Summary: Elepreneurs is a health and wellness MLM company. Members can make money by selling the overpriced Elevacity products such as coffee to help people lose weight and feel "happier".

However, it's hard for members to make good money inside the company unless they recruit a lot of people into the MLM. This makes Elepreneurs similar to a pyramid scheme in disguise.

What is Eleprenurs/ Elevacity?

What is Elepreneurs? Elepreneurs is a health and wellness Multi-Level-Marketing company that started in 2017 to promote Elevacity products.

What is Elevacity? Elevacity is a health and wellness company that sells a range of wellness and skin care products that was founded in 2016 by Robert Oblon.

Why are there 2 companies? Elepreneurs started as a way to help market the Elevacity products.

Who is Robert Oblon? This actually helps to answer the above questions... Rob originally was the president of a travel MLM called World Ventures (that I have previously reviewed). It appears he was sued by the company for violating a "non-compete" in 2011.

So he registered a domain name called Elevacity in 2014 as a way to help promote his newer MLM called Travopoly in 2015. Elevacity originally just had a "vacation portal" attached to Travopoly.

But it was around this time that he stumbled across a "revolutionary product" called Meridium that helps to "elevate your health". This caused Rob to "pivot" into the health and wellness MLM industry and the current Elevacity and Elepreneurs was born.

Confused?

Yeah, pretty weird right?

Anyway this stuff doesn't really matter, but so many people get confused around this!

The 3 minute video below explains what Elevacity provides today with their flagship product line "D.O.S.E" (Dopamine, Oxytocin, Serotonin, Endorphin)...

Some people may watch that video and think, "amazing, this sounds like a great opportunity to be part of!"

Well, you're smart enough to realise this is just a sales video by Eleprenuers.

So you're probably wondering...

Is Elepreneurs a pyramid scheme?

Technically no, Elepreneurs is not a pyramid scheme.

It's possible for distributors to make money just by selling Elevactity's products.

However, Elepreneurs is similar to a pyramid scheme in disguise. Let me explain what I mean by this...

What is a pyramid scheme?

A company that promises payment to its members for recruiting more people into the company rather than selling a product or service.

These are illegal in most countries around the world because it is impossible for every member to make money within this company structure.

Just see the Wikipedia diagram below to see why...

Most MLMs, like Elepreneurs/ Elevacity, do offer legit products.

However, when these products are very expensive and there is this focus on members recruiting more people to earn a decent income the company is more like a "pyramid scheme in disguise".

The 5 minute video below explains how some companies "hide behind" their products to get away with this...

Success is rare with Elepreneurs & Elevacity

The truth is that it's hard to find a lot of members making good money inside any MLM.

In fact, research shows that between 73% and 99% of all MLM representatives lose money.

MLM FTC Fact Stat

Elepreneurs has not released any income disclosure statements, unlike most MLMs. They are also not a public company & therefore do not have to share their profit and loss statements.

This means it's hard to tell for sure how many people do make money inside the company.

However, I will dig into what it takes to make a good income later and their income disclaimer reveals that the "average distributor earns between $500-$1,000 a year".

How does Elepreneurs Work?

Elepreneurs is the MLM opportunity that promotes Elevacity's health and wellness products.

The company saves money on marketing and advertising costs by getting every day people to help promote the products.

In return, these everyday people get the opportunity to make money from home. Sort of like a win-win...

Elevacity products

If you are serious about joining any MLM then you must understand what products are on offer and how they work.

Elevacity offers a wide range of health and wellness products in the following categories:

  • Elevate ZEST- weight management and mood enhancer drinks- $55
  • Wellness Functional Beverages- coffee, hot chocolate, coffee with antioxidants- $55-$65
  • Wellness supplements- XanthoMax, Keto creamer, Ionic mineral blend- $55-$65
  • DOSE samples- DOSE experience, coffee box, blister packs $30-$65
  • Wellness Complimentary products- Mug, milk frother- $10-$18
  • Wellness Vitamin Patches- Energy, Sleep, Defense skin patches- $50
  • Skin Care- Eye gel, mud mask, serum- $27-$67

Elevacity products

It's important to realise that there are thousands of companies that offer a very similar product range.

So what makes Elevacity's products unique?...

Elevacity flagship product

The main product at Elevacity is the "Elevate smart coffee"...

Elevacity products

Some of the main benefits of the coffee are:

  • Mental clarity
  • Memory
  • Energy
  • Fat burning

You see these benefits in almost any type of of health and wellness company though so it's important to not get carried away with the "proprietary" claims or "special research".

The best way to tell how good a product really is is always by seeing what real users think. And there's no better place to see that than on Amazon...

Elepreneurs review-min

You can see the reviews are mainly positive, which is a good sign! And the 2 minute video below explains a bit more about the coffee...

Also note that there are other MLM coffees out there that sell the same stuff...

Can you make money with Elepreneurs?

It's very hard for the average person to make money from Elepreneurs.

You can make around 10-30% commission on anything that you sell, but you need to think carefully about how many $50 pots of coffee you can sell to your friends and family each month.

The few people in MLMs that do make good money (over $20k a year) typically recruit a lot of people and act more like a "sales manager" by encouraging and helping their downline to sell more. They are often quite extroverted people who have a bit of a sales background or treat the MLM like a full time job.

Here's the truth that most people won't tell you...

If you're planning on making some money on the side with a few hours work a week you likely won't make any money.

How to make money with Elepreneurs

There are 2 ways you can make money, like in most MLM companies:

  1. Sell Elevacity products
  2. Recruit a downline to get bonuses from anything they buy or sell on

Do you notice that you don't get paid directly for recruiting people? Distributors only earn bonuses from the sales their downline makes. This is how Elepreneurs avoids being called an outright pyramid scheme and being shut down.

Before we dig into the comp plan you're probably wondering...

How much does it cost to join Elepreneurs?

It costs $99 to join as an "independent Elepreneur"...

Is Elepreneurs a scam- starting costs-min
Is Elepreneurs a scam- starter packs-min

You're then encouraged to buy a discounted product pack of either $250 or $500.

These prices are the up to date prices for the 2020's, which changed in mid 2019.

But the costs do not stop there...

Elepreneurs monthly cost

Technically there is no monthly "sales quota" for the reps to reach each month to stay active.

However, you will be encouraged by your "upline" to join the "smartship" plan (because that will get them more bonuses)...

Is Elepreneurs a scam- monthly fees-min

To be totally honest, if you are planning on selling these products, then you should probably use them yourself so you understand them better. And the smartship plan saves you money compared to the regular price.

But it does mean you should probably allow for these expenses within your first year:

  • $99
  • $250-$500
  • $50 x 12

Total costs for year 1 = $949-$1,199.

And these are the costs before you even take into account any extra training, marketing or packaging costs.

Elepreneurs compensation plan

For some reason MLMs like to make their compensation plan harder to understand that solving a Rubik's cube blindfolded.

Elepreneures is no different.

So I will do my best to keep this simple. There are 7 ways to get paid:

  1. Retail bonus (10-30% commission)
  2. Fast start pack bonus (5% on a starter pack your downline chooses)
  3. Customer acquisition bonus (customers that order $80 or more order- enroll 3 = $25, 5 = $50, 7 = $100 bonus)
  4. Unilevel bonus (1-7% for up to 10 levels deep depending on your rank)
  5. Leadership bonus ($400-$1,000 a month for Platinum rank or higher, see table below for how to get there)
  6. Diamond pool (0.5% of total global CV divided by diamond ranks)
  7. Ambassador pool (1.5% of total global CV divided by ambassador ranks)
Is Elepreneurs a scam- compensation plan-min

If you are reading that and getting confused by that table, do NOT WORRY!

MLMs tend to like to use acronyms and weird diagrams and tables to make it seem like there are tons of ways for you to get paid.

The reality is, you can ONLY do two things to make money:

  • Sell products
  • Recruit people

And do you notice that 5 out of 7 ways require you to recruit people?

You can watch the 10 minute video below if you want to get your head around the compensation plan a bit more...

Or you can find the full 15 page Elepreneurs compensation plan here.

Is Elepreneurs a scam?

Technically no, Elepreneurs is not a scam.

They offer legit products and pay members exactly like they say they will.

However, some people argue that you can only make money by recruiting people. Many people claim that this makes the company like a scam and call it out when they don't make any money because they feel that Elepreneurs is like a pyramid scheme in disguise.

The rest of this Elepreneurs review will help you to make an informed decision if it's right for you or not...

Just to be fully transparent with you, I am not a distributor myself and I do not endorse Elepreneurs in any way.

I have researched the website, testimonials and information on the Internet to get to the bottom of what this program genuinely does. This is because I have been burnt from programs just like this in the past and I want to prevent others from making the same mistakes. Tired of MLMs? Check out how I make money online here!

What I like about Elepreneurs

There are a couple of things that I genuinely like about Elepreneurs compared to other MLMs out there...

Key Terms:

  • Pyramid Scheme – recruits members via a promise for payment from referring others to the service rather than providing a product
  • Affiliate Marketing- Connecting a customer to a product they are looking for and receiving a commission for doing so
  • Red Flag - A warning sign

#1 Positive product reviews

When you find real people writing real positive reviews about the products, it's a great sign for any MLM...

Elepreneurs reviews-min

It's easy to find reps posting "out of this world" reviews about the products all over the place online as this is how they make money! But you can tell there were tons of legit reviews like the one above.

It's a great sign that Elepreneurs is not a scam.

#2 Not a binary compensation plan

I won't go into detail about binary, linear (or unilevel) and matrix compensation plans because it's boring!

All you need to know is that binary compensation plans aren't great. Yes, if you have a killer salesman above you in your upline then they will pass the people they recruit to you.

BUT...

It typically causes people to get complacent and doesn't end well (as you will have a "leg" that can't keep up).

Elepreneurs uses a linear compensation plan like this...

Is Elepreneurs a scam-min

It's better than other compensation plans because there's no limit to how many people you can recruit on your level 1. They also have some nice commission structure which encourages people higher up the company to help their downline.

But at the end of the day, it's still focused on recruitment and that is not a good thing, which leads us nicely onto...

What I don't like about Elepreneurs

There are some hidden truths that most people won't realise until they join the company.

If everyone was aware of the truth before joining at least they could be prepared for these challenges...

#1 Expensive products

Any MLM with overpriced products is a BIG red flag that the company is similar to a pyramid scheme in disguise.

It's a sign that distributors will be encouraged to recruit rather than sell products...

Bulletproof coffee-min
is Elepreneurs a scam coffee-min

Elevate coffee = $11.54 per oz

Bulletproof coffee = $1.25 per oz

Another highly rated weight loss coffee is 10 times cheaper than Elevacity! Now, you may be thinking "well what about the amazing benefits of elevacity and the special research blah blah blah..."

Bulletproof coffee ingredients-min

Just look at Bulletproofs 3 benefits at the bottom:

  • All day energy
  • Satisfies hunger
  • Enhances focus

It's pretty much exactly the same as what Elevacity says their coffee does. The reality is it doesn't matter what they say it does, all that matters is if it works or not. And Bulletproof has 4.5 stars compared to Elevacity's 3.9 stars!

Just think about it...

Who in their right mind would buy products that are almost 10 times the price of arguably better alternatives?

#2 Monthly autoship

Oh yeah that's right...

The distributors would buy these products!

Why?

Because they will be encouraged to join the monthly "smartship" when they join so their "upline" can make a quick buck every month.

Why?

Because that's what they got told by their upline when they joined!

is Elevacity a scam- smartship-min

And to be fair, like I said earlier... if you are serious about promoting these products then you probably should actually use them yourself!

But when you combine hidden truth #1 & 2 you realise why...

#3 Elepreneurs acts like a pyramid scheme in disguise

So remember these facts:

  • Their products are overpriced compared to alternatives
  • Distributors are encouraged to join the smartship, which means their upline receives bonuses every month
  • 5 out of 7 ways to make money requires members to recruit people

Now look at the diagram below from the compensation plan...

Is Elepreneurs a scam or pyramid scheme-min
MLM pyramid scheme

Does it look similar to the pyramid scheme diagram below it?

The truth is that when a company structure requires you to recruit to make money, it is IMPOSSIBLE for everyone to make money inside the company.

#4 Elevacity lawsuit

Elevacity got sued in 2018 by another MLM called Pruvit (I've also reviewed them before).

Supposedly Elevacity violated terms and agreements between them when they started making a Keto creamer, which directly competes with Pruvit's Ketone products. They also claimed that Elepreneurs is recruiting Pruvit members by revealing confidential information to them.

It's never a good sign when a company uses these black hat techniques to try and make money.

#5 Hard to make good money at Elepreneurs

Here is the income disclaimer on Elepreneurs website...

Is Elepreneurs a scam- income disclaimer-min

The average participant earns around $500-$1,000 a year!

Now remember what we learnt earlier...

Total costs for year 1 = $949-$1,199.

The average member will lose money each year!

The only way to realistically make good money from this company is by recruiting a lot of people or working on it full time.

Ready to make passive income online?

I've created a growing passive income online with no previous marketing skills or online experience...

I've made a special video for you to explain exactly how I did this.

MTO Income

My opinion - Elepreneurs/ Elevacity

It's clear to see that some people do like the products offered by Elevacity.

But what do I think are your chances of making money within this MLM?...

When you have to recruit people to make money, the company structure is like a pyramid scheme in disguise. So you may be able to make money but only by recruiting people who will very likely lose money!

And that doesn't sound like an ethical business model to me!

How I make passive income online

MLMs are not all scams or illegal. However, I'm not a fan of them because of the restrictions to the expensive products you have to promote.

Once I learnt about affiliate marketing, I realised it's a far superior business model because:

  • You can promote anything you want and truly own the business
  • You never need to sell to friends and family
  • It's completely free to start

In 2018 I had no idea what affiliate marketing was.

But I went from a full time PE teacher to making a passive income online within one year...

Javita is an MLM company that sells coffee products. Aside from that, the firm also has an affiliate program where members can sell their products and earn commissions.

What is Javita?

Javita is a Multi-Level-Marketing coffee company that was founded back in 2004.

They sell coffee products that come in different forms, most of which being packed in ready-to-drink sachets that mixes with water.

They are also a sister company to Waiora, which is another MLM firm that sells health and wellness products.

Their founder is Stan Cherelstein. Not much is known about him, but what’s known, though, is that he is an entrepreneur who has other undisclosed business ventures apart from Javita.

Check out this 6-minute video for you to learn more about them...

Let's now learn...

Is Javita a pyramid scheme?

No, Javita is not a pyramid scheme. This is because the members of the company can still earn money by selling their coffee products without having to recruit other people.

