What is HBNaturals?

HBNaturals is a Multi-Level-Marketing company based in Ohio. It stands for Heart and Body Naturals and is owned by Green Organics.

However, I did some research on this and found out that the founders of HBNaturals are Ben Scarcella, Paula Scarcella, and Alexandria Brighton.

They manufacture different kinds of hemp and CBD-based products such as essential oils, pet products, superfoods, and health supplements.

Their main goal is to improve the overall health of the people around the globe with the help of all-natural products that are targeted to different niches, such as weight loss, skin case, and physical strength.

Check out this 1-minute video that talks about the company...

Let's then learn about...

Is HBNaturals a pyramid scheme?

HBNaturals is not a pyramid scheme.

The company’s members are still capable of earning money by selling hemp-based health and wellness products without recruiting other people.

But even if this is the case, it’s still smart to ask if… Is HBNaturals a pyramid scheme in disguise?

What is a pyramid scheme?

A pyramid scheme is a company or business that pays members whenever they manage to recruit someone into the system.

Countries and governments have already banned these kinds of businesses because it’s impossible for their members to earn a sustainable income from a business model which only pays for recruitment.

Here is a diagram from Wikipedia that explains this in deep detail:

There are a few members who somehow make money, but they’re just doing recruitment and nothing else.

And they do this very aggressively while advertising the business opportunity even if there’s really none.

It’s just impossible for members to make good money from a business model such as this as they are just going to run out of recruits.

Check this 5-minute video that helps you know more about pyramid schemes in disguise...

Let's move and learn why...

Success is rare with HBNaturals

It is hard to become successful when you are with an MLM such as HBNaturals.

In fact, between 72.5% and 99.9% of MLM agents lose money. This is just a surprising fact knowing that their main goal is to earn and not lose money…

92.3 Percent of Members Lose Money in MLMs

This happens because MLMs have a sales quota that forces members to sell a certain number of products every month so that they can be awarded the bonuses and commissions.

If they can’t do this, then they have no choice but to just buy the products themselves.

This is why the majority of MLM members lose a lot of money from their own pockets before they can get their first recruit.

How does HBNaturals Work?

HBNaturals works by selling CBD and hemp-based health and wellness products that come in the form of nutritional supplements, weight loss products, and skincare cosmetics.

They also have an affiliate program where they invite people to become members, who in turn, become sales agents.

These guys then sell their products and earn commissions out of it. It sounds nice, but it’s not what it seems.

Why? It's because HBNaturals saves huge money because they don’t need to have marketing campaigns as their members are already doing all these from them...

HBNaturals products

I also checked their site and found out that they divide their products into 6 major categories. These are:

  • Coffee
  • Superfood
  • Personal care
  • Pet
  • Essential oils
  • Weight loss

Meanwhile, their main products are:

  • Rise Coffee ($89.95) - A micro ground coffee made from instant Arabica and hemp extracts. It makes you more energetic but in a healthy way. A pack of this contains 30 servings.
  • Slimmer ($59.95) - A weight loss product that also helps improve your metabolism process thanks to its 9 superfood ingredients.
  • FatDetox ($29) - An essential oil that helps burn fat, while also detoxifying your body and getting rid of chemicals and toxins.
Is HBNaturals a Scam: Products

Be aware, though, that there are a lot of other brands out there that sell a similar range of health and wellness products.

Some of the most popular and famous MLMs are:

All these companies claim they are special and that they sell exclusive natural products that are scientifically proven.

But looking at the reality, they’re really not because they are just offering a very similar opportunity…

So if this is the case, then what makes HBNaturals special?

HBNaturals flagship product

Healing Trilogy ($125) - A bundle of superfood products that boost the overall health.

These are infused with turmeric, ayurvedic, and coconut superfoods that improve blood circulation, reduce inflammation, boost energy, and sharpen memory.

Here is a 4-minute video about their product:

So, does this mean...

Can you make money with HBNaturals?

Yes. You can make money. But it’s hard.

There are a few who do, but they make very little, even comparable to that of a minimum wage.

And they do this by working throughout the day, just like a full-time sales manager.

What’s more, is that their income disclosure doesn’t show anything valuable or informative that is enough to make you join...

How to make money with HBNaturals

You can make money by doing these 2 things:

  • Sell their products
  • Recruit members into HBNaturals

But take note that you can only earn money from the sales of your recruited downlines and not from merely recruiting them…

This is how HBNaturals avoids being called a scam because the incentives don't come directly from recruitment.

How much does it cost to join HBNaturals?

What sets HBNaturals apart from the other MLMs is that they don’t have any subscription fee.

This means that it’s free to join and you don’t have to pay anything to be a member.

HBNaturals monthly cost

But even if you have no fee to pay for joining, you still have to maintain a 25 PV monthly for you to stay as an active member and receive their commissions.

The costs you are going to incur in 1 year are:

  • $25 x 12

Minimum costs for year 1 = $300

But also take note that this doesn’t include the business starter packs you’re going to buy and the products you’re going to buy and sell later on.

