in the material, and you can easily find better training freely available online for 90% of the topics covered.”

Is Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing a scam?

The answer to this question, without further ado, is no.

Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing is not a scam.

It is a legit course that will teach you what you need to know about making money out of blogging through affiliate marketing.

This course will give you a solid foundation when it comes to the basics that you need to know. Yes, this course is definitely not for advanced bloggers or affiliate marketers but that’s what makes it a good course.

It touches on the parts that beginners should be made aware of so they won’t commit the same mistakes most advanced level bloggers have committed before they became what they are now.

That saves them, beginners, from going around doing things the wrong way.

In this course, learning is a guaranteed process and earning is highly dependent on whether you are willing and determined to implement what you have learned from Michelle.

Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing pros

#1 Excellent content quality

One pro you might want to consider when you decide if you want to take this course or not is the fact that content-wise, it is excellent.

Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing Review: Pros

It contains just what you need. If it’s about getting paid while you do blogging, then this course will give you just that.

#2 Recommended for beginners

As I’ve mentioned before, it is definitely not for beginners.

Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing Review: Pros 2

This course is pretty much basic that is why it is most likely that beginners should be the ones to give it a try (similar to Aversity Gold Masterclass).

So if you are at an intermediate or advanced level, maybe this course won’t be of much advantage to you.

#3 Active Facebook community group

Another pro that might excite you is the Facebook community group this course offers. And no, it is not like any other community groups which are inactive.

This one is very much active and you’ll get to engage with other students, ask questions and help one another.

Also, Michelle hosts a Saturday thread wherein you’ll get to ask her anything about the course or blogging or affiliate marketing.

#4 30-day money-back guarantee

And if you ever find out that this course is just not for you, don’t worry because you’ll get your money back.

Michelle won’t keep you from having your $197 back as long as you contact her within the first 30 day of your purchase.

So no worries because you’ll get a full refund.

Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing cons

#1 Text-based

If you are a video person or if you're someone who took online courses and got used to the lecture videos they offer, then you might find it a bit of a letdown that Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing is a text-based course.

Yes, you’ll be learning though PDFs and no videos.

#2 A bit  pricey

Another reason that might hold you back from making a purchase could be because of the course’s price.

Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing Review: Cons

$197 is definitely not a small amount of money and you might think of the other courses you found online that offer you lessons on blogging and affiliate marketing for a cheaper price.

But this course is a legit course with many positive feedback. You’ll get more out of the $197 you paid for. That's a guarantee and not a fluff.

And that’s something you might want to think about carefully.

So learning is a guaranteed process. And that’s how this course basically works.

It's important to be aware that there are some other similar courses to this that exist such as:

They all provide you with a holistic overview of affiliate marketing, without digging into one specific area in detail.

Aversity Gold Masterclass reviews online

Aversity Gold Masterclass is an online course that teaches how to monetize your online presence using affiliate marketing.

But what you really want to know is if this is a nice opportunity to make money online.

To answer that, I gathered what its previous and current students have to say...

Common positive Aversity Gold Masterclass reviews

If you search Aversity Gold Masterclass, there are only a few reviews you can read online. This is actually one of the cons of this course which I will be discussing later on.

But it is important to note that most of those reviews have given positive feedback on this course like the ones you can find below:

“I’m earning commissions in Aversity  right now, and It’s a great feeling to see them roll in. I believe in the product so much that I created my own Averisty Gold Masterclass bonus.”

“Aversity is one of the few companies in the world that provides 1-on-1 coaching to it’s members. The moment you join, you can book an appointment with your coach and talk to them if you need any help. it’s truly amazing.”

“One thing that I believe you should know is the fact that this isn’t a one-button money-making system, Aversity is a legit business strategy with a proven system. You will need to put the time and work to make it happen for yourself.”

Common negative Aversity Gold Masterclass reviews

While there are many positive reviews, we cannot also ignore the negative ones. So far, there isn't that much of a negative feedback. And it is equally important to note that the one below is from someone who has not taken the course:

“Fake comments and lies. These websites can no longer be winning. This guy can no longer be legit.”

Is Aversity Gold Masterclass a scam?

No, Aversity Gold Masterclass is not a scam.

It is a legit affiliate marketing course that’s worth the hype surrounding it.

One thing that you must know though is that it is not a get-rich-quick scheme so you won’t be earning immediately. As what Bagheri said, it would take time to get your desired results.

But rest assured that what you are building is a long lasting online business.

It will teach you a proven system and all you have to do is put it in the necessary time and effort in making that system work for you...

What does Stack That Money do?

It’s a forum and a huge community for online marketers.

It has so many different threads and categories that there is something for anyone that is interested in online marketing inside.

The short video below will show you how Stack That Money could help you…

There are opportunities for you to learn from proven successful affiliate marketers about the techniques and tactics that have worked for them.

Is it starting to sound pretty interesting?

It’s important to be aware that there are some other similar courses to this that exist such as:

They all provide you with a holistic overview of affiliate marketing, without digging into one specific area in detail.

Let’s dig in a bit more…

What’s Inside Stack That Money?

The quick video below shows you some of the content that is available inside Stack That Money.

As you can see there are all kinds of discussions inside that can really help shorten the learning curve for affiliate marketers.

These are the main discussion threads:

  • Traffic discussion area
  • Buy & sell section
  • Beginners section
  • Life section
  • Success stories

But STM has much more to offer.