A better question to this is also… is Javita a pyramid scheme in disguise?

What is a pyramid scheme?

A pyramid scheme is a company that offers payment to members who recruit people.

The members are compensation for recruitment instead of serving the company by selling their products and services.

Countries around the globe has already banned companies such as this because it’s impossible for all of the members to earn money from a company which only pays to recruit.

Check out this Wikipedia diagram below...

The members who earn the most money just recruit as many people as they can and sell the idea of a “business opportunity” even if they already know that they are going to lose money sooner or later.

You can also see in the diagram above that it is just impossible for all of the members to earn money in the long run because they will soon be running out of people to recruit.

Know more on how you can find these so called pyramid schemes in disguise in this 5-minute video...

But why is it that...

Success is rare with Javita

The fact is that it is hard to see success from any MLM.

Statistics state that between 72.5% and 99.9% of MLM members are losing money.

This happens because MLMs have a sales quota where their members can stay active and receive bonuses and commissions if they manage to sell a certain number of products every month.

92.3 Percent of Members Lose Money in MLMs

If they are unable to sell, then they have no other choice but to just get money from their own pockets, by their products for themselves, and just hope for the best that they’re going to recruit someone soon.

How does Javita Work?

Javita is a company that sells coffee products that come in the form of instant coffee sachets.

You can drink this by mixing it up with water.

Aside from that, they also offer the average joe an opportunity to work from home by becoming a member and selling the products and hoping to receive bonuses and commissions.

If you were to look at it at first glance, you can see that it’s a win-win situation.

But will you still say that if you know that Javita saves tons of cash because they just let their members do all the promotion and marketing instead of themselves? We doubt so...

Javita products

If you are really interested in becoming a member, then it’s best that you try out the products yourself. But if you can’t, then just try to learn more about their products.

This way, you can have an easier time sorting your way in the company, that’s if you manage to become a part of them...

Here are a few of the best-selling products of Javita:

  • Burn + Control ($40) - A coffee solution that helps you burn fat while giving you the energy needed to keep on with your daily tasks. 1 pack contains 24 sticks.
  • Energy + Focus ($40) - A coffee solution that gives you the energy boost needed while also boosting your mental prowess, helping you to focus on any mental activity you might embark on. 1 pack contains 24 sticks.
  • Lean + Green Tea ($40) - A green tea solution that cleanses your body and detoxifies it from chemicals and other impurities. It also helps you burn fat. 1 pack contains 24 sticks.
Is Javita a Scam: Products

But take note that there are multitudes of other companies out there that are offering the same stuff.

Here are a few of the most notable and popular MLM companies that are also selling health and wellness products like Javita:

All these companies say that they are special and that they stand out because they offer an exclusive product.

When in reality, they are just offering the same opportunity and stuff to customers.

So now that you know this is the case, then what makes Javita special?

Javita flagship product

FocusFusion Cocoa ($45) - A coffee formula that gives you an energy boost you need to stay active throughout the day. It also provides mental clarity and helps speed up muscle recovery. 1 pack contains 30 servings.

Is Javita a Scam: Flagship

You might also want to watch this 3-minute video about their products:

Let's now move on and know if...

Can you make money with Javita?

Yes, but it is hard to make money from Javita.

There are a few who do, but they just earn an income that is similar to minimum wage, sometimes even lower.

What’s worse is that there’s also no official income disclosure to prove that their members are actually earning. There’s something fishy going on around here...

How to make money with Javita

The only way you can make money from Javita is by:

  • Selling their coffee products
  • Recruiting members into the company and making them your downlines

But take note that you can only earn from the sales of your recruited members, and not from directly recruiting them.

This is why the company is still operational because there is no reason for the FTC to shut them down and label them as a pyramid scheme. Well, that’s where the term pyramid scheme in disguise comes in...

How much does it cost to join Javita?

You have to pay either:

  • $99
  • $599

If you opt for the cheaper $99 option, you gain access to their wholesale program. This means that you can buy their products at wholesale prices and sell them at retail prices.

But if you choose the more expensive $599 option, then apart from gaining access to their wholesale program, you also become an official affiliate member and become eligible to receive commissions and bonuses.

Javita monthly cost

Javita has a monthly minimum quota of 100 PV for you to become qualified for their compensation program.

The costs you are going to face in 1 year are:

  • $99 to $599
  • $100 x 12

Minimum costs for year 1 = $1,299 to $1,799

And that’s before you add up the other costs like training, marketing, and the food and travel allowance you have to spend money for knowing that you have to sell the products to as many people as you can.

Javita compensation plan

MLM companies have compensation plans which are outright confusing. Well, that’s entirely the same stuff with Javita. But no need to worry, though, as I will do my best to simplify this...

Javita offers 3 main ways for members to earn money. These are via:

  • First Order - Get a 10% to 20% commission whenever your newly recruited member purchases their first business starter pack. The value depends based on your level.
  • Customer Acquisition - Get a 20% to 30% bonus every time you recruit a new member into the company. The value depends based on your level.
  • Direct Sales - Get a 30% commission every time you sell an item.
Is Javita a Scam: Compensation

Still confused, I reckon?

Well, that’s normal because MLMs always use complicated words, weird acronyms, and fancy names so that their members can think that there are a lot of ways they can make money from the company.

When the reality is that there are just 2 things you can do:

  • Sell
  • Recruit

Anyways, you can dig deeper into their compensation plan in this 5-minute video:

Or maybe just see their full compensation plan by yourself.

Is Javita a scam?

No. Javita is not a scam. Javita sells real and legit coffee products. They also pay their members correctly.

But the thing is, members are disappointed to learn that they are losing more money instead of making the longer they stay with the company. This is the reason why many decided to call the company a scam.

The next section of this review will dig deeper into this so you can decide for yourself if this is a good business opportunity or not...

Just to be fully transparent with you, I am not a distributor myself and I do not endorse it in any way.

What I like about Javita

Key Terms:

  • Pyramid Scheme – recruits members via a promise for payment from recruiting others into the company rather than providing a product
  • Affiliate Marketing- Connecting a customer to a product they are looking for and receiving a commission for doing so
  • Red Flag - A warning sign

#1 Established reputation

Most MLMs last for just a few years, specifically just around 2 to 3 years.

However, Javita is different because they’ve been around since 2004, which means that they are operational for a full 16 years.

This shows that the company doesn’t have any issues with the authorities, which is a good sign if you want to stay with them.

#2 Easy to store

Another nice thing about Javita is that their products are easy to store. They come in the form of small sachets, which means that you won’t have a hard time storing them anywhere you’d like.

It might not be a huge benefit, but at least it’ll help you ease out the pressure of becoming a member, if ever you become one.

What I don't like about Javita

#1 Expensive products

One of the biggest downsides to Javita is that they sell expensive products.

This is a huge con because you are going to have a hard time selling the products when there are cheaper alternatives in the market such as these:

Is Javita a Scam: Cons

With this, you can easily conclude that there’s something fishy going on around here because of the overpriced coffee products.

#2 Saturated niche

The coffee niche, most especially the health and wellness industry, is one of the most saturated areas in the MLM community.

There are already a lot of companies offering coffee and tea products out there, which just makes it all the more difficult for you to sell the products...

#3 Hidden monthly expenses

You need to sell at least 100 PV monthly to stay active.

PV means personal volume, which is the amount or number of products that you must sell monthly to be eligible in receiving bonuses and commissions.

If you cannot sell this volume, then you are faced with no choice but to just buy it yourself just to stay active and receive commissions.

The fact that MLM companies don’t want their members to know is that their customers are their biggest client base because they regularly buy the products hoping to earn good income...

#4 Is Javita a pyramid scheme in disguise?

The only way you can avoid spending $100 monthly just to keep up with the minimum quota is by recruiting people.

Here is a diagram to guide you:

MLM pyramid scheme

Doing so means that you can transfer the pressure and hassle to them instead of you working for it because they’re the ones who must maintain the quota.

That surely isn’t an ethical business model to begin with.

#5 Downward trend

I checked Google Trends and this is what I saw:

Is Javita a Scam: Cons 2

As you can see, Javita is having a hard time keeping up with the trend because not much people are searching for them.

I even compared this with another notable MLM company called Farmasi, and the differences between the two is very clear.

This shows that you are going to have a hard time selling Javita products because there are less people interested in it...

I've made a special video for you to explain exactly how I did this.

MTO Income

My opinion - Javita

Javita sells legit and good quality products. However, they are way overpriced.

So, here’s what I think about the business opportunity presented here...

The fact that the only way to make money is by recruiting as many people as you can, is already a clear sign that there’s something fishy going on here.

What’s more is that you already know that majority of the members, in fact, almost everyone, are just going to end up losing money.

Javita is all about selling the idea of becoming rich by merely selling at your own convenient time, when in fact, this is just far from reality.

There are more better ways to make good money from a proper business...

How I make passive income online

MLMs are not scams or illegal.

What is Zip Nada Zilch about?

Zip Nada Zilch, or ZNZ, is an incentive-based affiliate program created by Jeffrey Kocurek.

The site launched back in 2008 and has grown in numbers ever since...

Is Zip Nada Zilch a Scam: Intro

Currently located in Wichita Falls, Texas, ZNZ claims to have paid over $9 million worth of commissions to its members. However, many have alleged it to have a poorly-structured program that doesn’t pay its members enough.

ZNZ's money-making concept is pretty straightforward. The program pays you to complete sales and make referrals in exchange for incentive rewards.

Also, you can check this 40-second video that shows you what it is really all about...

And who is the guy behind this?...

Who is Jeffrey Kocurek?

Surprisingly, there isn't much information online about Jeffrey Kocurek.

I didn’t even find any of his credentials or what he does other than manage ZNZ...

The only significant information I can find about him is that he is the founder of Zip Nada Zilch.

I also found out that he currently lives at 1412 Fillmore Street, Wichita Falls, Texas...

How does Zip Nada Zilch Work?

How is Zip Nada Zilch earning when they don't even have any products to sell? I had to research their business model, and this is what I found:

Zip Nada Zilch gets paid whenever they complete an ad offer that's tracked on their website.

You, the member, will then complete these ad offers, as well as the people you refer them to.

ZNZ  doesn’t keep the full payment of the advertisers. Instead, a percentage of the payment will be allocated towards the funding for “free gifts.”

So, how does ZNZ get people to sign up? Since it's an incentive-based program, the company offers cash prizes and rewards for people who sign up to their affiliate network...

They even display the rewards and products that members can redeem after joining and meeting certain referral requirements. These features can really get any person’s attention.

Inside Zip Nada Zilch

ZNZ lets you earn money and gadgets by offering leads to different companies. These companies include the likes of GoDaddy, DirectTV, and even Disney, to name a few.

A "lead" indicates any person who provides their contact details (email address, phone number) to a company—the company that will then use this information to sell their products.

When you sign up for Zip Nada Zilch and encourage others to do the same, you generate leads for the company.

Is Zip Nada Zilch a Scam: Inside

ZNZ acts as the middleman to the entire process. The program is only an affiliate to these companies if they provide more leads to these networks.

Zip Nada Zilch Compensation Plan

Now for the tricky bit. When customers refer other people to one of their affiliate sites, they will earn bank credits. The value of these credits per referral are shown below for each of their affiliate sites:

  • Budget - $0.01
  • Double - $0.01
  • One - $0.01
  • Quick - $0.01

  • Xbox 360 - $0.04

Credit Requirements & Payout

Bank Credits are the main features that members need to keep track of for the referral requirements. Here's a list of the affiliate sites with their corresponding credit requirements and payout:

AllinOne

Wii

  • Payout: $40/referral

Xbox 360

  • Credit Requirements: 2.00 Credits
  • Payout: $80/referral

Once a member reaches the credit requirement for one of their affiliate sites, they will also get the equivalent payout.

For instance, getting PlayStation's payout will require you to meet $1.00 in credit. Based on the previous list, each referral is worth $0.02. Doing the math, you'll need to refer 50 people to earn the payout.

Apart from the referrals, people also earn by completing certain offers on each of their affiliate sites. Similar to the compensation plan, ZNZ members will also get bank credits which they can use to redeem different rewards.

Commissions

Zip Nada Zilch also offers commissions. To avail, you will need to go through two of their sites, namely, One and Big Cash.

Note that there's no sign-up available. You'll need to qualify for both of these sites first.

ZNZ One

Similar to their other sites, you will need to meet credit requirements to get into ZNZ One. Once you qualify for a slot, you'll earn your very own referral link.

Once someone clicks your referral link, Zip Nada Zilch will pay you $20 per referral. So make sure you promote this link as much as you can.

ZNZ Big Cash

To qualify for Big Cash, you'll need to become a ZNZ One member first. Again, you'll need to meet credit requirements by completing affiliate offers.

You will then earn a referral link that will get you paid for every member that signed up using your link. Keep in mind that the referral link bonus for Big Cash is higher than One.

Zip Nada Zilch reviews online

Zip Nada Zilch is a 13-year-old affiliate marketing program. It has accumulated a ton of reviews throughout the years.

And what do the people who subscribed to it have to say?...

Common positive Zip Nada Zilch reviews

The reviews that I found online are quite split 50/50. Some were very positive about ZNZ and what it offers. Here's what they had to say:

"I have only worked with Znz a short time, but I have gotten paid for every referral I have completed."

"Don't do this if you are short on cash or have a credit card. It is a great system, just give it a chance, has worked incredibly for me......who would be online without cash or credit."

"Unlike other paid survey and rewards sites, ZNZ made sure that their members got paid, and they posted proof of it on the official website."

Common negative Zip Nada Zilch reviews

On the other end of the spectrum are the people who think of ZNZ in a negative way. Here's what they had to say:

"I have advertised my link a million times and get people to sign up to my page, but I cannot get any referrals to start getting paid. Can someone help me out here?! I do not want to call Martin back with the same question because all he told me a long time ago was to go back and watch the video, I did. I watched all of them, and I'm soooo frustrated!!!!"

"This is an "Online Telemarketing Job" that tells you all exactly what the others have posted online. Those who had made money would not share their secrets..... but this is what it is... And as for the trials.... well, watch your bank account for unseen charges, and when you return any items, get some kind of "RMA - Return Merchandise Authorization or Confirmation number, and then send it back with a tracking number! Don't get caught with this mess when those businesses say that they did not receive the return shipment."

"Big scam. There is always an excuse for not getting your credit. Horrible!"

As you can see, opinions for Zip Nada Zilch are all over the place. There really isn't any definite conclusion about the legitimacy of this course. Hopefully, this review will solve that.

