So someone has probably introduced B3 Sciences to you as a great way to get in shape quicker and make money at the same time! But you're probably wondering... is B3 Sciences a scam?
First of all I want to congratulate you on doing your research into the company.
The main reason that up to 99% of MLM members lose money is because so many people dive into them before really understanding what they need to do.
This honest B3 Sciences review, with videos, will explain exactly what the pros and cons of joining the company are. This will help you to make an informed decision if joining is right for you.

What to look for in a MLM:
Summary: B3 Sciences offers some exciting "Blood Flow Restriction" Bands that supposedly means you can get the benefits of an intense workout in a much shorter time.
However, the MLM opportunity leaves a lot to be desired. Most people will lose money within the company and the only way you will realistically be able to make good money is by recruiting a lot of people into your "team".

What is B3 Sciences?
B3 Sciences is a health and wellness Multi-Level-Marketing company founded in 2018 by Mike DeBord.
At age 52, Mike was fed up when he found it hard for his body to stay in shape like it used to. This is when he stumbled across a rather unique technique called "Blood Flow Resistance" (BFR) training.
By restricting blood flow to muscles whilst exercising it's supposedly possible to get the effects of an intense workout in half the time.
This is why B3 Sciences motto is:
“Exercise in ½ the Time, with ½ the Work and get Twice the Results!”
But they also offer people the opportunity to "make money from home" by selling these products and recruiting more people into the company.
Watch the 5 minute video below to learn more about this opportunity...
Many people will get excited when they watch this video and hear that they can...
"Making thousands every month".
However, you're smart enough to recognise this is just a promotional video by B3 Sciences. So you're probably still wondering...
Is B3 Sciences a pyramid scheme?
No B3 Sciences is not an outright pyramid scheme. It's possible for distributors to earn money by selling B3 Sciences products.
However, it's very hard for members to make significant money or even cover their costs to run the business unless they recruit people.
This makes B3 Sciences similar to a "pyramid scheme in disguise".
Let me explain what I mean by that...
What is a pyramid scheme?
A company that promises payment to its members for recruiting people into the company rather than selling a product or service.
As you can see in the Wikipedia diagram below, it is impossible for everyone to earn money inside a company structure like this...
B3 Sciences, like most MLMs does offer legit products though.
However, it is hard for distributors to sell enough of these expensive products to make a living. So the only way people can make good money is by recruiting people into their "downline". And this makes B3 Sciences very similar to a pyramid scheme in disguise.
Just watch the 5 minute video below to see what I mean...
Success is rare with B3 Sciences
In fact, it's hard to find success inside any MLM company.
Did you know that between 73% and 99% of all MLM representatives lose money?
B3 Sciences hasn't released an income disclosure statement yet, unlike many MLM companies. They claim it's because they haven't been in business long enough, but some people may argue it's because they have something to hide.
However, just by doing some simple maths you can see that to make any money you will need to sell 20-40 B3 bands every year. These B3 bands sets cost more than $400.
Now let me ask you this...
How many people do you know that would seriously be interested in spending over $400 on a experimental piece of workout equipment?
And this is the exact reason why most people lose money inside B3 Sciences.
How does B3 Sciences Work?
B3 Sciences sells a range of protein shakes and the Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) bands.
But instead of spending a lot of money on marketing and advertising like most companies, they get everyday people to help sell the products for them.
In return these "distributors" can earn money by working from home.
So in theory it's like a win-win!
But is it really possible to make money with B3 Sciences?
B3 Sciences products
If you are serious about joining any MLM company then you must learn more about their products as this is what you will be selling.
B3 Sciences has a range of products under the following categories:
- Protein shakes
- Exercise Tubing (exercise workout bands)
- B3 Bands (BFR bands)
- Exercise Guides (teaching how to use the bands)
There are thousands of brands that sell protein shakes. And there are even hundreds of MLMs that offer protein shakes such as:
So what makes B3 Sciences stand out from the crowd?
B3 Sciences B3 Bands- flagship product
Simply put, they sell B3 bands which people can warp around their arms or legs to reduce the blood flow to the muscles exercising. I am yet to find another MLM company that promotes BFR training so it's pretty unique.
However, when nobody else is selling something, there is sometimes a reason why nobody else is doing it!