Here are some of the not so obvious things you can also learn from Stack That Money or use it for:

Now, I can almost hear your mind saying…

Is Stack That Money a Scam?

There are two main ways an online course can be a scam:

  1. Take your money and run off into the sunset, never to be heard from again
  2. Provide some information but it doesn’t live up to their promises

Therefore, Stack That Money is not a scam.

As you continue to read this Stack That Money review, you will see it clearly explains what it will provide you with (an online marketing forum) and it delivers it.

They don’t make crazy claims about making thousands of dollars a month with a click of a button and there are some great discussions inside it.

Stack That Money: The Good

Here are some of the things I like about Stack That Money…

#1 High Quality Due to The Barrier to Entry (aka Cost)

You simply won’t find people inside the forum who have no idea what they are talking about.

People will not continue to pay $99 a month unless they are serious about affiliate marketing and are making money from it.

Stack That Money Price

This means that the discussions and support you receive inside will be high quality and of value to you, rather than someone guessing and wasting your time down a rabbit hole.

#2 Active & Supportive Community

The community is super active with many discussion threads being updated on a daily basis.

Stack That Money Forum

A lot changes with online marketing so getting up to date and current information is crucial to succeed.

#3 Great for Networking/ Masterminds

Mastermind groups and networking is crucial for any successful business.

It’s even more the case when you work online.

Getting help and ideas from other people who are at different stages of their affiliate marketing journey is a great way to shorten your learning curve.

These online marketers will also have big email lists or connections to help you put your name on the map quicker.

#4 Get Help From Legit Successful Marketers

There are many “super affiliates” inside the platform.

They will often contribute to discussions or even have some strategies and techniques they have personally used laid out.

Stack That Money review

For example, here are a couple of legit super affiliates that earn millions of dollars a year from affiliate marketing:

They are both members of Stack That Money.

#5 Possible to Get Quality Traffic From the Forum

Forum marketing is still a legit way that people get traffic to their website.

Just by being active in a community and sharing some helpful and useful thoughts or advice people will check out your website.

Depending on what it is that you market it’s possible to get some great quality and highly targeted traffic from action takers to your website.

Having 10 people that check out your website and take action is far better than having 1,000 people that spend 10 minutes reading it only to leave without taking any action to help themself.

Stack That Money: The Not So Good

Here are some of the parts of Stack That Money that I, personally, didn’t like and think you should be aware of…

#1 Not Great For Beginners

It has a beginner section and is marketed like it will be useful for beginner affiliate marketers.

It 100% could be really helpful for you as a beginner…

But only if you engage regularly, connect with other marketers and take serious action every day.

Paying $99 a month when you are brand new to affiliate marketing for a forum is plain crazy in my eyes. Especially if you have a full-time job and other commitments (like a family, or a life offline).

It will take a while for you to learn what to actually use as there is no step by step training to follow and you’ll almost certainly try a few things that don’t work for you before you see any results.

#2 Forums Are Not What They Once Were

The Admin Zone makes it perfectly clear that forums are not quite as effective as they used to be.

Stack That Money started in 2011 when forum marketing was in its prime.

Stack That Money Review

Even though forums are not as great for driving traffic as they once were, Stack That Money is still super active compared to many other online forums.

#3 A Lot of Dating/ Adult/ Mobile Installs etc.

You will be taught a lot of specific techniques that are only relevant to certain niches.

Stack That Money Adult, Mobile, Dating

If these are not the niches that you are targetting (or planning on getting into) then it won’t be that helpful for you.

#4 “Follow Alongs” Failing

There are “follow along” threads that you are encouraged to start when you join STM.

The idea is that you can follow a newbie’s journey to making money.

Stack That Money review

However, as you can see in the screenshot above many people end up failing and simply stop posting to the thread.

It means a lot of these techniques have either become outdated or they just aren’t useful to follow.

#5 Information Overload (Increase Shiny Object Syndrome)

There is so much information inside it’s hard to know where to start.

There is no step by step training available if you’re not sure what route to go down and they even have additional course bundles such as the ones you see below.

Stack That Money Opportunities

This means many people will jump from one idea to another and not stick with one thing until it succeeds.

There are so many ways to make money online that getting everything available at one time is not great for new to intermediate affiliate marketers.

Ready to make passive income online?

I’ve created a growing passive income online with no marketing skills or online experience…

I’ve made a special video for you to explain exactly how I did this.

Make Time Online Income

My Opinion- Stack That Money Review

It’s a great forum where you’ll be able to network and find out anything that you specifically want to know about affiliate marketing.

If you are looking to scale your income and learn something, in particular, this could well be the platform you were looking for.

However, if you are not making $500+ per month from affiliate marketing then this is probably not the place for you.

Most techniques involve paying for traffic, which can add up the costs very quickly to thousands of dollars a month. If you don’t figure out how to make a profit this can compound in the wrong direction for you as you chase lost money.

New online marketers will be left feeling overwhelmed by the information.

So are there any alternatives?

Alternatives to Stack That Money

If you are looking for a community and a place to learn from other affiliate marketers then you don’t have to pay $99 a month to find one.

Simply put… it has everything you need to go from someone that knows nothing about affiliate marketing, to a successful affiliate marketer.

Or you can watch an insiders video I made that explains exactly how it works here.

What does Affilorama do?

Affilorama is an online portal that offers legitimate affiliate marketing training to new and intermediate affiliate marketers.

It is completely free to join and you can get access to a lot of training for free.

