Liv International is another Multi-Level-Marketing that is based in Utah and sells health-based natural products.

The company is founded by Jeff Tuttle, a renowned biochemist who has more than 40 years of experience in the medical and scientific field. He is currently the CEO and chief product formulator of the company’s products.

The company markets their products by saying that they help users achieve a better physical, emotional, and mental health. This makes them different from other health and wellness companies.

No. Liv International isn’t a pyramid scheme. This is because their members can earn an income by simply selling their health and wellness products.

They also don’t need to rely solely on recruitment just to earn. But even if that is the case, it’s still worth asking if…

What is a pyramid scheme?

It is a company or an organization that is paying members whenever they recruit someone into the company.

This is the main priority and business model instead of the member selling actual products and offerings.

Most countries have already labeled these as illegal as it is just impossible for all of the members to earn money from a company which is only paying for recruitment.

And though there might be a few members who make money, these guys just do nothing but to recruit people by enticing them to this business opportunity.

But if you were to closely check the diagram, you can notice that it’s just impossible for all of the members to make money as they are just going to run out of people they can recruit later on...

But why is it that...

Success is rare with Liv International

Yes, you read that right. You are going to have a hard time achieving any kind of success when you’re with Liv International, or generally speaking, in any MLM.

In fact, around 72.5% and 99.9% of MLM members lose money.

This is because MLMs have a sales quota which forces members to reach a certain number of sold products monthly for them to stay active and be eligible to receive commissions and bonuses.

If they can’t then they have no choice but to just buy the items for themselves just so that they can stay active.

This results in members losing huge money before they can recruit a single person.

All of these companies say that they are special and that they stand out from the others.

When in reality, they are just offering the same stuff but just in different names, flavors, and branding.

Can you make money with Liv International?

It is hard to earn good money from Liv International.

Although there are some who do make money, they just earn very little, even comparable to minimum wage or worse, even lower.

Some even treat it just like their full-time job, which is a far cry from the part-time business you have been searching for.

They also don’t have any income disclosure to confirm that their members are actually earning good money.

How to make money with Liv International

There are 2 ways you can make money from the MLM. These are by:

• Selling their products
• Recruiting members into the company

And take note that you can only earn bonuses from the sales of your downlines and not by simply recruiting them.

How much does it cost to join Liv International?

In order for you to become a Liv International member, you need to purchase their business starter kits.

These range in price, and is around $150 to $695.

It’s best that you opt for the more expensive one as you can get more from it.

Additionally, you also have to maintain 135 monthly to stay qualified. PV means personal volume or the amount or value of products you need to sell monthly.

Liv International compensation plan

MLMs always have confusing compensation plans. And Liv International is among them. No worries, though, as I’ll make this easy to understand...

Liv International is offering its members 2 main ways to make some bucks:

• Retail Sales - Earn 20% to 30% commission from every product that you sell to customers. This depends based on your rank and level.
• Residual Commissions - Earn 10% to 15% commission every time you recruit a new member and that member purchases their first business starter kit.

Confused? Well, I knew it… That’s normal, though, if you’re going full blast on an MLM as they use complex terms and fancy names so other people will think that there are a lot of ways to make good money.

When the reality is, there are just 2 things to do:

• Recruit members

Is Liv International a scam?

No. Liv International isn’t a scam. The company is selling tested health products that have undergone research and are undoubtedly effective.

However, their members are disappointed to learn that they lose loads of cash every month instead of making money.

This is because of the sales quota that the company has. Hence, they decide to call the MLM as a scam.

The first thing I like about Liv International is that they have been around since 2006.

This is a bit rare knowing that the average MLM only lasts for around 5 years at most. 

In this case, Liv International has been operating for more than 14 years, which is a good sign that they will be around in the future…

I checked what people have to say about Liv International, and here’s what I found…

As you can see, the customers are satisfied with the company’s products as they find it effective in keeping them healthy and improving their overall health.

What I don't like about Liv International

#1 Expensive products

The biggest turnoff I can say about Liv International is that they have expensive products.

#2 Saturated market

The health and wellness niche is already very saturated.

In fact, this is among the most saturated niches next to beauty and cosmetic products.

This means you are going to have a hard time selling the products because you have a lot of competition.

#3 Hidden monthly expenses

You are required to sell 135 PV every month if you want to stay active.

PV means personal volume, which also means that you need to sell $135 worth of Liv International products monthly.

If you cannot, then you have no other choice but to buy the products yourself so you can receive commissions and bonuses.

Little do MLM members know that they are the biggest customer base of MLMs as they regularly buy their stuff hoping to make the big break they dreamed of...

#4 Is Liv International a pyramid scheme in disguise?

You must spend $135 monthly to stay active.

And the only way to avoid that is by recruiting. When you do, you then just have to pass the hassle to your downlines and let them do all the recruiting and reaching of quota.

Yes, I know, that doesn’t just sound right...

#5 Downward trend

I also checked Google Trends about this and this is what I saw…

As you can see, the number of people who are searching for Liv International online is decreasing.

This only means one thing, and that the MLM isn’t any more interesting to people, which also means that you’ll have a hard time selling the products.

My opinion - Liv International

Liv International is selling legit products. They are effective and undoubtedly healthy.

However, they’re just way too overpriced, not to mention that they are not anymore that popular to the people. And what can I say about their business opportunity?...

The fact that the only way to make money is by recruiting people is already a clear sign that there is something wrong with this MLM, especially if you know that majority of your recruited members are just going to lose money.

There are a lot of other business opportunities out there that offer far better opportunities to make money...

How I make passive income online

MLMs are not scams or illegal. However, I'm not a fan of them because of the restrictions to the expensive products you have to promote.

Once I learnt about affiliate marketing, I realised it's a far superior business model because:

• You can promote anything you want and truly own the business
