What is American Dream Nutrition?
American Dream Nutrition is an Multi-Level-Marketing company that is in the health and wellness industry.
The company was founded by Greg Gunderson back in 2012. I did further research on his professional background, but unfortunately, not much information can be found.
What’s sure, though, is that the company aims to promote healthy living which they say, can be achieved with the help of their specially formulated products.
They also entice others to join the company and become one of their agents who sell their products to other people and earn commissions from it.
Here is a 3-minute video for you to learn more about the company...
Let's move and learn...
Is American Dream Nutrition a pyramid scheme?
No. American Dream Nutrition is not a pyramid scheme.
The members of the company are earning good money by selling products and not solely relying on recruiting people.
Also, a better question to this should be… Is American Dream Nutrition a pyramid scheme in disguise?
What is a pyramid scheme?
A pyramid scheme is a company that promises payment to their members who recruit more people.
This is the priority and main focus instead of selling the company’s products, services, or any offerings.
Countries have also banned these because of the unsustainable business model where members cannot earn money in the long run.
See this Wikipedia diagram to know why this is the case...
Members who are making the most money are those who recruit the most number of people into this supposed business opportunity.
But if you were to give the diagram above a closer look, you can see that it’s impossible for all of the members to earn money in the long run as they are just going to run out of members they can recruit.
Here is a 5-minute video that will show you how you can spot these so-called pyramid schemes in disguise...
But why is...
Success is rare with American Dream Nutrition
It is hard to reach or achieve any success if you’re relying on MLM companies such as American Dream Nutrition.
In fact, a report states that around 72.5% and 99.9% of MLM members are losing money.
This is because MLMs have a sales quota that forces members to sell a certain number of products just so that they can stay active and receive commissions.
If they cannot sell this specific number, then they have to purchase and buy the products for themselves.
Hence, members lose huge money from their own selves before they are able to recruit a single person.
How does American Dream Nutrition Work?
American Dream Nutrition works by selling health and wellness products that provide users with the needed vitamins and minerals that make them more active, energetic, stronger, and generally healthier.
They also have an affiliate program which allows members to buy their products at cheaper prices and sell it at higher retail prices. It surely seems like a win-win situation…
But wait till you know that American Dream Nutrition is able to save huge money because they don’t have to work on any marketing campaign. Their members are the one who does this...
American Dream Nutrition products
If you still like to try your luck and become one of their members, then it’s necessary that you learn their products or much better try them yourself.
But if you can’t do this in the soonest possible way, then just know them as well as the benefits they give.
Here are a few of the best-selling products of American Dream Nutrition:
- ChagaPlus ($59) - It contains Siberian Chaga extracts that have a lot of phytochemicals which makes this s nutritious superfood. A bottle of this contains 60 capsules.
- PureAquaMins ($49) - A water purifier that removes fluoride, chlorine, protozoa, viruses, bacteria, and heavy metals like lead, mercury, and arsenic, that might be on your water. This comes in 2 fl. oz. bottles.
- Wild Shiaga ($49) - It strengthens the immune system, making it more capable of fending off sicknesses. It also serves as an antioxidant that cleanses your body and makes you generally healthier. This also comes in 2 fl. oz. bottles.
It is important that you know that there are hundreds, even thousands of other brands out there that are offering a similar range of health products.
Some of the most popular and successful MLMs that offer similar nutritional supplements are:
All of them are claiming to have a special reason that makes them stand out from the other companies.
They all do this even if they’re all just offering the same opportunity, but just renamed and rebranded products.
Knowing that this is the case, then what makes American Dream Nutrition special?
American Dream Nutrition flagship product
Super Omega 3+6+9 ($55) - It contains Omega 3, 6, and 9, as well as various vitamins and minerals that help improve the overall health, specifically the immune system.
It also provides the needed energy boost for you to be more productive with day-to-day tasks. This comes in a pack containing 90 gel capsules.

So...
Can you make money with American Dream Nutrition?
It is hard to earn and make money from American Dream Nutrition.
There might be a few who make money, but they’re just doing the job for more than 8 hours a day, even more than a full-time sales manager.
They also don’t have any income disclosure which just shows that they don’t want to show other people that their members aren’t making good money.
How to make money with American Dream Nutrition
For you to make some bucks from American Dream Nutrition, you need to do these 2 things:
- Sell their nutritional products
- Recruit members who are going to sell their nutritional products
And take note that the earnings you get aren’t from merely recruiting people, but from the sales of your downlines. This is how they avoid being called as a pyramid scheme...
How much does it cost to join American Dream Nutrition?
There is no subscription fee if you want to become a member.
However, you need to buy their business starter kits which come in 4 different packages.
These are:
- Silver Pack ($54)
- Gold Pack ($89)
- Platinum Pack ($164)
- Pro Pack ($349)
There’s not much information about these, but for me, the best value option here is the Pro Pack.
It might be the most expensive one, but it includes more products than the other choices, so you get more.
American Dream Nutrition monthly cost
Aside from being a member, you also have to secure at least 25 PV monthly.