There are some upsells (see the upsell section later in this Affilorama review) that you can opt-in for after you try the portal out.

Sounds pretty good, right?

It’s important to be aware that there are some other similar courses to this that exist such as:

They all provide you with a holistic overview of affiliate marketing, without digging into one specific area in detail.

Well, let’s dig in a bit more.

What’s Inside Affilorama?

On the free membership, you get access to 75 video lessons with text underneath it.

The 8 sections are:

  • Introduction
  • Market research
  • Content creation
  • Site building
  • Marketing ideas
  • SEO
  • PPC (Pay per click)
  • Affiliate outsourcing

Each section has numerous videos going into more detail.

Here is an example of the type of training you will receive.

As you can see, there are some great tips in the training. You can get started for free with Affilorama right here to check out the rest of the 75 free training.

If this is starting to sound too good to be true, then you’re probably thinking…

Is Affilorama a Scam?

There are two main ways an online course can be a scam:

  1. Take your money and run off into the sunset, never to be heard from again
  2. Provide some information but it doesn’t live up to their promises

As you receive all of this content for free and there are no “wild claims” given by Affilorama, you can see it is not a scam.

However, you are about to learn in this Affilorama review whether the training is worth your time.

Hey, I’m Mike.

I created a passive income online within a year. I had no marketing skills or online experience when I started.

Monthly Costs

You might also need to use other tools such as:

As you can see it’s not as straightforward as paying a one off payment and then you’ll make money! There is a huge cost that you need to spend on that many don’t know.

And the strategies being taught are getting harder and harder as the market becomes more saturated.

Affilorama: The Good

Here are some of the things I like about Affilorama…

#1 Free Training

Who doesn’t love something for free?

There are some great tips in here if you are a complete beginner and it can help you get set up with affiliate marketing, without spending any money.

Affilorama Free Training

Although there is a lot of content in here, it’s important to take note that some of it is outdated and not best practice in 2020 and beyond.

We’ll get more into this later in this Affilorama review…

#2 Hosting Included for 1 Year in Certain Packages

An ongoing cost for any affiliate marketer will be the hosting for their website.

This will cost a minimum of $75 per year (Bluehost is the most cost-effective method I have found for hosting).

Affilorama Hosting

So if you do upgrade to certain packages you can offset this cost.

Again, this will be covered in more detail under the upsell section soon.

#3 60-Day Money-Back Guarantee

Not only do they guarantee your money back if you just don’t like the course for the first 60 days…

But they also will give you an extra $100 if you can prove that you tried their paid products without any success.

Affilorama money back guarantee

This shows they are confident in the services that they offer.

#4 Legit Business Model

Affiliate marketing is a legit way to make money online.

This has been something I have personally discovered over the past few years.

WA Affiliate Marketing 4 step Process

Check out my chat with Ben and Jeff from Dollarsprout you can find out how they went from $0 to over $240,000 per month within 3 years using affiliate marketing.

Affilorama: The Not So Good

If you’re like me you are probably interested in this part of this Affilorama review.

Every program has some downsides.

But there are some important things to be aware of inside Affilorama before you dive in…

#1 Poor Members Support & Engagement

A huge factor in the success of any business is the support, coaching and mentorship they receive.

This is even truer in affiliate marketing, especially if you are brand new to it.

Affilorama support

However, in the forum inside the paid area, you can see some questions take days, weeks or even months to get answered.

There’s sometimes a little question you will need answering straight away and a good support network is crucial for this.

Affilorama doesn’t have that.

#2 Upsells

Not all upsells are bad, but it’s important to be aware of them before you expect to get everything for free.

So here they are:

Upsell 1. Pathway to Passive- $37

It’s a PDF ebook that will teach you:

  • How to find profitable niches and products (doesn’t the free training do this?)
  • How to attract the right people (ditto)
  • Ways to convert visitors into buyers
  • How to create content that attracts links

Note that if you buy this within 7 days of joining the free membership it’s only $19.

Affilorama upsell

Upsell 2. AffiloTheme- $97

There are loads of free themes on WordPress that you can use. Many people recommend buying a “premium theme” to help your website look better.

Some people swear by it, others say it’s unnecessary.

To be honest your content is far more important initially and you can get more affordable good quality themes than this.

Affilorama upsell

Upsell 3. AffiloBlueprint- $199 Total

To be honest this just seems like the free version with a members forum. But I’m guessing the training is a bit better otherwise what are you paying for?

It costs $1 for the first 14 days then you will be billed $66 for 3 months = $199 overall.

You then get lifetime access to it for no additional costs.

There are no extra bonuses just more training (kind of makes the free stuff pointless!)

A red flag for me though is that if some of the training is already outdated on the free version, chances are it’s not much better on the paid membership.

Upsell 4. AffiloTools- $17-$97 per month

The tools include:

  • A deeper dive into your rankings
  • Competition analysis
  • Find backlink opportunities
  • Health check of your website

As you can see you get the basic package for one website for free. You pay to get more websites and keywords to track.

Affilorama upsell

Upsell 5. AffiloJetpack- $997

From what I have seen of Affilorama, this is the ONLY part of it that seems worthwhile.

However, it comes at a cost… literally.

It does some impressive-sounding features such as:

  • 90 emails of 500 words
  • 3 reports of 10,000 words
  • 3 eBook graphics (combine this with your reports to make great freebies or even a paid item)
  • AffiloTheme (as above)
  • Web hosting (you will spend at least $75 for one year i.e. Bluehost)
  • Website set up
  • Research is done for content
  • 18 profitable niches to choose from

Personally, I think this may be a good option if you already have some knowledge and a bit of success from affiliate marketing.