Is Zip Nada Zilch a scam?

Zip Nada Zilch is not a scam.

As we can recall, the company has paid over $9 million in incentives and commissions.

That alone proves that its business model works and that they’re also paying their members...

Their manner of incentivizing is quite questionable. But overall, ZNZ is a legitimate business that offers real results.

Zip Nada Zilch pros

#1 Free to join

We can't ignore the one thing that makes people want to try ZNZ at this point.

It's a free-to-join affiliate marketing program that gives incentives in exchange for leads.

That's not as bad as it sounds...

Is Zip Nada Zilch a Scam: Pros

It's also best for anyone who has time to complete sales offers.

Zip Nada Zilch is for anyone who has all the time and energy to spend completing different offers.

If you're at home and have time on your hands, this program might be for you...

#2 You will get paid

The difference between Zip Nada Zilch and other paid rewards sites is that ZNZ makes sure that its members get paid.

Is Zip Nada Zilch a Scam: Pros 2

They even post proof of it on their official website. This assurance will remove any doubt of ZNZ being a scam...

Zip Nada Zilch cons

#1 Requires too much time and effort

Earning money in ZNZ is a grind.

You'll need to make an effort to earn referrals and convert them into cash or rewards.

You'll need to work extra hard to meet the credit requirements on sales offers before you get commissions.

This process can be too tedious and time-consuming for the average person...

#2 Asks for your credit card

While it's not a scam, ZNZ does have some hidden schemes that will try to get your money.

Is Zip Nada Zilch a Scam: Cons

One of these is the fact that the site asks for your credit card during sign-up.

Many offers are free. However, the ones that give a higher pay are paid trial offers (where you sign up or refer someone) for a free trial.

However, you will be charged the full amount once the trial is over.

#3 Worthless products

It's no wonder why ZNZ members have a hard time earning commissions and incentives. The products they are trying to sell are worthless.

Is Zip Nada Zilch a Scam: Cons 2

Paid trials are an example of that.

Since the company doesn't have any physical products, they rely solely on free trials to cable subscriptions, video services, and other offers that prove convenient.

Ready to make passive income online?

I've created a growing passive income online with no marketing skills or online experience...

I've made a special video for you to explain exactly how I did this.

Make Time Online Income

My opinion - Zip Nada Zilch

While it has a lot of red flags, Zip Nada Zilch is still a legitimate site.

It's been around since 2008 and has paid over $9 million to its members.

So, here is what I can say about it...

With that said, I wouldn't recommend the program for the following reasons:

  • It requires your credit card information.
  • The products are not worth selling.
  • You have zero control over the products that you sell.
  • People get paid, yes, but they are not earning enough for their efforts.

Till then, it's up to your own decision...

How I make passive income online

In 2018 I had no idea what affiliate marketing was.

Once I learnt about it, it just seemed like a great business model that can grow over time using the power of the internet.

So I tried to figure it out by myself... that got me nowhere fast.

Then I fell for some terrible online scams.

But eventually, I found Wealthy Affiliate. It teaches long-term proven strategies to build an online business with all the tools & support needed.

And this happened...

Make Time Online Income

Once you learn the process of getting thousands of people to find your website every month (for free) there really is not limit to what you can achieve online.

I've reviewed hundreds of courses or programs that claim to help people make money online. And I've spoken to dozens of 6-7 figure online entrepreneurs on my podcast.

This is by far the best place I've seen to help beginners get set up on the right foot. You can read my full Wealthy Affiliate review here (including the pros and cons!)

What is Jeunesse?

Jeunesse is a skincare and health Multi-Level-Marketing company that was founded in 2009.

Jeunesse is a French word that means "the time when you are young".

The focus of the MLM is to provide skincare and supplements that help people look and feel younger. They also provide an opportunity for everyday people to make money from home.

The 3 minute video below explains more about this opportunity...

Many people will see this video and get excited about becoming "their own boss".

But your smart enough to recognise this is just a promotional video created by Jeunesse. So you're probably still wondering...

Is Jeunesse a pyramid scheme?

Technically no, Jeunesse is not a pyramid scheme.

It's possible for distributors to make money by selling the products without recruiting anyone into the company.

However, it is very hard to make any significant money this way or even cover the monthly sales quota. For that reason Jeunesse is very similar to a "pyramid scheme in disguise".

Let me explain what I mean by that...

What is a pyramid scheme?

A company that promises members payment for recruiting more people into the company rather than selling a product or a service.

These are illegal in most countries because it is impossible for everyone to earn money inside a company that only pays people to recruit.

Just see the Wikipedia diagram below to see why...

Jeunesse does offer legit products like most MLMs.

However, there is a huge focus on recruiting to make any money at the company. It's the ONLY way to make any "residual income" that the sales videos always mention. And a MLM that needs you to recruit to avoid losing money is like a "pyramid scheme in disguise".

Just watch the 5 minute video below to see why...

Success is rare with Jeunesse

The truth is, it's hard to find success inside any MLM.

Research has proven that between 73% and 99% of all MLM representatives lose money.

MLM FTC Fact Stat

From some simple maths and dissecting the confusing income disclosure from 2014, you can see that 98.8% of all members made less than $2,000 for the year.

Later on in this Jeunesse review, I will show you why it costs at least $1,309.90- $3,409.90 per year to "remain active".

So it's safe to say that at least 98% of all distributors lose money inside Jeunesse.

Ready to make passive income online?

Hey, I'm Mike.

I created a passive income online within a year. I had no marketing skills or online experience when I started.

Mike Beatty

How does Jeunesse Work?

Jeunesse offers a range of beauty and nutritional products.

But instead of spending a lot of money on advertising and marketing they get everyday people to sell their products and recruit more people into the MLM business.

In return these "distributors" can get paid for working from home.

In theory, it's like a win-win!

But let's find out who really wins shall we? (hint- it's the owners!)

Jeunesse products

If you are serious about joining any MLM, then it's vital to understand more about the products they offer.

Jeunesse sells a range of nutritional supplements and anti aging products like creams and gels.

Here are some of their main products:

  • Luminesce ($44.95 ~ $137.95) - Skincare products to help restore luminosity, firmness & smoother skin
  • Instantly Ageless ($74.95) - Facial cream to hide eye bags, fine lines, wrinkles & pores for 6-9 hours
  • NV (Stands for "Envy") ($55.95) - Mist facial spray
  • AM & PM Essentials ($139.95) - Multivitamin supplements
  • RESERVE ($137.95) - Antioxidant fruit juice
  • FINITI ($144.95 ~ $289.95) - Another supplement
  • ZEN Bodi ($21.95 ~ $399.95) - Health drink
  • M1ND ($137.95) - Supplement to support memory and reduce mental distraction
  • MONAVIE ($175) - Health drink
  • Naara ($41.95) - Collagen drink
  • NEVO ($71.95) - Energy drink with no artificial flavors, colors or sweeteners
Jeunesse Products-min

It's important to be aware that there are thousands of brands that offer a similar range of products. There are also hundreds of MLMs that offer a similar thing such as:

  • Atomy
  • LifeVantage
  • Poofy Organics
  • Rodan and Fields
  • Seacret Direct
  • Bellame
  • SeneGence
  • Farmasi
  • Mary Kay
  • Maskcara
  • So what makes Jeunesse stand out?...

    Jeunesse Instantly Ageless- flagship product

Their flagship product is really the Instantly Ageless eye-bag remover cream (the video below is pretty cool!) There is also a real focus on helping people look and feel younger as you can see in the diagram below...

    jeunesse-product-line-min

But I know what you're thinking... it's still quite similar to other products that are out there.

So the only way to really know how good the products are is to try them yourself. Or do what most people do and check out the reviews about them...

is Jeunesse a pyramid scheme- Jeunesse review-min

Overall there are pretty positive Jeunesse reviews online, which is a great sign!

We'll dig into this in more detail later, but for now you can see how the "instantly ageless" eye cream works in a real time 90 second demo below...

Can you make money with Jeunesse?

You've already seen that over 98% of Jeunesse distributors lose money. So it's clearly not an easy task to make money as a distributor.

But what do those unicorns that do make money do?

Can you really set up a "residual income" with part time work?

    The short answer is no.

The real money in this company is made from extroverted people who use social media to advertise Jeunesse products. They sell the dream of "being your own boss" to people and then spend most of their time on Zoom calls with their "downline".

The most successful distributors are really a full time "sales manager".

They encourage their "team" to sell and recruit more so it gives them bigger bonuses. But the majority of  their "team" will actually end up losing money and buying the products  themselves to remain active.

How to make money with Jeunesse

There's really only 2 ways to make money as a Jeunesse distributor:

    1. Sell products
    2. Recruit people (and earn bonuses from their sales)

This is pretty standard for all MLMs and the reason they are not shut down by the FTC is because you won't get "paid directly" for recruiting someone. You just get bonuses from the sales they make.

    Notice the difference?

How much does it cost to join Jeunesse?

It costs $29.95-$49.95 for the starter pack...

is Jeunesse a scam- starting costs-min
is Jeunesse a scam- starter pack-min

But you will also be "encouraged" to purchase a "product pack" for $199.95-$2,299.95. They come with a range of products for you to try or sell on.

But the costs do not stop there...

    Jeunesse monthly cost

To "remain active" you need to sell 60PV (personal volume) points every month...

is Jeunesse a pyramid scheme- active requirements-min

So you will actually also be "encouraged" to purchase a "monthly autoship" for 60 PV. Because if you can't sell 60PV in a month your account will be suspended. In reality, that means setting up a standing order for a product that costs around $90.

This means the minimum expenses you need to allow for your first year are:

    • $29.95
    • $199.95-$2,299.95
    • $90 x 12

    Total cost for 1 year = $1,309.90- $3,409.90

And this is without including additional costs for training, marketing or postage and packaging. It's obviously much less than running a bricks and mortar business like a restaurant, but it's certainly more than $30!

    Jeunesse compensation plan

For some reason MLMs love to make their compensation plan harder to understand than a drunk Scotsman. And Jeunesse is no different!

So I will do my best to keep this simple.

There are 7 ways that Jeunesse will pay you...

    1. Retail profit (up to 35%)
    2. New customer acquisition bonus ($25-$250 depending on their product package purchase)
    3. Team commission (bonuses when you have two "legs" aka recruits that accumulate 100 PV per month)
    4. Leadership matching bonus (5-20% bonus on sales your downline make)
    5. Customer acquisition incentive (5% additional bonus on recruits product pack purchase if you have 5 regular customers, 10% if you have 10 regular customers)
    6. Diamond bonus pool (share 3% of total sales in Jeunesse when you reach Diamond rank)
    7. Lifestyle rewards (incentive trips if you reach certain ranks/ quotas)
is Jeunesse a pyramid scheme- compensation plan-min

Do not worry if you are still confused by all of that! They use weird acronyms and complicated terms to make it seem like there's loads of ways to make money.

The reality is there are only 2 things you can do:

    1. Sell products
    2. Recruit people

And do you notice that 6 out of 7 ways to get paid require you to recruit people?

    #justsaying

Anyway, you can learn more about the compensation plan in the 14 minute video below if you'd like to get your head around it a bit more...

Or you can find the full 10 page Jeunesse compensation plan here.

    Is Jeunesse a scam?

    No!

Jeunesse is technically not a scam.

They sell legit products and pay you like they say they will.

But too many people join without really understanding what they need to do to make money. They try it for a year or two, lose money and then point the finger at the company.

The rest of this Jeunesse review will expose the hidden truths so that you can make an informed decision if it's right for you or not...

    Common positive reviews

Told it’s so easy to climb the ranks. Not true."
    • "I offered to pay extra for expedited shipping. They said they would call me back. Once again, nothing and they sent my order snail mail. Wow! Not impressed."

Just to be fully transparent with you, I am not a distributor myself and I do not endorse Jeunesse in any way.

I have researched the website, testimonials and information on the Internet to get to the bottom of what this program genuinely does. This is because I have been burnt from programs just like this in the past and I want to prevent others from making the same mistakes. What I like about Jeunesse

There are a couple of things that I like about Jeunesse compared to many other MLMs...

    Key Terms:

    • Pyramid Scheme – recruits members via a promise for payment from referring others to the service rather than providing a product
    • Affiliate Marketing- Connecting a customer to a product they are looking for and receiving a commission for doing so
    • Red Flag - A warning sign

    #1 Proven history

Did you know that only 1 out of 3 MLMs survive past 10  years?

Jeunesse started in 2009 so it's safe to say that it probably won't just disappear tomorrow like many MLMs do. This is another great sign that Jeunesse isn't a scam as the FTC hasn't shut it down.

    #2 Positive product reviews

It's always good when you see real people writing positive reviews about the products...

You sometimes have to be aware that it may be distributors writing fake reviews to make the products seem great and easier to sell. But there are tons of great reviews on Facebook, Amazon and on forum sites.

However, are all the reviews good about Jeunesse?...

What I don't like about Jeunesse

These are the hidden truths that you won't find directly on Jeunesse's website or from the person who introduced you to the company...

    #1 Expensive products

If a MLM has overpriced products it's a red flag that the company is a pyramid scheme in disguise.

It's a clear signal that the company focused on recruiting rather than selling good affordable products...

is Jeuness a pyramid scheme- moisturiser-min
    Amazon Moisturiser- Skin care-min
    • Jeunesse Daily Moisturiser-  $59.95/ Fl Oz
    • Highly rated Amazon moisturisers- $0.66- $3.25/ Fl Oz

Seriously, why would anyone spend more than 10 times on a very similar product? And there are people who try to warn others about this too...

is Jeunesse a pyramid scheme- negative reviews-min

So who does buy this overpriced crap?...

    #2 Hidden monthly expenses

    Ah yeah that's right...

Do you remember seeing that distributors need to sell 60 PV a month to "remain active"?...

Is Jeunesse a scam- monthly autoship-min
is Jeunesse a scam- Monthly costs-min

The thing is to most people that makes no sense!

    What the frick is PV?

When you actually dig through a distributors website and then cross reference this with the Jeunesse sales page you can work out what this means (I mean who has time for that?!)...

60 CV (or PV or MV or whateever the frick they call it) means you need to sell $87.95 worth of products EVERY month. If the distributors can't do this, they need to buy it themselves.

    Here's the truth...

Jeunesse's biggest customer base is their distributors, who keep buying this stuff in the hopes they can "be their own boss" next month.

#3 Jeunesse is a pyramid scheme in disguise

If you truly undrstand those first 2 hidden truths you can understand why Jeunesse is a pyramid scheme in disguise. The only way you can avoid losing money is by recruiting some more people and "passing the buck" onto them.