Doing so makes you eligible for the commissions and bonuses.
Here is a list of your upfront costs for the 1st year:
- $54 to $349
- $25 x 12
Minimum costs for year 1 = $354 to $649
And that still does not include the other expenses you are going to incur such as for the training, food, travel, gas, and miscellaneous costs.
American Dream Nutrition compensation plan
MLMs always make confusing compensation plans, and American Dream Nutrition isn’t exempted from that.
But you don’t have to worry because I’d do my best to simplify things up and make this easily understandable...
Truvision Health offers members 5 ways to make money:
- Retail Commissions - Earn a 70% commission for every product that you sell.
- Recruitment Commissions - Earn $15 to $100 every time you recruit a new member. The value depends on the business starter kit that your recruit has chosen.
- Residual Commissions - Earn 2% to 6% commission from the total sales volume of your downline team.
- Matching Bonus - Earn 20% bonus from the total sales of each of your recruited members.
- Infinity Bonus - Earn a 1% bonus from your 16th generation downline
Here is an 8-minute video about their compensation plan...
Confused? Well, that’s normal.
Most, if not all MLMs use complicated terms, weird acronyms, and fancy names just so that members will think that they can earn through different and varied ways.
Even if there are just 2 things to do:
- Sell their products
- Recruit members into the company

Is American Dream Nutrition a scam?
No. American Dream Nutrition isn’t a scam.
The company is selling real and legit products and also pays the commissions and bonuses of their members exactly as stated in their compensation plan.
But the thing is, their members are disappointed to learn that they lose money because of the sales quota. This is why some members call the company a pyramid scheme or a scam.
The next section of this review will reveal the pros and cons of this MLM so that you can have a clearer mind on what to do next...
Just to be fully transparent with you, I am not a distributor myself and I do not endorse it in any way.
I have researched the website, testimonials and information on the Internet to get to the bottom of what this program genuinely does. This is because I have been burnt from programs just like this in the past and I want to prevent others from making the same mistakes. What I like about American Dream Nutrition
Key Terms:
- Pyramid Scheme – recruits members via a promise for payment from recruiting others into the company rather than providing a product
- Affiliate Marketing- Connecting a customer to a product they are looking for and receiving a commission for doing so
- Red Flag - A warning sign
#1 Nice reputation
The company has been around since 2012.
This means that they’ve been operating for more than 8 years already, which is a good sign that the company will last for a long time.
This is because most MLMs don’t last for more than a year. In this case, American Dream Nutrition has been around for more than 8 years, and with no issues with the authority.
#2 Positive product reviews
I am surprised to see that their products really do work, as what one of their clients say:
As you can see, the user is happy because of the effectiveness of their nutritional supplement.
This is another good sign that you can sell the products to a number of people because of its nice reputation.
What I don't like about American Dream Nutrition
#1 Expensive products
American Dream Nutrition is an overpriced company because of their products’ overpriced prices
Just take a look at this:
As you can see, the other brands are way cheaper, and they’ve also got loads of positive reviews.
This just shows how impractical it is to buy American Dream Nutrition’s products. This also makes it a bit difficult for you to sell them...
#2 Lacks information
American Dream Nutrition doesn’t have any official income disclosure, which is a bit uncommon for MLMs.
I am not sure as to why they don’t have one, but maybe it’s because their members aren’t really earning that good money...
#3 Hidden monthly expenses
You need to sell 25 PV every single month just for you to be active.
PV is an acronym for personal volume, which in other words, is the amount of products you need to sell monthly.
Can’t do that? Then be prepared to face the burden of buying them for yourself. You see where this goes, right?
MLMs do this so that their members will become their biggest customers as they regularly buy their stuff hoping to breakeven with the costs...
#4 Is American Dream Nutrition a pyramid scheme in disguise?
No doubt it is. You need to spend $25 monthly just to stay active. So, how to avoid that? Simple. And that’s by recruiting.
Doing so, transfers the burden of maintaining that expenditure to your recruited members. I know, this isn’t ethical!
#5 Downward trend
I did check Google Trends and here is what I saw...
Based on that graph, you can see that the number of people who are interested in American Dream Nutrition is decreasing.
This means that you are going to have a hard time selling their products...
My opinion - American Dream Nutrition
American Dream Nutrition is a legit company as they sell legit products and pay their members in a legit and proper way.
But the catch is that they’re selling overpriced products.
And their business opportunity?...
The only way to earn is via recruitment. And I mean lots of it!
Also, you continue doing this even if you already know that your recruited members are just going to lose money in the long run. This just isn’t right and sustainable.
There are a lot of other business opportunities out there you can choose from...
How I make passive income online
MLMs are not scams or illegal. However, I'm not a fan of them because of the restrictions to the expensive products you have to promote.
Once I learnt about affiliate marketing, I realised it's a far superior business model because:
- You can promote anything you want and truly own the business
- You never need to sell to friends and family
- It's completely free to start
In 2018 I had no idea what affiliate marketing was.
But I went from a full time PE teacher to making a passive income online within one year...