If you are brand new and don’t know if you even want to do affiliate marketing, the price tag is pretty steep and you won’t actually learn the foundations of affiliate marketing.

Affilorama upsell

#3 Questionable Backlink Practices & Use of PLR

Getting artificial backlinks is specifically against Googles terms and conditions.

If you are using private blog networks to get links to your website it will harm it in the long run.

Yes, getting organic links is harder and will take longer but at least your website will keep growing over time and won’t get penalised by Google.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6AQpIJxo6ig

The above video also whos you a training video about using Private Label Rights content.

It is a legit method of getting content but as they say, you are advised to change at least 50% of it if you put it online. Therefore, paying for someone else’s content if you plan to put it on your website is a massive waste of money.

Use it to grow your list or put in emails is fine.

However, you will get penalised heavily if you have duplicate content on your website.

#4 Creator Not Involved

Mark Ling is the real deal.

He’s put together some good training that anyone can learn from for free.

But he’s not really active in the community or anywhere inside Affilorama any more.

Mark Ling Affilorama

This just shows what he really thinks about the training and product now, he’s moved onto bigger and better things.

This leads onto…

#5 Outdated Content

Most people think… if it’s free that can’t be a bad thing.

Wrong!

You will actually be taught some pretty terrible things for how to set up an affiliate marketing business in 2020 and beyond.

For example, the “how to build a website” lesson suggests using Adobe Dreamweaver & HTML.

https://youtu.be/0TneBBB9Qa4?t=41
Affilorama outdated training

Whilst this may have been a great way to do things in 2005, it is without a doubt way better to use WordPress in 2020.

There are thousands of themes and plugins you can use to make your website faster, easier to design and just overall it’s way more user-friendly.

You could find months of time wasted by following this one piece of terrible advice.

Ready to make passive income online?

I’ve made a special video for you to explain exactly how I did this.

Make Time Online Income

My Opinion – Affilorama

If you are a total beginner with affiliate marketing, you will be able to learn the basics for free.

The 75 free training videos have some great tips and ideas in there. In fact, even an experienced affiliate marketer will find something in the training that will help as a refresher or a slightly new approach.

Just be aware some of it is outdated and certainly don’t use Dreamweaver to set up your website (unless you can code or are a massive “techie”)!

Sign up for Affilorama for free here.

Whilst the program is legit it’s certainly missing a few things and there are better options out there to learn about affiliate marketing.

Is There An Alternative?

In 2018 I had no idea what affiliate marketing was.

Is Norwex a Scam? An Unbiased Review on This MLM Opportunity

Chances are someone has either tried to sell you some Norwex products or recommended joining the team as a consultant. Now you're wondering, is Norwex a scam?

You're probably looking for a way to make legit money from home. How do I know?

Because I've been in your shoes before when I nearly joined another MLM company.

Whilst it is certainly possible to make money through multi-level-marketing (MLM) companies, many people have their reservations about joining them. Norwex promises to be different.

This unbiased review, with videos, will show you if Norwex is a scam and exactly what it takes to be a successful consultant.

Norwex Review

The overview and rankings

Name: Norwex

Founder: Bjørn Nicolaisen in 1994 in Norway

Type: Cleaning MLM

Price: $200 to get started (free if you sell $2,000 in 90 days) + $250 sales quota for 3 months

Norwex Pros

  • Upward trend

  • Focus on selling

  • Positive product reviews

Norwex Cons

  • Controversial science

  • Expensive products

  • Hidden costs

  • Outdated sales techniques

  • Not honest

Make Time Online Rating: 40 out of 100

What is Norwex?

Norwex is a network marketing (aka MLM) company that focuses on selling eco-friendly cleaning products.

Most famous for the microfibre cloths that supposedly don't require anything other than water to clean 99% of bacteria.

The aim is to create a completely chemical-free household with their cleaning products as you can see in the short video below...

You can see from the screenshot above that Norwex has a bit more to it than just selling fancy cloths.

It's also possible to create a home business for yourself by becoming a consultant.

So let's dig into Norwex a bit more...

Is Norwex a Pyramid Scheme?

Norwex is not a pyramid scheme. It's possible for conultants to earn money by selling the products without recruiting anyone else.

However, the way that most consultants make money is by recruiting a big "downline". This makes it similar to a "pyramid scheme in disguise"...

What is a pyramid scheme?

A company that promises payment to members for recruiting more people into the company rather than selling a product or service.

The Wikipedia diagram below proves that it is impossible for everyone to make money inside these schemes...

Norwex does sell legit products.

However, the real money is made when consultants recruit more people into the MLM. The 5 minute video below explains how to watch out for these kinds of pyramid schemes...

Ready to make passive income online?

Hey, I'm Mike.

I created a passive income online within a year. I had no marketing skills or online experience when I started.

Mike Beatty

Norwex Product Line

There are loads of products sold by Norwex including:

  • Bathroom cleaning products
  • Towels
  • Laundry detergent
  • Toothbrush & deodorant
  • Microfibre cleaning cloths
  • And more...

You can find all the products available in the Norwex shop here.

But the big stand out feature is certainly the microfibre cloths that promise to remove 99% of bacteria when following the proper care and instructions, without any chemicals.

Img: Healthy home cleaning

Now it's great to know about the products but I'm guessing you are probably here to learn a bit more about the MLM opportunity.