And any company that has a focus on recruiting ends up looking like this..

    MLM pyramid scheme

You still don't believe me do you?

You're probably still thinking... but surely you can just sell the products and make money.

Well, here's the hard facts from Jeunesse themselves...

    #4 Only 1 in 278 earn over $16k a year

The 2014 Jeunesse income disclosure (the only one I could find... you will understand why they don't publish these anymore in a sec) spills the beans...

is Jeunesse a scam- income disclaimer-min

Once you actually do the maths that they still try to hide behind in that table above you can see  that 0.36% of all distributors earn over $16k a year.

In simple English that means that only 1 person out of 278 made more than $16k in 2014.

Is that even enough for you and your family to live on?

    #5 Downward trend

The final nail in the coffin for Jeunesse is found on Google Trends...

Fewer people are searching for Jeunesse every month since it began. When you compare this to other MLMs like Farmasi you can see the trend is going the wrong way.

It's far easier to sell something that people are actually looking for and Jeunesse is on the decline.

I've created a growing passive income online with no previous marketing skills or online experience...

I've made a special video for you to explain exactly how I did this.

    MTO Income

    My opinion - Jeunesse

Does Jeunnesse have some good quality products?

    Yep!

    Are they overpriced?

    Hell yes!

What do I think of the business opportunity here?...

The simple fact is that to make good money you need to recruit a lot of people.

And they have a 98% chance of losing money.

That's not my idea of an ethical business model in helping people. You'll need to sell the dream and then leave them to figure out these truths by themselves.

How I make passive income online

MLMs are not scams or illegal.

Is American Consumer Panels a Scam: Can You Make Money From Product Testing?

With the many people who are looking for an additional source of income, it makes sense to try out different business opportunities out there.

And one of those might be American Consumer Panels.

It sounds pretty nice because it’s basically just making money out of reviewing products sold online.

    But you then wondered…

Is American Consumer Panels a scam? Nope, not really. Members do make money reviewing products that are sold online. But that’s not a sustainable source of income. Why?

Well, that’s what we’re going to talk about in this review, we’ll also show you the pros, cons, and never before heard information to know if this company offers a legit way to make money online.

    Disclaimer:
This American Consumer Panel review has been thoroughly researched with information and testimonials that are available online to anyone in the public. Any conclusions drawn by myself are opinions.

What is American Consumer Panels about?

American Consumer Panels offers product testing services to companies which aim to have a run-through of their products.

They usually do this to get consumer feedback and fix what needs to be fixed before doing a full launch of what they sell.

So far, this 1-minute video is the only one on their official YouTube channel...

What American Consumer Panels basically do is they work on recruiting people who would test products at home and give their evaluation of it. It is a clear-cut goal they have made sure to highlight in their website.

But that, of course, is just one side of a coin...

As you read through this review, you’ll find out what this company really specializes at.

    Who is the founder?

In this section, the founder is supposedly going to be presented but based on the several websites they have online, there really is no identified person who can be called as the founder of this company.

If you browse through the few existing websites they have, the acknowledged founder is American Consumer Panels itself.

What is really suspicious is that there is no exact person whom you can associate this company with.

And that somehow calls for a red flag...

But before we make a conclusion on them, let us first get to know them a bit more by knowing how they work...

Ready to make passive income online?

    Hey, I'm Mike.

I created a passive income online within a year. I had no marketing skills or online experience when I started.

    Mike Beatty

How does American Consumer Panels Work?

You sign up to American Consumer Panels so that you can be one of the select participants who will be testing several products and evaluate it.

It guarantees to pay you $25 to $45 per hour and the minimum working hours you’ll render is 15-20 hours per week.

You can actually earn quite an amount of money while staying at home as it is stated in their job description that 95% of the work you’ll be doing can be done at home.

That is how it is supposed to work...

But what really happens is you will be asked to sign up for another two survey sites of which you’ll definitely receive spams from.

American Consumer Panels actually work as a company (if it can even be considered a company) that recruit referrals for survey sites. And of course, it earns a referral fee while you get stuck with answering surveys.

So does it mean that it’s just another scam?

You can decide on it after a few more readings...

    Inside American Consumer Panels

American Consumer Panels is a company that hires people, with experience or without any experience on the said job they are applying for.

These guys then test products and give feedback that the companies who own those products can use to improve what they sell before releasing it on the market.

Is American Consumer Panels a Scam: Inside

    Step #1: Signing up process

First and foremost, you have to deal with the signing up process using your email address. That is always the initial step you have to follow in every online job you want to apply for.

It isn’t that much thrilling as you only have to put your email address and password and wait for further instructions from them.

    Step #2: Survey questions

If you are someone who decides if a job offer is a scam or not based on how the offer is being presented to you, well, you might actually consider American Consumer Panels somewhat a legit one as it sounds real professional.

They’ll ask you five questions that will determine if you are fit for the job or not. These questions were designed to make you approve of them as a legit website run by professionals.

    Step #3: Demographic profile

After the survey questions, you will receive an email telling you to complete the signing up process by setting up your demographic profile.

The reason for that is also stated in their job description:

“During your application process, we will determine your consumer parole and establish what products would be suitable for you to test according to your demographics, lifestyle, consumer behavior, skills, hobbies and ability.

Research questionnaires are used to identify and target certain types of consumers, to ensure the right participants are engaged and to achieve the representative sample needed.

Job candidates for In-Home Usage Testing are also screened to meet the clients needs for the project to ensure that the product is one that they qualify to test and that they have a balance of demographics and attitudes.”

What possible reason really why people who encounter this job offer immediately sign up for it is because it sounds and looks legit enough!

    Step #4: Survey sites

The last part of the process is you get instructed to sign up for two survey sites, LifePoints Consumer Panel and InboxDollars Consumer Panel.

Now the thing is, if you actually sign up for the two other sites, you end up answering survey questions. And what’s more alarming for you is you don’t get any call or message from American Consumer Panels anymore.

    What happens after...

After completing the steps, they then fade into the background and leave you hanging and waiting in front of your laptop, with you facing more and more survey questions that bombard your inbox.

What’s even more concerning is you have already given your personal information via the demographic profile you have set up!

And those information are in the hands of the survey sites they have asked you to sign up for.

You might also want to check out this 5-minute video that shows what you can expect from this business opportunity...

Let us then proceed and talk about numbers...

American Consumer Panels cost to join

A quick answer to this is NONE.

What most of us think when it comes to scams is that your money will play a certain role for you to get the business or job opportunity.

But with American Consumer Panels, you don’t have to pay a single dime to them...

What you’ll be investing is your time and also your personal information.

But not paying does not mean that you have not wasted anything!

Companies like them that put effort in setting up their image to lure potential job seekers have always something they can get out of you...

    American Consumer Panels monthly cost

    Again, there's none...

You don’t have to worry about any monthly cost once you sign up for the job (if there really is a job!).

Is American Consumer Panels a Scam: Monthly Cost

This company will not be collecting anything from you aside from the personal information that they’ll be selling for a few bucks of referral fee to some survey sites.

And yes, you won’t be paying them. But in return, they’ll get a pay for your cooperation in partaking in their signing up process.

    American Consumer Panels reviews online

American Consumer Panels is a program where you get to test products that are sold online. You evalute them, and you get paid for it! Sounds nice, right?

But what you're really after is if the business opportunity works or not. And a good way to do that is by knowing what people who have experienced it themselves have to say.

I scoured the net and checked YouTube videos and a number of review sites like BBB, Glassdoor, and SiteJabber.

Common positive American Consumer Panels reviews

    • They get to keep some products they tested for free
    • Subscribers are actually able to test product

Here are some of the best positive reviews I find online:

"I tested a cordless vacuum, some gardening tools and cookware. It was exciting to use new products without having to buy them and instead being paid to use them! I got to keep it for free."

"My experience with American Consumer Panels is too good. Some products will not use in United State market, but with "ACP"I have learned about many other products."

Common negative American Consumer Panels reviews

    • Waste of time
    • Too many nonsense surveys
    • No guarantee of payment

Here are the best negative reviews I found online:

"Waste of time It sucks Surveys all day with little to no merit."

"This is not a real company. The whole thing is a scam. You can read all about it with a simple Google search."

"Do not sign up. Who knows what they do with your info.”

Is American Consumer Panels a scam?

Yes. And that's a big YES.

It is indeed a company that recruits people to complete surveys and collect information about them and leave them in the hands of other survey websites.

It is basically a bait and switch scam...

The bait is their job offer which looks real legit with all the fancy job descriptions and fancy salary and the switch happens after collecting your demographic profile and handing them over to survey sites who will then bombard you with a lot of survey questions.

It is an unethical method that relies on deceptive marketing.

Many fell for it as it looked so promising but with a thorough scrutiny of it, you can decide if it’s even worth your time.

Below are the not-so-promising pros and overwhelming cons that will help you see that this isn't really worth your time...

Tired of expensive crappy Affiliate Marketing courses? Check out how I make money online here!

    American Consumer Panels pros

    #1 Well-designed website

This is not really what you are looking for and it seems that the well-designed look of their website is meant to lure job seekers.

But still, let us consider it as one of their pros.

If you think about it, it actually is a company that has potential.

Is American Consumer Panels a Scam: Pros

It embodies a certain level of legitimacy because of how a certain amount of effort has been put in designing their website.

This somehow tells us that, if only they have not taken the path of deception, they could’ve established themselves in the world of business.

    #2 Connection to other websites

Looking at it closely, when you get redirected to a survey site, it seems that American Consumer Panels does not completely abandon you as they leave you in the hands of other websites.

Is American Consumer Panels a Scam: Pros 2

These websites you will be connected to through signups are actually legit ones and they might be the ones to give you a pay for answering several survey questions.

    American Consumer Panels cons

    #1 Fake online presence

The website is just for show, just a bait, the media exposure they were given was a paid one and they have even reached the point where they themselves have released their own article to further their presence online.

But looking at it closely, it actually seems to be the work of an amateur and not a professional.

Is American Consumer Panels a Scam: Cons

Another thing that makes them totally sketchy is the address they have put on their websites.

They don't actually have an office at One World Trade Center in New York.

Their address which is 8500 One World Trade Center is occupied by a company called ServCorp...

    #2 Numerous negative reviews

What makes this company a whole scam are all found in the reviews about them.

Just take a look at some of them...

Is American Consumer Panels a Scam: Cons 2

There are way too many complaints that reiterate the whole point of this company which is just to recruit referrals and make money out of it and out of you.

But that is unless you like answering endless surveys and receiving junk mails. If not, this company is just not worth the shot.

    #3 Identity theft

Remember the surveys that are bombarder on you right after you sign up?

Well, that's a good sign of identity theft.

This program just gets your private and personal information and nothing more! That's the only thing that their survey does...

    #4 They just doesn't pay...

I scoured the net trying to look for any positive sign about their business opportunity and if whether their product testers really do earn money.

    But there's none...

Is American Consumer Panels a Scam: Cons 3

It just isn't smart to try things out yourself even if you already know that there is no proof of their product testers being paid!

Sign up and just receive truckloads of spam surveys. And nothing more...

My opinion - American Consumer Panels

This company is highly not recommended for you. As what has been elaborated in this review, the job opportunity they are offering is not really a job nor an opportunity.

American Consumer Panels is yet another scam that needs to be avoided.

So, obviously speaking, here's what I can say about it...

Scams take many forms and American Consumer Panels surely has shown you one of the many forms of scamming people.

You have to remember that not paying your way in does not mean they have not gained anything from you.

Scams are always aimed at benefiting from you.

There are a lot of better and legit business opportunities out there you can try right now...

    What is Impact Mailing Club?

Impact Mailing Club is a direct mail Multi-Level-Marketing company that was founded by a lady entrepreneur named Rose Alameda.

They claim to help members earn $500 to $1,000 by just sending letters and postcards.

What makes this a bit fishy is that they don’t have their own official website. Instead, they have a Facebook group that has more than 5,000 members.

Not much is known about the company aside from the fact that it basically has its own platform which invites anyone to join.

They then send out letters to random people and wait till one of them accepts the invitation.

Check out this 3-minute video about the company...

Let us dive deeper and know if...

Is Impact Mailing Club a pyramid scheme?

There are a lot of signs that show Impact Mailing Club is a pyramid scheme.

First off, is that their members can only earn money by recruiting other people.

They don’t sell tangible products or services. Instead, they just send mail and wait till they recruit.

Because of this, it’s also smart to ask if… Is Impact Mailing Club a pyramid scheme in disguise?

    What is a pyramid scheme?

A pyramid scheme commonly takes the form of a company that is paying members whenever they successfully recruit new members into the system.

This is the reason why a lot of governments have labeled companies like these as illegal as there is no way they can continue operating especially that they don’t have products or services to sell.

See this diagram from Wikipedia to know how this works...

Members who are making money are those who exhaust all their effort to recruit people.

But if you were to check back on the diagram, you’ll see that it’s impossible for the recruits to earn money because sooner or later, they are going to exhaust all the potential customers and members they can recruit into the company.

    So, why do many say...

Success is rare with Impact Mailing Club

Yes, you read that right. Success is hard to achieve with an MLM, especially when you’re with Impact Mailing Club.

In fact, a report states that between  72.5% and 99.9% of members don’t make any money at all. And more specifically speaking, these guys lose money.

92.3 Percent of Members Lose Money in MLMs

This is happening because the expenses members incur happen to be higher than the money they earn, thus they lose money.

That is exactly what happens with Impact Mailing Club.

There are also other MLMs which have sales quota where members need to sell a certain number of products to receive commissions.

This is why most MLM members lose huge money from their own savings before they can get a single recruit.

Ready to make passive income online?

    Hey, I'm Mike.

I created a passive income online within a year. I had no marketing skills or online experience when I started.

    Mike Beatty

How does Impact Mailing Club Work?

The company works by maintaining a direct mail gifting system. This is a platform where members send mail to random recipients inviting them to join the company.

They then earn money whenever they successfully recruit a member into the system.

You can see as early as now that there’s really something fishy going on here because what they are merely doing is recruitment. And nothing more.

But is that really the case?

    Impact Mailing Club services

Impact Mailing Club is different from most MLMs because this does not have any product or service.

Instead, what they do is that they maintain their own direct mail platform. This is where members can join the company and mail letters to a random list of people which they call as leads.

They’re called leads because they are prospect members who can be recruited. If they buy into your mail and they become a member, you then earn a commission.

Your recruited members then become your downline. And what they do next is to do the exact same thing you are doing, which is sending mail to random people and hoping they can recruit.

It’s all about building a team, but what kind of team are you exactly building?