Here's how the bands work...
The brain realises there is a lack of oxygen supply so releases more growth hormones. These hormones supposedly provide the benefits of an intense workout with much less resistance and less time required. Here are some of the benefits:
- Build muscle mass
- Speeds up weight loss
- Improved energy and feeling younger
- Effects of an intense workout quicker and easier
There is scientific research into BFR training that proves these benefits.
It has even been used by some elite athletes and was originally discovered in the 1960's by a Japanese man, whilst on a Buddhist retreat (he got a dead leg from sitting too long, true story!) However, most studies do suggest that more evidence is required to find out the long term side effects of this training.
We'll dig into this in more detail later, but for now you can learn more about BFR and B3 bands in the 4 minute video below..
Can you make money with B3 Sciences?
It will be very hard to make any money from B3 Sciences.
The technology is still not widely accepted so you'll have to convince people that it's worth trying out initially. Even if you can do that you'll then need to convince them to spend over $400 on the bands on something that you have no guarantee if it has any side effects.
Most people are not willing to take that kind of gamble on their health, especially when it comes with a high price tag.
The few people that will be able to make good money from B3 Sciences will typically be very extroverted people that are good at "selling the dream of being your own boss".
They will then need to act more like a full time sales manager than "their own boss" to encourage their downline to sell and recruit more people.
So it is possible to make money, but you'd need to do so at the expense of other people losing money in the company.
How to make money with B3 Sciences
There are 2 ways to make money with B3 Sciences, like most MLMs:
- Sell products
- Recruit people & earn bonuses from their sales
It's important to notice that you do not get paid to recruit people directly. You only receive bonuses from the sales your "downline" make.
This small difference is why B3 Sciences hasn't been shut down by the authorities.
But because there is a monthly sales quota, it means the more people you recruit the more "residual income" you will receive because they HAVE to sell products to stay active. This is another reason why there is a focus on recruiting instead of selling the products.
How much does it cost to join B3 Sciences?
It costs $39.99 for a year membership and then $4.99 per month after one year.
But you'll also be encouraged to buy a "starter pack"...
This will set you back a further $214.99-$1,038.99 with shipping depending on which pack you choose.
And the costs do not stop there...
B3 Sciences monthly cost
You also need to accumulate 50 PV per month to remain active...
This is why it's recommended you join the monthly "autoship program" when you join so that you can guarantee your account doesn't get suspended.
In simple English this means you'll need to spend $50-$60 per month on protein shakes to ensure you hit your sales quota.
So the total costs for your first year will be at least:
- $39.99
- $214.99-$1,038.99
- $50 x 12
Total cost for 1 year = $854.98- $1,678.98
And this is before you allow for any marketing, postage and packaging or additional training costs.
B3 Sciences compensation plan
For some reason most MLMs love to make their compensation plan harder to understand than solving a Rubik's cube blindfolded. And B3 Sciences in no different.
So I will do my best to keep this simple. There are 5 ways you can get paid from B3 Sciences:
- Retail commissions (10-20% commission)
- First order team bonuses (1-15% bonus on your recruits first order)
- Siding bonus (If your downline reaches the same rank as you, you get additional 1% bonus)
- Network commissions (3-5% bonus of your downlines sales- 8 levels deep)
- Leader pools (extra 2% of total company sales distributed to ranks)
If you're still confused what any of that means and wondering what that table is going on about do not worry! MLMs love to use weird acronyms and terms to make it seem like there's loads of ways for you to make money.
The simple truth is there are only 2 things you can do to make money:
- Sell products
- Recruit people
And do you notice that 4 out of 5 ways to get paid requires you to recruit people?
If you want to get your head around the compensation plan a bit more then check out the 11 minute video below...
Or you can find the full B3 Sciences compensation plan here.
Is B3 Sciences a scam?
No B3 Sciences is not a scam.
They sell legit products and will pay their members just like they claim they will.
However, some members may get annoyed by the false promises and misleading claims once they realise they are losing money each month. This may mean they call the company a scam.
But the rest of this review will help you see the hidden truths of the company so that you can make an informed decision if it's right for you or not...
Just to be fully transparent with you, I am not a distributor myself and I do not endorse B3 Sciences in any way.