Also take note that there are a number of other MLMs that are selling similar products and have near the same earning process as Norwex. These are:

So let's find out a bit more about how that works...

Norwex Compensation Plan

Here are some of the most important facts and numbers I'm sure you're dying to find out:

  • It costs $200 to purchase the starter kit. They claim it's free but you need to sell $2000 worth of product within 90 days (this is very hard FYI!)
  • You earn 35% discount off your personal sales (great if you love cleaning!)
  • You need to submit $250 of sales in one calendar month to count as an engaged consultant
  • If you get 3 "engaged" consultants that join from your recommendation (aka your downline) then you start earning a commission from them too (the percentages increase with more team members engaged)

I won't go into too much detail here as it gets pretty confusing when listed like this. This cool YouTube video sums it up pretty well though and you can view the whole package on this PDF...

Here's the truth.

The microfibre cloth costs around $20 if you sell it as a consultant. That means you need to sell around 13 of these every month.

The thing is... the cloths are long-lasting so you will unlikely have recurring purchases for these. Of course, some other products like deodorant and toothbrushes need replacing, but how easy do you think it is to sell 13 cloths every month from holding a "home party"?

You're pretty much being recommended to invite friends and family over to clean in front of them and try to sell it to them.

There are only so many friends you'll be able to invite over until people become fed up with it.

Now, I can almost hear your mind saying...

Is Norwex a Scam?

No, Norwex is not a scam. But it certainly isn't the best opportunity to set up a home business.

There are two main ways an online course can be a scam:

  1. Take your money and run off into the sunset, never to be heard from again
  2. Provide some information but it doesn't live up to their promises

Norwex has a strong focus on selling the products and the products are pretty good. They don't boldly claim to make you financially free or able to earn $1000's a month from home.

So as you can see Norwex is not a scam.

As you continue to read this Norwex review you will find out whether it is a good program for you to join to make money from home.

Common positive reviews

Here are some of the positive reviews we had from Trust Pilot...

  • "In my opinion the quality is amazing, some of the cleaning products are mind blowing and I am still stunned that you only have to use water with their cloths and mops."
  • "Had also purchased their detergent and whilst no fragrance lasted ages with fantastic results."

Common negative reviews

And here are the common negative reviews...

  • "This company appears to be a multi-level-marketing company. 99% are found to be scams perpetuated on their consultants."
  • "Despite my desire to JUST get some washcloths, I was assigned a 'consultant'. I had no choice if I wanted to make the purchase."

Just to be fully transparent with you, I have not joined Norwex myself and I do not endorse it in any way.

I have researched the website, testimonials and information on the Internet to get to the bottom of what this program genuinely does. This is because I have been burnt from programs just like this in the past and I want to prevent others from making the same mistakes. If you’d like to learn more “Ways to Spot an Online Marketing Scam” then click the highlighted text.

Tired of MLMs? Check out how I make money online here!

Norwex: The Good

Here are some of the things I like about Norwex...

#1 Upward trend

It's much easier to sell someething that people are looking for. You can see  on Google Trends that more and more people are searching for Norwex each month...

 Is Norwex a scam

Farmasi is one of the fastest growing MLM's I've seen in the USA and Norwex is still ahead of them.

#2 Focused on Products

Norwex is not a pyramid scheme.

This also helps to prove that Norwex isn't a scam.

A pyramid scheme is where the company only pays the customers if they refer other people to join the company as a consultant.

The focus of Norwex is completely on selling the products.

Is Norwex a scam?

Even the website is totally designed to show off their products.

This is always a great sign for an MLM company.

#3 Generally Good Feedback From the Cloths

You can check Amazon or any reviews online.

It's very hard to find bad reviews for the products. The majority of 1-star reviews on Amazon are because people feel like they didn't receive Norwex cloths.

This is another great sign considering you would have to sell these products if you become a consultant.

Norwex: The Not So Good

If you're like me. then you've probably just skipped to this part or are excited to see some of the not so obvious points about joining Norwex as a consultant.

So here are some of the bad parts of Norwex that you should be aware of and helps to answer is Norwex a scam...

#1 Does The Cloth Really Remove 99% of Bacteria?

This is debatable but there is some evidence online that these genius cloths may not be as good as people claim.

Norwex cloth review

This review on Amazon is from someone that carried out his own research after his wife started using the cloths.

He found there were more bacterial colonies found in the Norwex cloth than a regular cloth.

Maid Pro gives a more detailed answer about what microfiber cloths can and can't do. For example, if there is a heavily soiled surface there's not much the microfibre cloths can do.

Personally I have looked into the science and I'm fairly sure the microfibre cloths would be great for day to day cleaning of surfaces etc.

BUT... only if you care for the cloth properly i.e. wash them and leave them to dry every day.

You have to use a bit of common sense though... hard water stains and soap scum that are stuck onto a surface will probably need something a bit stronger to remove them!

#2 Expensive Products

There is an important disclaimer to make first...

You can buy the products cheaper from a consultant than you can on Amazon or other places.

I guess this an incentive for people to become consultants as they can offer better prices.

Over $40 for a Norwex cloth
Norwex Review
A range of microfibre cloths for under $20

However, even with the discount, you can find equivalent products for much cheaper.

Obviously, every cloth is different. But the majority of people would likely take the cheaper option if they had the choice.