A team that’s made to recruit?

You can again see that the recruitment process keeps on going even if there is really no product offered.

Is Impact Mailing Club a Scam: Services

    It’s all about chain recruitment...

There are a lot of direct mail schemes like these in the MLM world, though, so be warned.

Below are some of the other direct mail MLMs that are popular:

They claim to be special and different, even if they are all just the same and operate by means of recruitment...

Here is another diagram to help you learn more about what they really are offering...

Is Impact Mailing Club a Scam: Flagship

Here is a 4-minute video that will help you see what you'll do if you are a member:

Note this video has been removed. It may be because of how bad Impact Mailing Club is, but that's just me speculating!

    Now, let's ask...

Can you make money with Impact Mailing Club?

It is very hard to make money from Impact Mailing Club.

Not only do you have to shell out a huge capital for the subscription investment. But the chances of you recruiting other people is hard.

There might be a few who do, but they work very hard trying to recruit people.

And it functions just like a full-time job instead of the part-time business you’re looking for.

There is even no income disclosure to prove that members actually do make money.

How to make money with Impact Mailing Club

You have to do these one thing to make money:

    • Recruit as many members as you can

And then again, you can see that there’s something odd going on here...

How much does it cost to join Impact Mailing Club?

You have 4 subscription choices if you want to be an Impact Mailing Club member:

    • Emerald ($100) - 2 stamp books or 100 leads
    • Ruby ($250) -  4 stamp books or 200 leads
    • Sapphire ($500) -  4 stamp books or 400 leads
    • Diamond ($2,000) -  5 stamp books or 1,000 leads

The stamp books mention there are the mail units you are going to send out later.

The more expensive subscriptions you choose, the more mails you can send out.

    Impact Mailing Club monthly cost

    There is no sales quota.

But there is also no guarantee that you can make any money.

Just think of it this way. Do you think that the recipients will buy into your invitation of joining the company just for them to make money? They’ll most likely just snob the letter.

Here’s the cost you are going to have in your 1st year…

    • Minimum costs for year 1 = $100 to $2,000

Also note that this is not yet the full list of costs because you are still going to spend on training, travel, food, marketing, and many more expenses...

    Impact Mailing Club compensation plan

Impact Mailing Club’s compensation plan is simple.

You basically earn every time you recruit a person. But it’s not as simple as that because there are ranks.

But I’ll explain it to you here…

Let’s start off with the Ruby level. If you are at the Ruby level, you can earn commissions if you recruit people to join your level.

But if they happen to choose a higher and more expensive level, let’s say the Sapphire or Diamond, then you can’t earn anything.

Instead, they get a commission from you!

I did some further research into this and found out that the company will contact and notify you if you want to upgrade.

But even if this is the case, can you still afford the maximum of $2,000 additional cost for upgrading?

Here are the different levels and the corresponding money you can earn:

    • Emerald - Earn a $65 or $20 commission when you recruit members into the 1st tier and 2nd tier, respectively.
    • Ruby -  Earn a $150 or $50 commission when you recruit members into the 1st tier and 2nd tier, respectively.
    • Sapphire -  Earn a $300 or $100 commission when you recruit members into the 1st tier and 2nd tier, respectively.
    • Diamond -  Earn a $1,000 or $500 commission when you recruit members into the 1st tier and 2nd tier, respectively.
Is Impact Mailing Club a Scam: Compensation

Confusing, for sure, even if that’s already simplified.

These companies make it seem like their members can have a lot of ways to make money, even if they just need to do this one obvious thing:

    • Recruit as hard as they can to earn money

Here is a 10-minute video of their compensation plan...

Let us then get straight to the point and learn if...

Is Impact Mailing Club a scam?

Not really. But they do show a lot of signs that they are a scam.

They don’t have a legit product, they have no official website, and they don’t offer anything aside from the fact that their members recruit people.

And those recruited members won’t do anything aside from just recruiting.

So, what can you say about this? Easy…

And that it’s most likely a scam.

But it’s important to dig deeper into this by knowing more specific details about the company and if you can really earn from their recruitment scheme...

Just to be fully transparent with you, I am not a distributor myself and I do not endorse it in any way.

I have researched the website, testimonials and information on the Internet to get to the bottom of what this program genuinely does. This is because I have been burnt from programs just like this in the past and I want to prevent others from making the same mistakes.

What I like about Impact Mailing Club

    Key Terms:

    • Pyramid Scheme – recruits members via a promise for payment from recruiting others into the company rather than providing a product
    • Affiliate Marketing- Connecting a customer to a product they are looking for and receiving a commission for doing so
    • Red Flag - A warning sign

    #1 Gaining momentum

The best and only nice thing about Impact Mailing Club is what Google Trends show:

Is Impact Mailing Club a Scam: Pros

As you can see, the number of people searching for Impact Mailing Club has greatly increased.

In fact, the graph spiked up pretty nice.

This shows that there are a lot of people who are interested in Impact Mailing Club, which also means you might recruit lots of people.

What I don't like about Impact Mailing Club

    #1 Expensive subscription

Here is what you need to spend to become a member.

Is Impact Mailing Club a Scam: Cons

Spending $100 to $2,000 without any assurance that you will earn is just very risky.

That’s also just very high compared to other MLMs.

    #2 No product or service

Impact Mailing Club obviously doesn't have any product or service to offer or sell.

This is a very clear sign that there is something fishy and off with the company.  All they have is a system where members recruit people.

And the new members who are recruited also do nothing but basically do the same thing, which is to recruit.

    The cycle goes on...

    #3 Nonsense business practice

Nonsense. Yes, that is the magic word for Impact Mailing Club.

There is literally no sense or meaning or even some kind of purpose why they exist in the first place.

They give people a chance to earn money.

But they earn money on what? By recruiting people?

And what do the recruited people do?

    Well, they recruit.

Yes, that’s all there is to this company, recruitment.

    #4 Obsolete system

In this digital age, who even uses the mail? Except of course, if you're sending important documents.

Almost all, if not all people use devices and the internet to communicate or even to pitch business opportunities.

Yes, nothing might still defeat the effect you get when you receive a physical mail because it’s enticing.

But very few people just care about these physical mails.

There’s a good chance that your mail will just end up in the garbage can of the recipient.

A hard fact I should say...

    #5 No income disclosure

Impact Mailing Club does not have an income disclosure to prove that its members earn money.

This shows that maybe the members don’t really earn anything...

#6 Is Impact Mailing Club a pyramid scheme in disguise?

No doubt that Impact Mailing Club is a pyramid scheme in disguise.

Here is how their system works...

    MLM pyramid scheme

In fact, it isn’t in disguise because it is very obvious.

The only way you can make money is by recruiting members. Isn’t just that the exact definition of a pyramid scheme?

My opinion - Impact Mailing Club

I hate to break it up to you, but frankly speaking, there’s really nothing nice I can say about Impact Mailing Club.

You send letters to as many people as you can, hoping that they join the company.

    And they join for what?

To also send letters and hoping they can recruit people to earn money?

Here is what I say about their business opportunity...

Recruitment is the core of Impact Mailing Club, which proves that it’s a pyramid scheme.

And you recruit as many people as you can even if you already know that their chances of earning money are very low.

There are a lot of other business opportunities out there that deal with tangible and legitimate products and services and offer better chances of earning money...

How I make passive income online

MLMs are not scams or illegal.

They sold various products from multiple niches and also paid members for commissions, but in very small amounts.

    What is Fortune Hi-tech Marketing?

Fortune Hi-tech Marketing is a Multi-Level-Marketing company founded back 2001 by Paul Orberson, a businessman.

Not much is known about him prior to starting the company.

However, he started Fortune Hi-tech Marketing with the goal of selling quality products from different industries like tech, entertainment, and communications, and also giving members a chance to make money through direct selling. It started out smoothly. But then, it was...

    Shutdown

Fortune Hi-tech Marketing was shut down in 2013 by the FTC or the Federal Trade Commission.

This was because of many complaints and clear signs that the only way for the members of the company was to recruit people and nothing more.

They also didn’t have their own products. Instead, they just partnered and outsourced their offerings from other companies so that they have something to sell.

Also, more than 80 percent of the money earned by members were sourced from recruitment, and not from sales.

    Court ruling

The national court of justice, along with the initiation of the FTC, charged the company with pyramid scheming and scam operations.

Specifically speaking, Fortune Hi-tech Marketing is banned from engaging in MLM or any business operations. This is after it claims to have coverage over more than 350,000 agents in the US, Canada, and Puerto Rico.

The court also issued a settlement that Fortune Hi-tech Marketing should make due for, which amounts to an initial minimum $7.75 million that should be given back to their members.

However, the total payment they should make to members is $169 million, which they should pay on a specific date.

Here is a 9-minute video that will walk you through the company...

    Current status

Just last 2018, the FTC has already supervised the repayment of 285,361 checks to members, which amounts to more than $3.7 million.

But that is still a small fraction of the total money which should be paid.

Also, note that these payments are from the amendments made by the highest earning members of the company.

It sure is one big mess.

    Let us then learn...

Is Fortune Hi-tech Marketing a pyramid scheme?

Yes, Fortune Hi-tech Marketing is a pyramid scheme.

Although they have a means for members to sell products and earn commissions from it, the amount they make from the selling is just very small.

In fact, it’s just a very low 1% for every sold product. Instead, they focus on recruitment to gain money.

And focusing on recruitment alone, means that it’s a pyramid scheme...

    What is a pyramid scheme?

A company which pays members for recruiting other members into the company. This is what they do instead of selling products or services.

A lot of countries have already banned these kinds of companies because there is no way they can survive by just depending on recruitment alone.

Here is a clear Wikipedia diagram that shows you why this happens...

Members who are making the most money are those who are aggressively recruiting people into the company and telling them about the wonderful business opportunity.

But check back on the diagram and you’ll see that there’s no such thing as a business opportunity here.

Instead, all that’s happening is recruitment. And sooner or  later, members are going to run out of potential members they can get.

Check out this 5-minute video on how to spot a pyramid scheme in disguise...

    But why...

Success is rare with Fortune Hi-tech Marketing

It is very hard to achieve any kind of success when you are with an MLM. And all the more if you are with Fortune Hi-tech Marketing.

According to a statistical report, between  72.5% and 99.9% of MLM members are losing money.

92.3 Percent of Members Lose Money in MLMs

This is due to the high subscription fees and monthly quota they need to maintain for them to stay active and get money.

They also need to buy the products just for them to be active and get money. This is the reason why members have to spend a lot of money before they can get their first ever recruit...

    Hey, I'm Mike.

I created a passive income online within a year. I had no marketing skills or online experience when I started.

How does Fortune Hi-tech Marketing Work?

Fortune Hi-tech Marketing works by selling different kinds of products from various niches such as tech, communications, beauty, health and wellness, and many more.

They also let members sell these products in exchange for commissions they earn from selling.

It’s a winning situation for both sides in theory. But Fortune Hi-tech Marketing is just saving a lot of money from marketing costs because they just let members do all of the hard work.

    Let us then find out...

    Fortune Hi-tech Marketing products

Most MLMs just focus on a single niche. However, it is a totally different story with Fortune Hi-tech Marketing.

It’s because they have different kinds of products from different niches and industries.

It sounds nice, but it’s actually weird because there is in no way a legit company can do this.

What’s more is that they really don’t have their own manufactured product. Instead, they just partner with other legit companies and sell them.

To make it clearer for you, here are some of the companies where they get products from. Their respective niche is also shown:

    Health & Beauty

    • FABS
    • Envy Organics
    • Flying Basset Organics

    Entertainment

    • Magazines.com
    • N2U World Music
    • World Tour Golf Links

    Communications

    • VoiceConnect
    • TCI Long Distance
    • The Wireless Shop
Is Fortune Hi-tech Marketing a Scam: Products

Also note that the company said that they also sell their products in 4 different countries, which are:

    • United States
    • Canada
    • Puerto Rico
    • United Kingdom

It just seems hard to believe considering that they don’t have an original product that they made and that these claims aren’t backed up by anything.

It’s no wonder why the FTC found it easy to label them as a scam...

You might then want to check out this 3-minute video about whatever it is they were offering before:

So, let's move forward and learn...

Can you make money with Fortune Hi-tech Marketing?

Yes, but maybe just for some time. And then, you’re going to lose lots of money later…

That’s what the majority of the members said, which made it even easier for the FTC to shut them down over complaints of being a pyramid scheme scam.

They do not even have an income disclosure to show their members make money.

How to make money with Fortune Hi-tech Marketing

There are 2 ways to make money from this company:

    • Sell their outsourced products
    • Recruit members into the company

Yes, you do these 2 things. But selling products will just technically give you a few cents, which is basically just none.

So that leaves you with just the recruitment...

How much does it cost to join Fortune Hi-tech Marketing?

Very little is known about the costs of joining, maybe because Fortune Hi-tech Marketing already removed them or maybe they just don’t want to share specific details about their company because they know there’s something fishy going on…

Nonetheless, there is this 1 info I found which says that members should pay $200 to become an official agent member of the company....

    Fortune Hi-tech Marketing monthly cost

Members should maintain 130 PV monthly for them to be active and to receive money.

And here are the costs members incurred in 1 year…

    • $200
    • $130 to $400 x 12

    Minimum costs for year 1 = $1,760 to $5,000

I know… it’s just very massive and high.

And note that this does not yet include other costs like training, marketing and miscellaneous costs.

    Fortune Hi-tech Marketing compensation plan

Fortune Hi-tech Marketing, just like any other MLM, has a very complex compensation plan.

But there is no need to fret, because I am going to simplify it so that you can easily understand it.

Fortune Hi-tech Marketing offers you 2 main ways of earning money as their agent member:

    • Retail Commission - Earn 0.25% to 1% commission for every item you sell. The value depends on your current level.
    • Recruitment Commission - You earn a specific percentage or amount every time you recruit a member. But I can’t seem to find any reliable information as to the exact amount.
Is Fortune Hi-tech Marketing a Scam: Compensation

In simpler words, it just all boils down to 2 things, which are:

    • Selling products
    • Recruiting people to join the company

They don’t even have an official compensation plan document to prove that they are legit, real, and can pay members correctly.

Well, that’s just another clear sign that they are a scam...

Here is a 2-minute video to supplement your learning about this company's compensation bundle...

    So...

Is Fortune Hi-tech Marketing a scam?

Yes, Fortune Hi-tech Marketing is a scam.

The company is already shut down by the FTC after it was confirmed that it is a downright pyramid scheme.

Sales commissions are very low, it’s even easier to dismiss them as intangible.

