Fender is currently serving as the CEO and president of the company while Citron acts as their chief marketing officer. Meanwhile, the other founders serve the other top executive positions in the company.
Yoli claims to provide a healthier lifestyle with the help of its all-natural ingredients that are specifically designed to help people lose weight in the safest and most natural way possible.
It’s also worth noting that Yoli is an Aztec term for “to live.” Their main office is in Salt Lake City, Utah, however, they already have thousands of members across the US.

Nope. Yoli isn’t a pyramid scheme. The members of the company are earning money from the sales of their products, and not just merely from recruiting other people.
However, a more fitting question to this is… Is Yoli a pyramid scheme in disguise?
What is a pyramid scheme?
A pyramid scheme is a company, organization, or institution that is paying members whenever they recruit someone. This is the main business model instead of selling actual and legitimate products or services.
Many countries around the globe have already labeled these as illegal as it is just impossible for all of the members to earn a steady income from a company that only pays people for the recruitment that they do.

The members who are making money from this kind of company are those who do nothing but just recruit until they exhaust all the potential members while advertising this alleged “business opportunity.”
But if you were to look at the diagram more closely, you’ll see that it is just impossible for all of the members to make a steady income from this as you’re just going to be running out of members to recruit…

They also offer people an opportunity to work from their own homes with their affiliate program. This enables them to sell products at higher prices, thus, they earn commissions.
In theory, it’s a win-win situation.
But little do they know that Yoli saves millions of dollars because they don’t have to have any marketing campaign as their members are the ones doing all the promotion and advertising instead…

Yes, but it’s hard to make money from Yoli.
But still, there are some that do. It’s just that they work for more than 8 hours a day and treat this as their full-time job, and not a part-time work from home opportunity…
What’s more, is that Yoli doesn’t even have an income disclosure to prove that their members are really earning well!
How to make money with Yoli
There are only 2 ways for you to earn money from Yoli:

- Recruit more members into the company
However, you can only earn bonuses and commissions from your downline’s sales and not from simply recruiting them.

How much does it cost to join Yoli?
You have to pay a number of fees if you’d want to join Yoli:
- $39.95 - A one-time fee for enrolling on their business subscription kit.
- $20 - An annual membership fee
- $9.95 - A monthly fee for subscribing to their marketing website and virtual team office
But it doesn’t end there…

You must maintain 80 PV monthly if you want to stay as an active member.
And here are the costs you are going to incur in your first year…

- $80 x 12
Minimum costs for year 1 = $1,030
Also, take note that the other costs aren’t yet included there such as training and marketing expenses.
Maintaining 80 PV monthly also isn’t enough for you to be considered as an active member because aside from that, you also need to have a minimum of 2 downline members who also maintain 80 PV monthly.
This means that you need to recruit as many downline members as you can so you can assure that you stay active…
Yoli compensation plan
MLMs have complex and complicated compensation plans. But no need to worry on this one as I will be simplifying things up for you.
Yoli is offering its members 4 main ways to earn money:
- Retail Profits - Earn 20% to 30% commission from every product that you sell.
- Fast Start Bonus - Earn a 20% commission once you recruit a new member into the company.
- Refer 3, Get it Free - Get a free Yoli product bundle once you recruit at least 3 members within 1 month.
- Luxury Car Program - Get $600 monthly for your car loan.
Don’t worry if you’re stirred up with all those. Yes, it’s confusing.
And that’s normal for MLMs because they use fancy terms and names so that people and members will think that they’ve got loads of way to earn money even if there are just 2 things they actually need to do.

No. Yoli is not a scam because they are selling legit health products that are effective. They are also paying members exactly as they say.
However, many members are disappointed after a few months of being with the company because they realize that they are just losing instead of earning money due to the sales quota they need to maintain.

Yoli has been around since 2009, which is a good sign that the company has the capabilities to last long and ensure that all its processes and operations are proper.
This is rare knowing that most MLM companies don’t last for more than 5 years.
Yoli also doesn’t have any previous issue with the law, so it’s another good sign that they’re doing just well and won’t shut down any time soon.
#2 Positive product reviews
I checked Google and searched for any reviews about their products, and I’m amazed at the number of product reviews I found.
Here’s one of them…
As you can see, this customer is one of the many that left a positive review of Yoli’s products. This means that their products are indeed effective.
#1 Expensive products
One of the biggest turnoffs for me is that Yoli is selling overpriced products. Just take a look at some of the other brands out there…
You can clearly see that there are a lot of other health and wellness products that are way cheaper and offer the same effects and benefits as Yoli.
#2 Lacks information
Yoli doesn’t have any income disclosure statement. This might be because they don’t want other people to know that their members aren’t making good money. This isn’t a good thing because it shows that the company isn’t that transparent…
#3 Hidden monthly expenses
You need to sell at least 80 PV every month for you to maintain your membership.
This means that you must sell a minimum of $80 worth of products every month for you to stay active.
#4 Is Yoli a pyramid scheme in disguise?
The fact that you need to spend $80 a month just to stay active, shows that there’s something fishy going on here.
And that’s because you need to recruit as many people as you can so that you can avoid this cost… Yes, you can sell products and earn. But you’ll still lose money if you don’t focus on recruitment.
#5 Downward trend
Here is what I found on Google Trends.
The number of people who are searching for Yoli online is decreasing. I also compared it with another notable MLM called Farmasi, and I can say that Yoli is too behind of the competition.
This shows that you are going to have a hard time selling Yoli’s products because not that many people are interested with it.