#3 Hidden expenses

Here are some interesting facts:

  • In order to stay active, you need to sell $250 worth of products every 3 months.
  • If you become inactive, you’ll be charged a $20 fee to reactivate your account.
  • And after 12 months without sales, you’re no longer considered a consultant.
Is Norwex a Scam?
Newwaytoclean.com

What this means is you are encouraged to buy products (from yourself) to reach this quota every month.

This can lead to stockpiling the products and leave you looking like this...

...Or drowning in debt.

#4 Outdated Sales Techniques

Let me ask you a serious question...

Have you ever been to one of these "home parties"?

Norwex Parties
Norwex Review

It's really just a posh way of saying... selling stuff to friends, family and random people you meet out and about.

This is the quickest route to turning every relationship you have into "dollar signs in your eyes" and just completely fake.

This is not the way that people sell, or buy things in the 21st century.

Home selling parties are becoming obsolete.

#5 Not Open and Honest

The starter kit is totally deceiving.

It sounds like you can get a free starter kit to get up and running. But the small print says this...

Norwex starter kit

Basically, you need to sell $2,000 worth of products in the first 90 days or you will be charged $200.

Why can't they say... it costs $200 unless you have a lot of friends and family that you'll be able to sell this stuff too?

There is also nowhere on the website that links you to the compensation plan. You have to dig around for it.

Plus, it's so confusing that no one really understands what they are getting into until they've spent a few thousand dollars keeping their membership alive.

Ready to make passive income online?

I've created a growing passive income online with no previous marketing skills or online experience...

I've made a special video for you to explain exactly how I did this.

MTO Income

My Opinion - Norwex

I believe Norwex is a legit company that has created some great products to help reduce the chemicals in your house and help the environment.

However, I do not think it's a good strategy to make a business from home.

The monthly sales quota you need to hit is pretty high just to stay as a consultant and the sales methods you are taught are becoming obsolete.

MLM programs tend to have a pretty terrible track record with over 90% of people losing money from them.

There is so much more competition for these kinds of products in the market that people can do a quick Google search and find alternatives for a cheaper price and the same quality.

If you are interested in joining still then have a look on YouTube for some reviews as you will need to be referred from a consultant.

Joining with an experienced consultant with a track record is always a good idea with any MLM business so they can show you the ropes.

Is There an Alternative to MLM Companies?

It wasn't that long ago that I was still trying to figure out how people make money online.

The biggest issue I had was finding a legit opportunity that suited me...

  1. I needed work on it part-time (I was still in a full-time job)
  2. Didn't cost a fortune to start and maintain (my wife would have killed me if I spent our travel money on a junk course!)
  3. Didn't need me to sell stuff to my friends and family (I like them too much)

It was in September 2018 that I found Wealthy Affiliate through someones honest online review... it took me a while to learn what to do to build an  online  business.

But I went from a full time PE teacher to making a passive income online within one year...

Summary: doTERRA is an MLM company that specialises in selling essential oils. It is possible to make money as an MLM distributor but most people fail.

Most doTERRA distributors end up having to buy lots of essential oils each month to "remain active" and cannot recruit anyone to join their "downline".

In reality the only way to make good money is by recruiting a large downline that can earn bonuses for you by selling. This makes doTERRA similar to a "pyramid scheme in disguise".

What is doTERRA?

doTERRA is a health and wellness Multi-Level-Marketing company that specialises in selling essential oils.

It was founded in 2008 by a lot of people including some former Young Living executives.

You will hear different reasons as to why they did this, but I can tell you it's because they realised the people that really benefit from MLM companies are those that own them... not work in them!

But, of course doTERRA offers everyday people an opportunity to work from home by selling these products!

The 4 minute video below explains more about the doTERRA story...

So you may be starting to think that this seems like a great opportunity!

But you're smart enough to realise this is just a sales video from doTERRA.

So, you're probably still wondering...

Is doTERRA a pyramid scheme?

No, doTERRA is not a pyramid scheme because their distributors can earn money by selling the products without recruiting people.

To be honest this is pretty standard for any MLM company.

A better question to ask would be...

Is doTERRA a "pyramid scheme in disguise"?

What is a pyramid scheme?

A company that promises payment for members to recruit more people  rather than sell any product or service

These are illegal in almost every country.

It's impossible for every member to make money inside a pyramid scheme as you can see in the Wikipedia diagram below...

doTERRA does sell legit products that people use. So it's certainly not a pyramid scheme as their distributors can sell these products and make some money.

However, the truth is that it is very hard to earn any good money ($1,000+ a month) just by selling these essential oils.

The only way people can realistically "be their own boss and work from home" is by recruiting people. This means doTERRA is very similar to a "pyramid scheme in disguise".

The 5 minute video below explains exactly how to spot these companies...

Success is rare with doTERRA

In fact, it's hard to find success inside any MLM company.

Between 73% and 99% of all MLM representatives lose money. These are just facts from extensive studies!

MLM FTC Fact Stat

doTERRA has released previous income disclosures of their members earnings.

They do a great job of making it seem like most people earn a lot of money.

However, when you actually digest the words in the statement you can work out that 99% of members earn less than $1,250 a year. And 64% of distributors did not earn a penny from doTERRA.

This doesn't take into account their expenses either!

I will show you these workings out later in this doTERRA MLM review but for now let's figure out...

How does doTERRA Work?

doTERRA "rents" out farms around the world in over 40 countries. These farms grow the ingredients that doTERRA uses for most of their products and their essential oils.

But rather than doTERRA needing to spend tons of money on marketing and advertising they get everyday people to help do that for them.