They also got loads of misleading claims about the profitability of their so called business opportunity, even if there is really none.

The next section of this review is going to dive deeper into the facts of this failed MLM and why they were shut down in 2013 in the first place...

What I like about Fortune Hi-tech Marketing

I usually have something to say about MLMs that I review. But in this case, there is none.

First off, is that it’s already very clear that there’s nothing nice about this company because it’s already closed and is confirmed as an outright scam...

    Key Terms:

    • Pyramid Scheme – recruits members via a promise for payment from recruiting others into the company rather than providing a product
    • Affiliate Marketing- Connecting a customer to a product they are looking for and receiving a commission for doing so
    • Red Flag - A warning sign

What I don't like about Fortune Hi-tech Marketing

    #1 Already shut down

Fortune Hi-tech Marketing was already shut down back in 2014.

Is Fortune Hi-tech Marketing a Scam: Cons

The Federal Trade Commission or FTC is the one that closed it for good.

This is after claims of it being a pyramid scheme was confirmed numerous times.

You may think it's rare to see a MLM running without actually selling any real products. But here are some other MLMs that don't offer any product at all and only focus on recruiting (*cough* pyramid schemes *cough*):

    #2 Expensive subscription

Subscribing as a member is expensive as it will cost you $200 back then.

This is far from the usual $30 to $50 subscription fee of most MLMs. But this does not matter anymore because it’s already closed.

    #3 Lacks vital information

Fortune Hi-tech Marketing does not have a compensation plan document and an income disclosure.

Most of the information I got from the compensation plan are from second-hand accounts of former members who got scammed.

Their income disclosure is also non-existent, which shows there’s something wrong going on with the company...

    #4 Hidden monthly expenses

Members should sell 200 PV monthly, or in other words, sell $200 worth of products in a month.

    This shows what really happens...

Is Fortune Hi-tech Marketing a Scam: Cons 2

Doing this and maintaining the quota makes them an active member and allows them to get the commissions and bonuses they worked hard for.

But if they can’t, then they have no other choice but to just buy the products for themselves.

This just defeats the purpose of making money from selling, right?

#5 Is Fortune Hi-tech Marketing a pyramid scheme in disguise?

No doubt that Fortune Hi-tech Marketing is a pyramid scheme in disguise.

    MLM pyramid scheme

Although they have a way where members can make money by selling the products, the amount they get from it is just very minuscule, it’s good as nothing.

So, where does the income come from?

    Well, from the recruits...

    #6 Downward trend

    Google Trends showed me this...

Is Fortune Hi-tech Marketing a Scam: Cons 3

Very few people are searching for Fortune Hi-tech Marketing on the internet. This means that people are not anymore interested in it.

And if ever you are still hoping this company will come back, I tell you… it won’t, with all the details and information out there, the chances of this coming back, or another company like this popping up is very minimal...

Fortune Hi-tech Marketing is no good...

It is as simple as that.

The company is already closed because it has been proven to be a pyramid scheme and scam back in 2014.

And now that you know that it’s already closed and how it operated back then, you’ll then have the wisdom and knowledge to discern which companies out there are worth your time.

Not only do you make money just by means of recruitment, but you still do this and recruit as many people as you can even if you already know they won’t make any money.

Well, that was before the company was shut down...

There are a lot of better business opportunities out there that you may try...

    Mike Beatty 0:00
Hey guys, it’s Mike from Make Time Online and today I’m going to be talking all about the dream 100 and how it can help you actually grow your business and your blog.

Now there are some things that I kind of fun to share in this podcast today is just going to be just me you’re not I’m not gonna have any special guests or anything like that for today’s podcast. But um, there’s something that’s kind of come up recently, I’ve seen it in multiple places, which really weird actually first heard of like the dream 100 concepts from Brendon Hufford, who was talking about backlinks and getting you know how you can boost your authority of your website. He kind of went into a bit of detail, you can go and check out that podcast just type in Brendan Hufford or Brendan SEO, into wherever you listen to this podcast on. And he basically was kind of saying how a really good way and a way that’s really works well for him and his clients and things like that in the past is about actually connecting with people that you want backlinks from. So rather than just sending spam emails out, and I’m sure if you have any kind of website you have received when these emails before, maybe you’re one of those people that send those emails anyway, that’s a chat for another time. He kind of goes into detail about how if you actually get to know someone first, and that’s the find out, you know, learn a bit more about them, find ways that you can help them, you’re going to be much, it’s going to be much more likely to be able to get like a backlink or, you know, people just sharing your work and things like that. Anyway, I then read a book called Traffic Secrets just recently, by Russell Brunson, if you don’t know him, he’s the guy of clickfunnels. I’m not saying that anyone. To be honest, I think far too many people just jump into clickfunnels. The thing is that answers all their problems. Click Funnels is a tool, like so many other things. I mean, like thrive architect Thrive Leads basically can pretty much do the same sort of stuff as Click Funnels. And it’s a fraction of the cost. But again, another story for another time. But his book was really insightful, I thought, because it pretty much just spoke about the dream 100 it’s called Traffic Secrets. But it should really just be called dream 100. And it’s a model that actually, any movie uses people that release books, businesses use it all the time. And it can also be used for websites or blogs, which is what the bit that I obviously found that quite interesting. And again, the principles pretty simple. If you think of any chat show you’ve ever watched before, chances are the people that you see on that chat show, have either a book or a movie or TV series or something that’s either just come out or about to come out. And the reason that they are on these chat shows is because the chat show host and their audience is part of their dream 100 you can’t see I’m doing quote marks. When I do that sometimes forget this is a podcast.

the whole point is that if you can, whatever your businesses, whatever your if it’s a blog, yes, it is a bit, if you’re trying to monetize it, it is a business. And the sooner you can get that in your head, the better. I’ve learned this the hard way, and I’m still struggle with it today, to be totally honest. But if you can, whatever it is, let’s just say you’re in the gardening niche, and you have a blog website all about gardening with tips and tricks and, you know, recommending the best tools and things like that. And maybe you also have, eventually you’re thinking of sort of creating, how to grow your own vegetable garden, in your backyard, you know, that could be a product eventually, or something like that. Or maybe you already have it, your audience already exists. It’s not like you’ve created this amazing, groundbreaking new invention. And then you need to try and put people together. There are already hundreds or thousands or hundreds of thousands, millions of people out there that would be interested in what you’re talking about. For a start, I would be interested in that. I mean, I don’t really do much gardening or anything like that, but always been interested in actually growing a vegetable garden and I will at some stage. So if you could package stuff up and get it in front of me or hundreds of millions of people. They’re already ready to buy and ready to spend money on what it is that you have. So a really good way to sort of shortcut this routes into trying to build this audience. You’ve probably heard this numerous times about building your audience and you heard it tonnes of times about growing your email list. It’s not growing your email list, which is the important bit Yeah, sure. The numbers We that people almost get caught in like the vanity metrics of how many email subscribers they have, and stuff like that, that doesn’t matter. The point is that you are growing your audience and actually reaching out to your audience on a regular basis, that’s the more important thing to dream. 100 is a way that if you could think of some celebrities or other than big websites, or other businesses that have your exact audience that you’re looking for, and you can get in front of them, then there’s a way to sort of speed up the process of growing your own audience. So just for example, if you had a YouTube channel, and you’re doing all about your gardening and things like that, you could just go to YouTube, find other YouTube gardening shows, and find a way that you can actually, you know, reach out to them, and potentially collaborate on something. So you might say to them, hey, what if we do like, you know, it could be a video, if you’re both doing YouTube, then you know that they’re used to doing video, maybe you do a video where you can work together, and you can go through a process of actually planting or growing a certain type of crop, which maybe they don’t even have content on. The aim really is to find something that you can actually help them as well. That’s the key, if you can help them. And then if you do that, and you create a video and you say I would love to share it on my YouTube channel and things like that. And so you put on your YouTube channel, maybe as well, there’s even something that they would then like to potentially ever to share on their YouTube channel, or they’re just going to tell their audience, maybe they’ve got an email list and things like that is a good chance. They’re just going to send people to your channel. So you’re actually rather than thinking of it in your head, like, how can I get in front of them? How can I get them to give me a backlink and things like that, if you can change that thinking in your head to how can I help these people that already have my audience, then it just becomes easy, the backlinks, the sharing the building your audience, all that stuff becomes much easier. And this is something I’ve actually been doing in recent weeks. It’s actually something that I kind of subconsciously have been doing since I even started this podcast. I didn’t know exactly what I was doing when I first started this podcast, but I knew that I wanted to speak to more people doing this kind of stuff, because for a start, I wanted to learn from them. But also I wanted to share what I was learning with other people. It’s not like I just wanted to, like keep everything for myself. And so that’s, that’s a big reason of why I started the podcast. And I’ve it’s happened numerous times, I’ve had, you know, some quite big guests on, you know, people that have like million dollar earners each year and things like that. And quite often when I record a podcast with them, you know, I try and

get really good information out from them and things like that as much as possible. And they were, there’s a good chance that they go and share it with either their email list or their website, their blog, or their social media channels and things like that. And slowly over time, you can start to build your own audience almost using their audience. So the one key takeaway I want you to take today, I don’t want you to just kind of listen to this thing. Oh, yeah, that sounds quite interesting. You could obviously go and read Traffic Secrets, or check out Brendan’s blog post, which is hold on bear with me. The beauty of recording a podcast, I just looked up Brendon hufford.com, forward slash dream dash 100, you could just go and check that out for free right now. And I think even Traffic Secrets, he kind of claims that the books free, but it’s not, you have to pay for shipping and stuff like that. So anyways, probably under $10. It’s not a bad price at all for the information that you get. And he goes into Lowe’s actually, in his book, he goes into loads of detail as well about how you can actually reach out to these people, and how you can sort of build your social media channels to help you do that, rather than getting bombarded with loads of stuff that is distracting you, which is what if you’ve ever been on Instagram, happens all the time, then you can actually use it as a tool to kind of reach out to some of the people that you would like to connect with and you know, that are part of your dream 100. So the one thing though, that I really, really, really want you to do, if you’re in the car or something and just make a note of this. If you’re at home and you’re able to get a pen and paper right now. Just just do this right now. Just brainstorm. Think of the people websites, businesses that already have your audience, there’s a good chance if you’ve been working on your blog or business, whatever it is for any length of time. You already know the people that have a very big following that are in your space. So you know, just for example, gardeners I don’t really know many gardeners, but I did use the watch there was this one in this programme in the UK, what was it called? A ground force. And it was like Charlie Dimmock, Tommy something and Alan Titchmarsh, anyway, these names might not mean anything to you, especially if you’re from the US, but it’s probably the same sort of people in the US. I know, like with that, with my very limited knowledge, I know they are huge in the gardening space, sort of things that they would be like, top of the list. But you don’t just want to make up your hundred list of these people that are like top top top dogs, because there’s a good chance, you’re going to find it hard to actually get on their radar at all. So you split your list almost up into, I just think the easiest way to do this is to split into thirds, try and get like a third, you know, so about 33 people that are would be amazing, if you could get any kind of like connection with their audience and things like that, then right 33 people that are kind of, you know, that are doing pretty well, but they’re still like not as well known as those top 33. And then get about 33 people that you think are around the same sort of level as you, you know, that are in your same niche. And you’re going to have a similar sort of audience, but you know, they’re not much further ahead, or they might even be a little bit behind maybe from where you are. And that is a great way to come up with your dream 100. And once you get that list of 100 people or businesses or websites, whatever it is, then that’s where you can then just start to like, make sure we add all their social media channels and things like that, see what kind of content they’re putting out, comment on there, share their stuff, interact with it, don’t just go in for the kill and say, Hey, can I get a backlink that’s never going to well, it does work if you are playing the numbers game and sending thousands of emails every day. But this is a much more like sniper approach. And you’re really trying to target people. And I’d I would actually suggest as well, you start with those people at the same sort of level as you and just see if there’s, there’s a good chance if you approach it in a way where you sort of stay any chance you need some help with your SEO? Like, is there any Have you got any articles, which you find are really valuable that you’d liked, like to be shared or something like that. And you could even just be that you share it, maybe you find a place where it links really well with an article that you’re writing and you give it a natural backlink, you’re not forcing it, never just force it. But then if you do that, and don’t even ask for anything in return, then

you’re on their radar, you know, like that’s, that’s a great starting point. But there’s a good chance they may share it with their audience or share something that you’ve done with your, with their audience as well, or potentially even just go and find a place where you have a really good article that links really well with another article that they have. It’s just, it’s just kind of like learning how people work. And it’s just, it was a bit of a lightbulb moment when I learned anyway, so I just wanted to share it. There is a lot more that I could talk about this. And it is worth a book in itself, which is why there’s kind of a book that already exists, and blog posts and things like that, which I’ve just kind of mentioned. So I’m just gonna kind of leave it there. But definitely do take that bit of action today. Don’t just think I’m going to do it in the future, just fine. Even if it’s just 10 minutes, just have a brainstorm, just write down some things, it really helps. It really helped me anyway. So I’m sure it will help you as well. So the next thing I just kind of wanted to say is that I am going to be taking a break from make time to make time online podcast. In case you don’t know, I have a two month old baby now. Little baby Laila who’s super cute. And yeah, babies take up time. And I find that it’s you just slightly sleep deprived most of the time, although she actually sleeps really well at night. But anyway. And also, I’ve actually kind of I’m going to be taken on a bit of a new project very, very soon. I’m actually in the research phase right now. And the plan is actually with this website, I am planning to outsource as much as possible. So I’m excited to share like my results and things like that with this new website, and this new project and kind of like share how I go about outsourcing it. And the plan is to kind of use the income that have already started generating from a timeline and my health site as well on my wife and I health site, which are you know, they’ve got to pretty good stage. And it’s actually through a coaching. I’ve had a few coaching calls with a friend of a friend recently and he’s been so helpful and NyQuil yet he’s just been so it’s kind of helped me clarify what I am actually trying to achieve. And rather than just being on like this hamster wheel of always just trying to get something out each week. I’m going to be a lot more structured with the podcast when it does come back because isn’t it I’m not going away forever. With the podcast, there’s far too many cool things that I actually already have in the bag with some other cool chats coming up very, very soon. But I just want it to come across, I want it to be a bit more organised in the way that I give you the information and things like that, just some feedback and things that I’ve got, which actually, funnily enough, leads me on to the next point, which is, if you do have any feedback, or if you have any questions, particularly you have any questions, go over to Mike, Mike, go over to make time online.com forward slash, ask. And you can actually ask me a question. It’s just a little voice recording, you only needs to be in a 90 seconds, I think is Max, but 30 seconds is more than enough. Just ask a question, I will receive it, I will send you a response back, just put in your name and email address with everything you even have to put your email address in. But if you do want a response back from me, then it’s a good idea to do that. Because I can actually just send you the answer. So you’re not waiting until this actually gets released as a podcast. And yeah, that is actually a very exciting new thing that I do have coming up, which will hopefully help give you more of a voice as well as people that are listening, because I do notice lots of people that sometimes just listen to this and don’t always, yeah, don’t always find a way to like, get in contact with me. So this is a quite a nice way anyway, just to see, if you’ve got any questions.