You even have to add in the other costs such as gasoline, training, marketing, and miscellaneous stuff.

HBNaturals compensation plan

It’s common for MLMs to have confusing compensation plans. The same happens with HBNaturals.

No need to worry, though, as I will make it easy for you to understand…

HBNaturals is offering members 3 main ways to make money:

  • 50% Retail Customer Bonus - Earn 50% commission every time someone purchases a product from you via your personal website.
  • Fast Start Bonus - Earn 20% to 30% commission every time your downline members purchase a product from you.
  • Matrix Bonus - Earn $1 for every 50 product sales made by your team members.
Is HBNaturals a Scam: Compensation

Confused? Don’t worry. That is completely normal.

MLMs are always using complex terms and fancy names so it’ll look like they have a lot of ways for members to earn money.

When the reality is that members just have to do these 2 things…

  • Sell HBNaturals products
  • Recruit members into HBNaturals

Or you can find the full compensation plan here.

Is HBNaturals a scam?

No. HBNaturals isn’t a scam.

The company is selling legit products that improve health, as well as pay members properly and on time.

But the thing is… members are disgruntled to know that they lose more money instead of making money each month because of the sales quota. Hence, they label the company as a scam.

The next section of this HBNaturals review is going to reveal the facts of this company so you can get and make an informed decision on what to do with this alleged business opportunity...

Just to be fully transparent with you, I am not a distributor myself and I do not endorse it in any way.

I have researched the website, testimonials and information on the Internet to get to the bottom of what this program genuinely does. This is because I have been burnt from programs just like this in the past and I want to prevent others from making the same mistakes. What I like about HBNaturals

Key Terms:

  • Pyramid Scheme – recruits members via a promise for payment from recruiting others into the company rather than providing a product
  • Affiliate Marketing- Connecting a customer to a product they are looking for and receiving a commission for doing so
  • Red Flag - A warning sign

#1 Positive product reviews

The first thing I like about HBNaturals is that there are a lot of people saying that they have an effective set of products.

Is HBNaturals a Scam: Pros

You can see that the users are satisfied and are happy to use their nutritional supplements. This is a good sign that you can sell the products with ease...

#2 Free subscription

You don’t have to pay anything for you to become an HBNaturals member, aside of course, from buying the products which you are going to sell.

This is very uncommon for an MLM because most usually have expensive subscription fees.

Again, this is a sign that HBNaturals isn’t all about taking away your money and that you can somehow earn an income from this...

What I don't like about HBNaturals

#1 Expensive products

HBNaturals sells expensive and overpriced products.

Here are other brands that basically have the same ingredients and benefits that HBNaturals products have:

Is HBNaturals a Scam: Cons

You can see that they’re way cheaper but still have high ratings.

This shows that you might have a hard time selling their products because people will have other better choices.

#2 Hidden monthly expenses

You need to sell 25 PV monthly if you want to stay active. And being active means receiving bonuses and commissions.

This also means selling $25 worth of products every month.

If you can’t then you have to buy it yourself.

A fact that MLMs don’t want members to learn is that they are the biggest client base because they assure the company that they’ll keep buying the products, hoping that someday they can break even and earn good money out of the buying and selling process...

#3 Is HBNaturals a pyramid scheme in disguise?

You must spend $25 monthly to stay active. But there’s a way out of this, and that’s by recruiting people.

MLM pyramid scheme

You then pass the hassle to them…

This means that all you need to do is to just recruit as many people as you can so you can avoid the sales quota and earn some good money.

#4 Saturated market

The market for health and wellness products is already very saturated because almost all MLMs sell products like these.

There are even already a lot of hemp-based MLMs. This means that you’re going to face a whole lot of competition out there.

#5 Downward trend

Google Trends showed me this…

Is HBNaturals a Scam: Cons 2

The number of people searching for HBNaturals is decreasing, which also means that there are not many people interested in getting their hemp-based products.

My opinion - HBNaturals

HBNaturals have effective products that are proven to improve one’s health.

The thing is… is that they’re just overpriced. Their business opportunity isn’t even that interesting.

In fact, here’s what I can say about your chances of success with their business model...

You can only make good money if you focus so hard on recruitment. And you still do that even if you already know that the majority of your recruits are only going to end up losing their money...

This doesn’t sound right… right?

All you’re actually doing is just selling the dream of financial freedom and then leaving it up to your downline members to see for themselves the hassle it will cause...

How I make passive income online

MLMs are not scams or illegal. However, I'm not a fan of them because of the restrictions to the expensive products you have to promote.

Once I learnt about affiliate marketing, I realised it's a far superior business model because:

  • You can promote anything you want and truly own the business
  • You never need to sell to friends and family
  • It's completely free to start

In 2018 I had no idea what affiliate marketing was.

But I went from a full time PE teacher to making a passive income online within one year...