In return these everyday people can earn commission and bonuses for selling doTERRA's products or recruiting people to help sell these products.

So in theory, it works like a win-win!

doTERRA products

If you are serious about starting any MLM company then you will need to understand the products they offer first.

doTERRA offers a wide range of products within the following categories:

  • Essential oils
  • Personal care
  • Supplements
  • Diffusers
  • Accessories
doTERRA essential oils

There are too many products to go into detail about all of them here, but you can find them all in the doTERRA shop

It is also important to be aware that there are other MLM companies that offer a very similar range of products like:

So what makes doTERRA stand out?

doTERRA Essential Oils- flagship product

doTERRA's main products are their essential oils...

And you can use essential oils in different ways:

  • Diffuse the oils
  • Massage onto the skin
  • Add to food for taste
doTERRA essential oils

There are many benefits of using essential oils including:

  • Reduced stress and anxiety
  • Helping headaches and migraines
  • Improving sleep and insomnia
  • Reduce inflammation
  • Antibiotic

There is more and more research to back up these benefits, but more testing on humans is still needed.

One of the huge selling points for doTERRA is the “Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade” (CPTG) testing process:

Without an accepted standard for essential oil quality, doTERRA created its own testing process, calling it CPTG Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade®. The CPTG process certifies that there are no added fillers, synthetic ingredients, or harmful contaminants in their essential oils that would reduce their efficacy. doTERRA even goes a step further, putting all their products and the packaging through a battery of tests to ensure a long and effective shelf-life. This protocol ensures potency, purity, and consistency batch to batch.

However, there has also been some controversy surrounding their products.

In 2014, doTERRA received a warning from the FDA for making some pretty outrageous claims about using essential oils, such as curing the Ebola virus and cancer!

But to give credit to doTERRA, they quickly released a do’s and don’ts list for their distributors to abide by!

You can learn more about the essential oils in the 2 minute video below...

Can you really make money selling doTERRA?

It is clearly very hard to make good money by only selling doTERRA products.

The few people that do make good money as a distributor are more like sales recruiters and managers that have an extroverted personality. They constantly add new people to their "downline".

Their income disclosure proves that the vast majority of people lose money as a doTERRA distributor.

How can you make money selling doTERRA?

There are 2 ways that distributors can make money at doTERRA:

  1. Sell the products for a commission
  2. Recruit people and earn bonuses from the products they purchase or sell

doTERRA and most MLM companies are not outright pyramid schemes exactly because of point 2.

You do not get paid directly for recruiting people as a distributor.

You get "bonuses" for the sales your downline makes.

How much does it cost to join doTERRA?

It costs $35 to join doTERRA as a distributor. And it costs $25 a year to renew this membership.

doTERRA MLM review

you're probably thinking that's pretty good to start a "business"!

But the costs do not stop there...

doTERRA monthly cost

To be eligible to receive commissions and bonuses from the sales you and your team make you actually need to hit a monthly "sales quota"...

Can you really make money selling doTERRA?

This is 50 PV (personal volume), which is around $50 worth of products. It increases to 100 PV as you "rank up".

If you cannot sell $50 worth of essential oils or other doTERRA products each month you will need to personally purchase the products to have a chance of "being your own boss next month".

In reality, most people cannot sell anything at the start.

So they spend at least $50 a month on essential oils.

Minimum expenses to allow for year 1:

  • $35
  • $50 x 12

Total cost for year 1 = $635

It's clearly much cheaper than starting a bricks and mortar business like a restaurant, but it's more than just spending $35 to start a business!

And this is before you include any other costs, such as marketing or training that you probably will need to learn to actually sell anything!

doTERRA compensation plan

For some reason most MLM companies make their compensation plan harder to understand than solving a rubik's cube blindfolded.

doTERRA is no different.

So I will try to keep this simple... there are 4 ways that you can get paid from doTERRA:

  1. Retail bonus (25% commission)
  2. Fast start bonus (20% on anyone you enroll, 10% on anyone they enroll and 5% of anyone they enroll for your first 60 days)
  3. Power of three bonus (recruit 3 people that maintain 100 PV you get a $50, if you help your 3 in your front line do the same thing you get $250, if they do the same thing you get $1,500 bonus)
  4. Unilevel bonus (2-7% for 7 levels deep... see diagram below)
doTERRA MLM review- is doTERRA a pyramid scheme scam

Is it just me or is that diagram above just ridiculous?

You honestly don't need to understand all of this to start. The reason most MLM companies do this is to make it seem like there are tons of ways for you to earn money.

The reality is that you can only do 2 things to make money:

  • Sell products
  • Recruit people

And do you notice that 3 out of the 4 ways you earn money involves recruiting? Plus, you can ONLY make "residual income" from recruiting people!

The 5 minute video below explains the compensation plan in more detail if you want to get your head around it...

Or you can find the full 3 page doTERRA compensation plan here.

Is doTERRA a scam?

doTERRA is not a scam.

They sell legit products and pay their distributors exactly like they say they will.

Some people claim that most MLMs are scams as only a select few can make money due to the recruiting nature that makes them similar to a "pyramid scheme in disguise".

However, there are also some important skills people can learn from an MLM company if they company is set up well and with good ethics.

The rest of this doTERRA MLM review will help you make an informed decision if the company is right for you or not...

Just to be fully transparent with you, I am not a distributor myself and I do not endorse doTERRA in any way.