I’m not necessarily always gonna know every answer. I don’t claim to be some guru or anything like that with all this stuff. But I can guarantee, I will know someone that either knows it, or know someone that knows someone that knows someone that knows it, if you know what I mean. And I will find out the answer for you to save you the hassle of having to trust, try and find everything out by yourself. And I will just give you my opinion, if nothing else, at the end of the day. And so we’re just wanting to leave this as well then, with sharing every review that I’ve had recently, and there’s been loads of reviews on the podcast, and I just haven’t ever actually done them. So I figured there’s people that sometimes leave these reviews, I read them, I read every single one. I’m like, Oh, this is really cool. And then I don’t do anything with it. So I figured I’d read this one out. And this one comes from J Lu j Lu 767565. Buy Apple podcasts in the United States. And she says, Why say she could be He, he says he says Mike always gives so much value in this podcast and his blog. If you’re looking for expert advice about blogging and online marketing, this is your go to. Now, I think that’s such a cool review. Thank you so much for that review. I had, like I say, I read every single one that I get, but I don’t always share them. So I’m going to start doing that a bit more in the podcast. So if you do have anything that you’d like to say about the podcast, head over to you can just find it is normally on Apple podcasts or iTunes as it kind of used to be called. And you can review anything, anything that you want to say it can be a one star, two star, but any feedback you give really helps because then it helps me actually know what is useful, and what people actually like. So the more specific, the better 100%. Anyway, that’s quite a lot to take in. And just a quick 20 minute podcast. But so just to summarise some of the things that I’ve just kind of said there. Number one, if you’re not doing anything else, number one, please do just make a list of some of the people websites or authorities in your space in your niche or in your website, whatever it is that you are already building. And that will just help you to start to get some ideas from what they’re already doing any if nothing else. And also, it’s a great way to actually help grow your audience yourself. Number two was that I’m going to be taking a break for just a couple of months. And I will still be recording podcasts in this time, but it’s just to get the next phase of the podcast lined up a little bit better. And I have a few more things on my plate in a minute. So it’s just prioritising things like that. Number three is make time online.com forward slash, ask to ask any questions that you want to be answered. Like I say, I will find someone if I don’t know the answer, but I will always give you my opinion. And so it’s just a nice way for you to actually get yourself heard on a podcast as well. And feel free to share that with anyone you want. And number four, review, if you can leave a review on Apple podcasts and that’s great. Like I say it can be one star, two star whatever. All feedback is so helpful to actually progress the podcast forward and thank you So much for listening. Thanks for listening in to this episode of Make time online. Be sure to subscribe to our podcast so you don’t miss any future episodes. And please take a moment to write a review for our podcast in the App Store. keep changing for the better guys. Take care

How I make passive income online

MLMs are not scams or illegal.

Above all, Google really prioritises user experience. So when someone lands on your article, it should be really easy for the reader to understand and find out the answers to what they were searching for on your page right away. Some examples of that user experience is a planet page, pop ups to the left and right or even a super lengthy article that does not talk about what your title promises at all. Hey guys,

    Unknown Speaker 0:27
    it’s Mike from

    Mike Beatty 0:28
Make Time Online. And today we’re joined by Isabel long from Bell around the world.com.

So, Isabel has been a full time traveller since basically since 2018. started travelling in 2015. And as he was travelling, she kind of just kept this diary blog online. Have some of the things that she was doing and some of the places that she was going to. And then it wasn’t until that she realised, you know, so as most of us kind of normally do, she was putting out lots of effort on social media and things like that and trying to get traffic to our blog. But it wasn’t until she stumbled across SEO, that you realise that this could really be a business, blogging could actually become a business. And she’s basically ended up using SEO search engine optimization to get ranked on Google for certain keywords to actually build an online business for herself over time. And what she’s ended up doing is kind of sharing a lot of this information about what she’s learned about SEO. And yet and created like a free course which I will link will be in the show notes but if you do want to just check that out to get the free course it’s Bell around the world comm forward slash free dash SEO dash costs. And like I say that will be in the show notes for this podcast, which is going to be make time online comm forward slash 74. In this chat, she gives away so much of a so much value and so much information about how anyone can start improving their SEO. So if you’d like to learn a bit more about search engine optimization, this is definitely a really good chapter listen to and as always, if you just want to find the key takeaways I took from the podcast, you can jump to the end and I’ll summarise the key bits. If not enjoy this one guys. So, Isabel, can you tell me about one of your favourite travel moments that you’ve had?

    Unknown Speaker 2:41
Yeah, so it’s when I went on a working holiday to New Zealand. So it was kind of like my first time being able to live work and travel abroad abroad for an extended period of time for a good six months. So because this is the one country where I left the longest outside of my home country, Singapore. So I was working in a small Glazier town. And I was literally living in the countryside. Totally a different experience from being at home in the city. So like on my off days, I would take a helicopter up to the Glazier work and go ice climbing.

    Unknown Speaker 3:21
Yeah. Was this in the South Island then? I’m guessing.

    Unknown Speaker 3:24
Yeah. In the South Island. Yeah, it was folks Glazier to be specific. Wow.

    Mike Beatty 3:29
Yeah. sounds incredible. And so what year would that have been?

    Unknown Speaker 3:33
    Oh, 28 in

    Mike Beatty 3:35
2018. Yeah. So it’s not that long ago, then there’s only Yeah.

    Unknown Speaker 3:41
Yes, definitely very close to my heart, because I was able to really immerse myself in nature.

    Mike Beatty 3:47
Yeah. So what were you doing before you went travelling then?

    Unknown Speaker 3:52
Oh, before I was travelling, I was working in a social media agency after graduating I did that for a bit. And then I was also working at a PR agency for a bit. But like every, like what every 21 year old, that’s it’s always been about like studying in uni. And then I was doing a bit of freelance writing on the side as well. And I’ve always been blogging, but more as a personal journal, rather than as a business.

    Mike Beatty 4:26
Right. Okay. So I’m guessing then that’s how you kind of started Bell around the world was that around the same time? 2018

    Unknown Speaker 4:35
Hmm. It was earlier in 2015. So I had this opportunity to go on an international school exchange, which was something I really wanted to do by now studying. So it began with a one way trip to a continent, Europe that I’ve never been to before back then. And it was my first solo trip as a student. So it’s really kind of the turning point for me as it opened me up to, like the whole unpredictability and instability of life, and showed me that you can really ever plan for everything. And it’s just best to be open to all the possibilities and embrace uncertainties.

    Mike Beatty 5:21
Yeah, I mean, I don’t know about you, but I find every time we go travelling anywhere, you just meet so many, like people from completely different cultures and different walks of life. And it just makes you realise how every time we go anywhere, we realise how little you actually need to live in life. And I think when you’re just based in one city or one place for a set period of time, you end up getting this keeping up with the Joneses and stuff really don’t. Whereas when you’re travelling, it’s like people just have quite often places we go like people have nothing and they’re just still so happy and you know, living life absolutely fine. So Kind of. Yeah, it’s a real eye opener anyway, I think.

    Unknown Speaker 6:03
    Yeah, exactly.

    Mike Beatty 6:06
So, obviously, you started the blog. And I think it would became a time was that or can you tell me about a day where you realise the importance of using search engine optimization, because I know that something that you, you know, quite a lot about.

    Unknown Speaker 6:24
Yeah. So in the beginning, I didn’t really know much about blogging, it was really just a platform for me to express my to share my journeys during my travels and share my pictures back then. I don’t think Instagram was a big thing yet. So it was really just about a lot of content creation. And then as the years went on, I found that Ooh, blogging can actually be a business. So that’s when I started to toy with the idea of taking blogging seriously and reading up about you know, the waste of waste to go to traffic. So right in the beginning, there was nobody who, who would know about my blog, right? So I was constantly having to share my articles on social media, like Pinterest, Facebook, Instagram, it’s all about active traffic. So it was really a very time consuming process. Yeah. And then over time, because I had all my articles already on my blog, I started randomly getting traffic, even though I wasn’t actively sharing anything. And then that’s when I found out about this thing called search engine optimization, SEO. And this is where I realised that was when this is what organic traffic is about and how when Google started showing my articles for specific keywords that people are searching for, and I really love this method of getting traffic because it’s evergreen Which means to say that the traffic will keep coming in for posts that are written maybe two, three years ago, at a traffic volume that was even more than I ever got when I was spending hours actively sharing all my posts on social.

    Mike Beatty 8:17
Yeah. So obviously, you was it just by accident that you ended up getting some traffic from from Google and things like that, or was it? Did you start actually like, putting out content that you were specifically targeting for certain keywords?

    Unknown Speaker 8:33
Yeah, originally it was by accident. And then when I learned about it, I learned about this whole topic about SEO. That’s when I started shifting the whole blogging into something that’s more less of what I would write randomly and more focusing on keywords. So researching keywords that are low competition, but also high in demand, and then start writing Doing accordingly based on these keywords,

    Mike Beatty 9:03
yeah, I mean, I know so many people when they start, start using SEO, they it kind of makes sense, isn’t it to go for low competition, but high volume keywords and things like that. But a question that so many people will probably be having is, how do you actually find low competition and high volume keywords?

    Unknown Speaker 9:25
Well, you can go through different keyword research tools, one of the tool that I really like to use and that is really affordable. It’s one of the tools that I started investing in the beginning is key search. And that really gives you a lot of information. It’s more than enough information to find out related keywords and longtail keywords across the same topic. And it shows the competition level and whether you have a chance to rank with this seven key What’s on? Oh,

    Mike Beatty 10:01
yeah. keysearch is about was about $10 a month. Is that right? I think right now it’s about 1717. Okay, cool. Yeah, no, I have heard a lot about keysearch. I’ve never really used it myself. But ya know, I think it’s such an important thing, isn’t it to have some sort of tool. But you do hear, like different people, there’s often people saying, you know, you don’t always need a keyword research tool, because, you know, they, they’re not hundred percent accurate. They’re kind of always looking at history and things like that. So are there any other little tips that you could give someone if they don’t want to have a keyword research tool? Or they’re still not sure if they they want to do that? Is there any other ways that you can kind of find some keywords that they might be suited for them?

    Unknown Speaker 10:51
Yeah, for sure. So if let’s say you were to go on Google search, and you keyed in a general keyword, you could Probably with the search suggests it usually comes. So for instance, let’s say you were searching or podcasts to listen to. And sometimes there would be under the search suggests there would be other longtail keywords that are more specific to that keyword search term that you were looking for that you can possibly use, because they’re more specific, they are more long term. And then when you search for those terms, you can always take a look at the first page of Google and see if there are already very established websites that are ranking on the first page because if they are already ranking, if they’re already very established websites, the chances of you ranking on the first page would then probably be pretty slim. Yeah, and then the other thing I like to do is, if you scroll down right to the end of the Google search page, you can There’s always this snippet that says, Searches related to the keyword term that you’re searching. So there are other free keywords, suggestions that you can also pick up from there. Yeah.

    Mike Beatty 12:12
And just on that point, that’s about the whole finding out if websites established on page one, do what do you do to find out like that how established a website is because I know, there’s different ways that people do that.

    Unknown Speaker 12:26
Yeah, there are free tools like Moz yet you can go to to search the domain authority. So all you need to do is to register an account and it gives you 10 free searches a month. So you can just simply pick out those websites that might or might not be established, put it in, it will generate the statistics, the domain authority and page authority of that website. And then you can use it to benchmark against yours and figure out how much more competent There is, oh, by the way, that website is similarly, similar to yours in terms of authority.

    Mike Beatty 13:07
Yeah, actually what I do with them Moz as well, I use the Chrome extension. And then if you click on that it comes up. So rather than having to type them all in on that page one, it gives you a like an overview of the domain authority, like quite quickly. So that’s something that I’ve kind of used for a while now. And I just find this just a quick way, rather than having to like keep typing things into the mods. It’s just a quick way to get a glance of how, like you say how authoritative different websites are on page one. So I think that’s a really good tip actually, and something that a lot of people don’t know. And once you find that one out, I think it’s a big game changer.

    Unknown Speaker 13:47
    Yeah, for sure.

    Mike Beatty 13:49
So can you give us like a bit of an insight into how much traffic and stuff you started getting when you started using SEO and like how it kind of stuff To build and but what happened to your website at that time?

    Unknown Speaker 14:05
Mm hmm. So, um, I can use this one page as an example, there was this affiliate affiliate generating post that I optimised really well, it was where I was recommending affiliate products, such as where to stay in a particular city. So in that three months since I first published it, I was able to grow it from zero to 500 views. Now that might seem quite literal on the surface, but because it was an affiliate generating post, I was able to generate commissions every day from people clicking through to through my links and purchasing and booking hotels that I recommend it. So yeah, it’s a really seamless way. I only had to do my research and publish a well written post in the beginning, and then I can just leave it to be so everything else that happened after traffic and the affiliate revenue that just happened on autopilot. So that’s a really big SEO win, in my opinion. Nice. Yeah.

    Mike Beatty 15:09
So you is, like you say it’s an affiliate generated post. So I’m guessing then it was like, all like you say it was the hotels and stuff that you were recommending? Did you just kind of use that big providers? You know, like hope, hotels.com and trivago? Or did you kind of find like a, a more niche or, you know, like a specific Hotel in the area?

    Unknown Speaker 15:31
Yes. So with my audience, they were more receptive to booking.com and agoda. So that those are the two main hotel booking platforms that I use on my website. So it’s really about understanding your reader behaviour as well and trying to fit that into a well written, informative article that can really provide value to them.

    Mike Beatty 15:55
Yeah, hundred percent, and actually just kind of on that point, I’ve heard what You know, like the big cuts and stuff that Amazon has done recently and things like that people saying, oh, Amazon, is it really worth it anymore? I personally do feel like the platforming or sending someone to can make a huge difference. So if they already have a booking.com account or agoda, or Amazon account, people quite often more likely to purchase from those websites, even though they might have lower commissions and things like that. And I think sometimes people overlook them. Because you could find you know, if you, if you went to a specific Hotel in say Istanbul and Robin in that using booking.com, you could potentially get a commission if you if you recommend a certain type of hotel, and the commission might be much greater than booking.com or something like that. However, you’ve got to take into consideration like how many people like convert and actually go through one click on the link how many people actually purchase? And so um, yeah, I think that’s A huge little affiliate marketing thing. That is just there’s no right or wrong way. I don’t personally think but I don’t know, what’s your what’s your kind of take on on that on using affiliate marketing?