I have researched the website, testimonials and information on the Internet to get to the bottom of what this program genuinely does. This is because I have been burnt from programs just like this in the past and I want to prevent others from making the same mistakes. What I like about B3 Sciences
OK, there is one thing that I genuinely like about B3 Sciences compared to some other MLMs...
Key Terms:
- Pyramid Scheme – recruits members via a promise for payment from referring others to the service rather than providing a product
- Affiliate Marketing- Connecting a customer to a product they are looking for and receiving a commission for doing so
- Red Flag - A warning sign
#1 Positive product reviews with some scientifically proven bands
It's actually really hard to find ANY reviews online about B3 Sciences. And the few that I did find are clearly from distributors so you need to take this with a pinch of salt...
However there really are study's that exist about this BFR training.
B3 Sciences offers a unique product that stands out from the crowd and if this "science" ever catches on with the public it could be positioned to be a great opportunity. However that is a big "if"!
What I don't like about B3 Sciences
There are some hidden truths that you won't find on B3's website or from the person who introduced this to you.
I think it's crucial to actually be aware of this before diving in as at least you will have your eyes open!
#1 Expensive products
When a MLM has overpriced products it's a big red flag that the company may be "pyramid scheme in disguise".
This is because focus is clearly more on recruiting than selling good affordable products!...
- B3 Protein shake = $4.29 per shake
- Amazon Protein shake = $1.25 per shake
So Amazon alone has thousands of very highly rated protein shakes. And as B3 Sciences shakes are over 3 times more expensive you'd think they must have much better nutrition, right?...
Nope!
You see this all the time from MLMs, they offer basically the same thing but for a stupidly expensive price. So why does anyone buy this crap?
#2 Hidden monthly expenses
The distributors are the people that are buying these overpriced products!
Why?
Because if they don't join the autoship, they are at risk of losing their account...
This is another reason why MLMs use these weird acronyms. It's hides the truth in plain sight.
Most people just won't understand that table above.
But what it's saying is that if you don't sell $50 of B3 Sciences products every month you will get suspended.
And the only way you can guarantee that won't happen is by joining the monthly autoship for $50-$60 a month!
Therefore, the distributors are B3 Sciences main customers!
#3 B3 Sciences is a pyramid scheme in disguise
When you combine those hidden truths above you can understand why B3 Sciences is a pyramid scheme in disguise.
Anyone that joins the MLM is totally focused on trying to recruit someone else so that they can "pass the buck" onto them.
Just check out the diagram in the compensation plan...
Does it look familiar to you?...
Here's the truth...
When a company is focused on recruiting it always ends up in the majority of distributors losing money.
However, if the company had amazing affordable products that people need then it's possible for everyone to sell enough of those products to make money.
Unfortunately B3 Sciences doesn't have this. And here's the proof...
#4 No interest in B3 Sciences
The final nail in the coffin for B3 Sciences is found on Google Trends...
Nobody is even searching for B3 Sciences and this is a new MLM!
Just check out what typically happens with new MLMs like Farmasi. It's far easier to sell something that people are already searching for!
#5 Not enough science to ignore side effects
There are lots of study's that suggest more research is needed into the long term side effects of BFR training. There are even some pretty strict guidelines for how to train with these bands on...
As you can see this is not something that people can just take lightly. They need to learn how to use the bands otherwise they are putting themselves at risk of injury or worse!
My opinion - B3 Sciences
I'm genuinely quite intrigued by the Blood Flow Restriction technology. It seems interesting and there is definitely some science to back it up (I actually have a Sport Science degree so this actually does interest me!)
However, what do I think about the business opportunity?...
The only way you can make money is by recruiting tons of people into your downline. And you will need to do this knowing that the vast majority of them will lose money.
That's not my idea of an ethical business model!
How I make passive income online
MLMs are not scams or illegal. However, I'm not a fan of them because of the restrictions to the expensive products you have to promote.
Once I learnt about affiliate marketing, I realised it's a far superior business model because:
- You can promote anything you want and truly own the business
- You never need to sell to friends and family
- It's completely free to start
In 2018 I had no idea what affiliate marketing was.
But I went from a full time PE teacher to making a passive income online within one year...
If you want to discover how I did it then check out this special video I created which explains exactly how. You can also get your free 7-day bootcamp to get started.