I have researched the website, testimonials and information on the Internet to get to the bottom of what this program genuinely does. This is because I have been burnt from programs just like this in the past and I want to prevent others from making the same mistakes. What I like about doTERRA

There are some things that make doTERRA stand out compared to other MLMs that exist...

Key Terms:

  • Pyramid Scheme – recruits members via a promise for payment from referring others to the service rather than providing a product
  • Affiliate Marketing- Connecting a customer to a product they are looking for and receiving a commission for doing so
  • Red Flag - A warning sign

#1 Still got momentum

You can see that people are still increasing their searches for doTERRA on Google every month...

doTERRA momentum

It's safe to say this is plateauing when you compare it to other MLMS like Farmasi

But it's much easier to sell an MLMs products or get people interested in joining the company if more and more people are finding out about it each month.

Some of the older MLM companies will be more established but it does mean it will be much harder to find potential people to recruit.

#2 Essential oils backed by science

There is more and more scientific research for the benefits of essential oils. You can see the journals and research for all of the following benefits below:

People are coming around a lot more to "natural and organic" practices. More and more people are discovering essential oils every year (I remember a friend showing me them in 2018 for the first time!)

That spells opportunity for this type of industry!...

But will it last?

#3 Healing hands charity

doTERRA contributes to their charity healing hands...

doTERRA MLM review- is doTERRA a pyramid scheme scam

Donating to a charity is better than no charity even if some people are sceptical about the reasons behind why doTERRA does this

Is it just for publicity or not? Personally I don't care... I think every company should give back!

What I don't like about doTERRA

Here are some of the hidden truths about joining doTERRA.

Many distributors find out these things too late after they have lost hundreds of dollars...

#1 Expensive products

This is always a big red flag for me...

doTERRA essential oils
Amazon essential oils
doTERRA MLM review- is doTERRA a pyramid scheme scam
  • doTERRA avg essential oil = $2.13 per ml
  • Amazon highly rated essential oils = $0.29 to $0.58 per ml

doTERRA's essential oils are 300% to 800% more than similar products with very good ratings!

The question you really need to ask is...

"Who would buy something that is 300%+ more expensive?"

Here's your answer...

#2 Hidden monthly expenses

The people that end up being doTERRA's biggest customers are the doTERRA distributors...

Can you really make money selling doTERRA?

You have to sell $50+ worth of essential oils each month.

The majority of distributors just won't be able to do that! Sure their Mom or best mate might buy an essential oil or two to support you.

But after a while they will start to become a bit miffed (English word for annoyed) at you pestering them to buy more.

That means if you want the chance of "being your own boss" then you will need to stump up the costs for those months that people do not buy anything!

You, as the distributor, become the biggest doTERRA consumer!

Still don't believe me?

Just check out the price of the 2 MLM companies compared to the other "best Amazon Choices"...

#3 Is doTERRA a pyramid scheme in disguise?

I really like the way that doTERRA tries to disguise this in their compensation plan video...

doTERRA MLM review- is doTERRA a pyramid scheme scam

By turning it upside down it's impossible to tell what shape that is right?

Well, the truth is to make any decent money from doTERRA you have to recruit people!

Remember, any company that requires their members to recruit people is impossible for everyone to make good money inside the company!

This leads onto...

#4 Can you really make money selling doTERRA?... No!

If you earn 25% of a $30 essential oil you've just pocketed $7.50!

To earn $3,000 a month you would have to sell 400 essential oils!... EVERY MONTH

How many friends and family do you have?

The truth is, to make this kind of money YOU HAVE TO RECRUIT!

Then I saw doTERRA's income disclosure and was absolutely amazed at how many distributors were earning at least $27,557 a year...

Can you really make money selling doTERRA?

After actually reading it and realised the above table is only counting the top 1% of distributors!...

76% make less than $375 a year and 23% earn less than $1,250 a year...

Can you really make money selling doTERRA?
Can you really make money selling doTERRA?

And here's the truth...

Getting in the top 1% of doTERRA is no easy feat.

Achieving "Silver" rank requires recruiting at least three other people who are part of a team that sells $3,000+ a month!

In reality, that means you and your team will need to sell upwards of $20,000 worth of doTERRA products every month.

#5 doTERRA doesn't own farms

I think it's great that doTERRA helps other farms around the world by paying them to produce the ingredients they need.

But it does mean that doTERRA loses control.

They have no say in prices or quality of standards.

Here's a 7 minute video explaining the difference between them and their main competitor Young Living (who some of the founders were originally part of)...

Ready to make passive income online?

I've created a growing passive income online with no previous marketing skills or online experience...

I've made a special video for you to explain exactly how I did this.

MTO Income

My opinion - doTERRA

I think they sell some great products and they will pay their distributors like they claim they will.

But what do I think are your chances of making over $1,000 a month from doTERRA?...

It's going to be super hard to make money just by selling doTERRA products.

The only way you will be able to make good money is by recruiting people. And when that is the case it's really just a "pyramid scheme in disguise" and you will need to live with knowing that 99% of the people you recruit will lose money!

How I make passive income online

MLMs are not scams or illegal. However, I'm not a fan of them because of the restrictions to the expensive products you have to promote.

Once I learnt about affiliate marketing, I realised it's a far superior business model because:

  • You can promote anything you want and truly own the business
  • You never need to sell to friends and family
  • It's completely free to start

In 2018 I had no idea what affiliate marketing was.

But I went from a full time PE teacher to making a passive income online within one year...