    Unknown Speaker 17:13
Yeah. So it really very much depends on what your reader behaviour is. So if let’s say I’m talking about hotel bookings, and there are so many booking platforms like trivago, like Hotels Combined. But then, with my audience, if I were to take them to a platform that they don’t usually use, and they don’t, they are not familiar with their likelihood of conversion is definitely going to be lower as if I were to take them to a platform that they frequently use and they already trust this brand. So even with Amazon, even with the lower Commission’s if my audience who are largely American, they’re already very familiar with me. is on and some of them use it on day to day basis. So while you while it’s good to try and balance the lower commission with what the audience wants, it’s also important to really understand and serve the needs of my audience.

    Mike Beatty 18:18
Yeah, definitely. And I know you just kind of said about with your SEO post on your affiliate product. I mean, that’s kind of is it just is a great way to actually monetize a post and it’s almost like recurring commission because if you can get on page one of Google, then it’s gonna sort like you say, it’s gonna last there for a bit longer. Have you got any other like little tips or tricks or other quick wins or something for someone that’s already got a website established? And they might be getting a little bit of traffic from Seo? Maybe they’re not even aware of this right now. But is there anything that they can do? You know, just to kind of optimise all that Quick little tips that people could do today’s all thing.

    Unknown Speaker 19:05
Yeah, so beyond the traditional standard tips, you hear about SEO all the time on building links and building authority, those are really valid. But some of the other lesser known SEO advice that I usually share with my students in my SEO course is to utilise categories and tags in accordance to your article topics. So it’s a really simple process, but something that’s really neglected among many bloggers that I noticed. And then the other thing you mentioned with affiliate links, it’s also important to put nofollow text with the affiliate links that you are hyperlinking on your blog. And above all, Google really prioritises user experience. So when someone lands on your article, it should be really easy for the reader to understand and find out The answers to what they were searching for on your page right away. So some examples of that user experience is a candidate page pop ups to the left and right. Or even a super lengthy article that does not talk about what your title promises at all.

    Mike Beatty 20:18
Yeah, that’s that’s really important point, actually, as well, I guess is the whole user intent because you could write an amazing article on, let’s say, how word dog, how to teach your dog how to sit, and you could put like the best article ever about that. But if your headline is something like calling back your dog or something, or dog training tips or something like generic, then we’re not necessarily always going to rank for that keyword that you’re actually writing for. So yeah, I think that’s a really important thing that you just said there about actually answering the question and doing it quickly as well. I’ve noticed them a lot of people Often, because they want to keep people on the page will often, you know, put the answer to the question further down or, you know, say carry on reading to find out or something like that. Whereas a Google was getting like, I’ve Well, from what I’ve seen anyway, Google’s getting smarter and smarter. And if you can answer that question quickly, it actually keeps people on the page, because then they want to find out why that is the answer, if you know what I mean.

    Unknown Speaker 21:27
Yeah, that’s right. totally right. I mean, Google looks at bounce rate as well. So if somebody clicks in data and see the answer to what they were looking forward, they will click out again, and just based on all these metrics and bounce rate, Google can understand the reader behaviour.

    Mike Beatty 21:45
Yeah, definitely. I think it’s a like you say it’s just so so important as well. Have you got any other like tools or trainings or something like that, that you’ve been through that’s helped to grow your business to where it is today.

    Unknown Speaker 22:02
Well, there is a lot of free resources online that are available these days. So for me it was reading a lot of articles and listening to podcasts like this one, and then picking out what’s relevant and applying it to my logging business.

    Mike Beatty 22:19
Who have you got any examples of like really good articles or podcasts or anything?

    Unknown Speaker 22:26
I really like so, of course the famous one like the famous ones like Amy Porterfield and then the Smart Passive income, because that’s been some of the offer really helpful tips in terms of email marketing and Pinterest tips. really all about digital marketing?

    Mike Beatty 22:47
Yeah, I think right. Well, yeah, Pat Flynn’s one that is a it’s a really good one as well, isn’t it? But yeah, no does this I think like you say there’s so much free information out there. But do find as well that just only taking the free information can almost lead you a little bit like with information overload and just a bit spread thin, if you know what I mean. So I know as well that you actually have your own SEO course. And is that quite new is quite new courses it. Yeah, it’s

    Unknown Speaker 23:19
been launched a few months ago. So it’s catered to online content creators who were, I guess, was struggling with ranking on Google. And they’re just overwhelmed with all this information. So it’s a really streamlined course that guides the students step by step to to streamline their website and make it the most Google friendly so that the crawlers can understand what the articles are about and rank them accordingly to the keywords that they’re optimising.

    Mike Beatty 23:56
Yeah, brilliant. I see. I just just thought you did mention very briefly. about building links and you know, gaining authority and things like that have Is there any ways because I know so many people, there’s also there’s a bit of a debate about whether link building is even, you know, you should even spend time doing it. Because if you write good content and things like that, eventually over time, people will end up linking back to you. And if you write, you know, things that people want to link to, then it can kind of happen naturally. But I didn’t know what your take was on link building, and if you’ve got any other quick things that people could potentially do to to improve their backlinks and things like that.

    Unknown Speaker 24:37
So backlinking is one of the major factors that Google takes into consideration. So that is something that I emphasise as well in my course. And with the latest tips that I’ve just sent to my email subscribers, I was telling them this trick to gaining a lot of backlinks in a short time short period of time, and that is through checking out your competitors press pages, because sometimes they wouldn’t list interview opportunities that they’ve done, or top x blocks that they have been listed in. So for example, if you were podcast, and you want it to be classified as one of the best podcasts of 2020. So sometimes by going to these competitors press pages, you’ll be able to see these kinds of listicles that they’re part of, and then you can use this as an opportunity to reach out to the site owner who have published that listicle. And possibly, and to possibly consider you for your for the next top podcast of 2020.

    Mike Beatty 25:55
That’s a great idea. I definitely need to do that. Just type into Google best podcaster 2020. Yeah. Right when Yeah, yeah. And the list goes on there.

    Unknown Speaker 26:09
Yeah, that’s one way. if let’s say if that’s a listicle post that you’re looking to be included in, but of course, there are also interview opportunities. Like if you were to go to a competitor’s page, and they’ve been interviewed by some other big name publications like Business Insider, then you’re probably be able to, I mean, it’s kind of like reverse engineering where going where you’re going to all these competitors pages to see where they’ve been interviewed in and then going to those publications that interviewed them to possibly pitch your own brand and your brand story to them.

    Mike Beatty 26:54
That’s a great idea as well. How do you find out about like your competitors backlinks

    Unknown Speaker 27:00
    Sorry, again,

    Mike Beatty 27:01
how do you find out where your competitors have got like interviews or backlinks from?

    Unknown Speaker 27:07
Yeah. So you can either do it through keyword search, keyword research tools like key search, or you can simply do a Google search on your competitors, like an interview piece on a certain competitor. So really just googling what your competitors where your competitors are featured on. Right? Yeah,

    Mike Beatty 27:31
yeah, I guess a lot of them just have on their homepage, as well as seen on or featured on different websites. So that gives you an insight, I guess.

    Unknown Speaker 27:39
Yeah. And they usually sometimes have press pages where they will link up all the interview pieces that they have done on their website.

    Mike Beatty 27:48
That’s a good one. Yeah, so just googling that. Awesome. Right? Yeah. So Isabel, if I know I could probably find out so much more from you, because you just kidding. So much information about SEO and those of different stuff. But I always like to ask this question to someone, and towards the end of a podcast, and it’s if you were to go back in time, and let’s choose, let’s go before 2015. So before you actually started travelling, and before you even create your website, so you were working in a social media agency in a PR agency and different jobs and probably didn’t find something that completely stuck for you, but you’re probably learning some good skills to be fair in those kind of positions. But if you could go back to a day around that time, and give yourself up to three tips, it doesn’t have to be three tips. But if you can think of three that’s great that we’ve everything that you know, now, what would you tell yourself if you could go back to a day in sort of 2015

    Unknown Speaker 28:50
Oh, yeah, I would tell my younger self to believe in yourself, because there’s always the traditional risk of us folks around you that I think that you should always conform to societal norms. You know, like, go to school, get a stable job, get a house settle down, and they would just crush all your seemingly impossible dreams just because it sounds too risky. But I guess I would advise myself to really just be bold and take risks, because you’re never too old to try something new.

    Mike Beatty 29:25
    Yeah.

    Unknown Speaker 29:27
Yeah. And really to surround myself with role models, people who inspire and motivate me and stay far away from all the naysayers. Yeah,

    Mike Beatty 29:40
I think that’s so true as well. It’s it’s just such a common story, isn’t it where people have, you know, you just told to go to school, get a good job in against him end up buying a house and you know, before you know it, you’re almost like, get feel like you’re getting stuck because you’re not stuck. That’s the thing a lot. You know, you if someone’s listening to this, and they’re thinking, Oh, yeah, but I’ve got the house in a, you know, family and stuff like that, it doesn’t mean that you have to be completely tied to it. Whereas it’s just the story. And you know, it’s the norm is the norm like you say, around you and the naysayers around you sort of thinking that there’s nothing else that you can do. But yeah, I think that’s a really, really good tips.

    Unknown Speaker 30:22
    Yeah.

    Mike Beatty 30:24
And yeah, well, thank you so much for your time today as well. Like I say, I probably would love to get you back on and get a bit more information about the nitty gritty SEO and I would love to hear more about how you get on with your course and everything like that. But you know, it’s been an absolute pleasure to speak to you today.

    Unknown Speaker 30:40
Yeah, it’s my honour. Thank you.

    Mike Beatty 30:47
So as you can see, Isabel really does know what she’s talking about with regards to SEO. Now, I’m just gonna summarise some of the key takeaways that I took from the podcast. And hopefully that will help you as well. But just remember, if you do want to have free SEO course you can go to Bell around the world.com slash free dash SEO dash course. And this will be in the podcast show notes, which is Muay Thai amazon.com forward slash 74. So my first key takeaway that I took was that you can obviously use keyword research tools to find low competition, high volume keywords. But there’s other tips that people can just use if even if you don’t have one, or even if you do have one, this is a great way to find other ideas as well. And this is Google auto use Google auto suggested keywords. So when when you start typing something into Google, you’ll notice loads of things come up underneath that it’s a great way to just get some ideas, but there is more that you can do. So things like when you actually type in your keyword. So if it was best dog training tips, it would also come up with a snippet with related searches to that keyword and that just gives you loads of other ideas of real things. People actually typing into Google. What you can also then do as well is on that first page of Google, if you use Moz, the most Chrome extension, like we talked about in the podcast, you can see the domain authority of those websites is that all really, really high, then it’s probably not a good idea to go for that keyword because it’s going to be a very high competition keyword, basically. Number two was to use your affiliate pages and try and get use SEO to get traffic to those certain pages. So Isabel gave her example of being an affiliate to a hotel. So it was a destination where some, you know, someone might be typing in booking a hotel or travelling to Istanbul best places to stay in Istanbul, those kind of key, you know, it could be that sort of thing. And in that post, the person that is typing in that keyword is actually looking to potentially book a hotel or, you know, find somewhere to stay in the area. So if you were an affiliate for things like booking.com, or agoda.com, this is Isabel’s niche, which was the travel niche, then it works with any niche that you have. And if you can rank on page one of Google, then that means you’ll get in this recurring traffic and recurring revenue every single month. And so even if you’re just getting like a little bit of traffic to that one page, it can really help to generate revenue for you. Number three, is to always make sure that your posts are easy to understand. And people can find the answers to the question they typed in quickly. A common misconception is for people to keep people on the page for longer and so they drag the answer out and like put it somewhere hidden in the text to try and make people read. Whereas actually, the aim is to give people the information as soon as possible. So if someone typed in something like how to make a dog sit, you want almost your first paragraph, second paragraph, you know, right at the top of the page, explain his condition. cisely as possible how to make a dog sit. And that is going to give someone the answer and then you can go into more detail about it, you know, break it up into sub headings on how you’re going to do that. Number four is all about heard little tips on finding backlinks. I really liked her idea of finding listicles that you might be rent, you know, your website, your podcast, YouTube channel, whatever might be really relevant for so if you had a travel YouTube channel, then if you type in best travel YouTube channels, find those listicles on page one of Google if you reach out to that website owner and be that hey, and notice you’ve got this article about this and this is a travel YouTube channel, show them your YouTube channel explain like how it can actually help people and how you know how it is already helping people and then potentially try and get a link on that website, too. Were to your website basically. And that is a great way to find backlinks that are relevant. Also, you can find competitors backlinks. If you use keyword research tools, you can do that. But also if you google your competitors website name, and then something like press page. So for example, you could type in Smart Passive Income press page, or backlinks. And they might actually have a page on their website where they’ve already got a list of all the places where they’ve received interviews or backlinks to from before. That’s a really good way to find opportunities for yourself where you could actually get backlinks to because if the person in your niche has got backlinks from

a big company, you know, like Forbes or another big company like that, then that’s a good sign to you that is possible for you to get a backlink from there as well. And number five is all about her tip she would give herself as she went back in time, just believe In yourself, and, you know, just surrounding yourself with role models and people that are not naysayers, so be prepared to take risks if you could do that from as soon as possible. And just trust in the process. Trust that you do have the skills and you can be able to learn the skills you need to make this successful, then it’s going to really help you in the long run. So I do help that help guys. And as always yet, you can find the show notes that makes him a nine.com forward slash 74. And I hope you enjoyed this one. Thanks for listening in to this episode of Make time online. Be sure to subscribe to our podcast you don’t miss any future episodes. Podcast Summary

These were some of my main takeaways from the chat with Isabel:

    1. Type in "best of [your niche] blogs" and reach out to the site owners to see if you could be added to the list
    2. Find "money" keywords where people are looking to purchase something
    3. Make your posts easy to understand and provide the answer near the  start of your post... then give them a reason to read on
    4. Search for competitors backlinks to  see what kind of content they created to get links  (ubersuggest is a free tool to do this)
    5. Surround yourself with role models (mastermind groups are a great way to do this...  you can find people interested in doing this in the Make Time Online Facebook group here)
