Here is a 7-minute video to check out to know more about them...

Chris Brady is one of the co-founders of Life Leadership along with Orrin Woodward.

Brady is a New York Times’ bestselling author and speaker and has received numerous awards and recognition.

Meanwhile, Orrin Woodward is also a successful author who made it to the Guinness Book of World Records for having the largest number of book signings.

He won numerous awards as well including the Inc Magazine Leadership and National Technical Benchmarking Award.

Is Life Leadership a pyramid scheme?

A company that is promising its members financial payment for having to recruit people into the company instead of focusing solely on selling products and services.

There are already a lot of countries that have banned companies like these because not everyone can earn decent money inside a company that is only paying people to recruit members.

Check out this diagram from  Wikipedia to see why...

What is a pyramid scheme?

An important fact to know about pyramid schemes is that the members that make the most money just recruit as many people as they can to join the company and take part in this alleged “business opportunity.”

But looking at the diagram above, you can clearly see that it is impossible for all of the members to earn because you’d eventually be running out of people to recruit.

You can dig deeper into these “pyramid schemes in  disguise” in this 5-minute video...

Success is rare with Life Leadership

It is very hard to achieve success in an MLM company such as Life Leadership.

Did you know that 97.3% of Life Leadership members lose money.

And looking at the larger scale, there are around  72.5% and 99.9% of members that lose money from MLM companies.

92.3 Percent of Members Lose Money in MLMs

This happens because MLMs have this so-called sales quota which forces their members to sell a certain amount of products to stay active and receive commissions.

If not, then they have to buy the products themselves. This leads to many members losing loads of money from their own pockets before they can make a single recruit.

We’ll be digging more into the Life Leadership income disclosure further into this Life Leadership MLM review.

How does Life Leadership Work?

Life Leadership is an MLM company selling financial education training tools that come in the form of videos, books, and audio materials.

Aside from that, the company is also offering normal people the opportunity to work from home by selling their products and in turn, receiving their commissions.

It sounds like a win-win...

But before you accept that it is really the case, it’s important you know that the company saves hundreds of thousands of dollars in marketing costs because instead of investing on advertising campaigns, they just let their members do the job for them.

Before we see if that is really what’s happening, let’s learn more about...

Life Leadership products

If you really like to risk it up and join an MLM such as Life Leadership, then it’s vital for you to know the actual products that they are selling so you can have an easier time adapting into your new role as a Life Leadership member.

Here are a few of their most popular products.

  • Financial Fitness Services ($60/month) - Provides training on how to improve financial resources through smart investments and wise spending.
  • All Grace Outreach ($30/month) - Provides training on speeding up the process of saving money for your personal bank account. It teaches lessons on investment and expenses management.
  • The Financial Fitness Master Class ($180 for physical and digital copies or $120 for digital copy) - Provides a holistic financial education training on finance management, expenditure tracking, and financial background.

The thing with MLM companies is that all of them claim to have a special reason why they stand out from their competition.

When in fact, all of them are just offering the same opportunity!

If that’s the case, then what makes Life Leadership special?

Life Leadership - flagship product

Professional Development Course ($64.95) - Subscribing to this gives you basic, intermediate, and advanced courses on financial management that covers trending investments, finance analysis, and budgeting.

Is Life Leadership a Scam: Product

But also note that there are many other MLMs that share the same characteristics as Life Leadership, such as:

  • Bellame
  • SeneGence
  • Farmasi
  • Mary Kay
  • Maskcara
  • Younique
  • Beautycounter
  • Forever Living
  • Life Leadership
  • Here is a short 2-minute video about their offerings...

So, if all that sounds interesting...

Can you make money with Life Leadership?

I hate to say it to you, but it is very hard to make money from Life Leadership.

There might be a few people who somehow make slightly more than minimum wage, but those are extroverted salesmen who have sales training and who work more like sales managers.

And for what? For payment that’s slightly above minimum wage? Even their income disclosure shows that hardly anyone makes commissions from Life Leadership.

How to make money with Life Leadership

There are 2 ways that you can earn money from Life Leadership:

    • Sell their financial training materials to earn commissions
    • Recruit people into the MLM so that you can earn downline bonuses

But take note that you can only earn bonuses from the sales of your downlines and not by just simply recruiting them into the company.

This is how Life Leadership and many MLMs save themselves from being labeled as a pyramid scheme because the payment for recruitment doesn’t happen directly, but indirectly through the downlines bonuses.

What’s more is that you must maintain a minimum of 100 PV monthly to stay active.

This means that you need to sell at least $100 worth of Life Leadership materials every single month for you to be eligible to earn commissions or any money from the company.

    It looks like a trap…

But before diving into their compensation plan, let’s first know...

How much does it cost to join Life Leadership?

If you want to join Life Leadership, then you have to pay these fees:

    • Business starter kit - $99
    • Monthly subscriptions - $50 to $100 depending on chosen package
    • Life Training Marketing System - $121.49
    • Membership fee - $19/year

    Life Leadership monthly cost

For you to stay active and remain as a Life Leadership distributor, you need to sell at least 100 PV monthly which is valued at $100.

This means that your expenses for 1 year are…

    • $99
    • $50 - $100
    • $121
    • $19
    • $100 x 12 = $1,200

    Minimum costs for 1 year = $1,489 - $1,539

And this is before you add up all the other additional expenses of training, gas, travel, and miscellaneous costs.

    Life Leadership compensation plan

Many MLM companies just like to make their compensation plans confusing. Well, that’s still the same thing that happens with Life Leadership. No worries, though, as I’ll be doing my best to keep this simple...

Life Leadership offers you 5 main ways to earn money as a member:

Retail Sales Commissions - Earn 15% commission from each of your personal sales.

Customer Pool Bonus - Earn bonuses depending on the number of members you have recruited into the Registered Customer program every quarter.

Is Life Leadership a Scam: Compensation

Cumulative Customer Bonus - Earn bonuses depending on the number of members you have recruited into the Registered Customer program annually.

Personal Bonus - Earn bonuses depending on your monthly personal volume.

Is Life Leadership a Scam: Compensation 2

Depth Bonus - Earn 2% bonus every time you are promoted in rank.

Don’t worry if you’re a bit confused. That’s completely normal because MLMs always use fancy terms and weird names to make it sound like there are a lot of ways you can make money from the company.

When the reality is that there are only 2 things that you can do:

    • Sell their financial training products
    • Recruit people into Life Leadership

Anyway, here is a 12-minute video of their compensation plan.

You can also check out the full Life Leadership compensation plan here.

    Is Life Leadership a scam?

No, Life Leadership is not a scam.

The personal development company sells legit products that are created by professional financial analysts and successful businessmen. They also pay their members exactly as they say.

Unfortunately, not everyone is happy with the company because most members discover that they end up losing more money instead of earning.

This is why there are a number of news and issues saying that Life Leadership is a scam...

Just to be fully transparent with you, I am not a distributor myself and I do not endorse it in any way.

I have researched the website, testimonials and information on the Internet to get to the bottom of what this program genuinely does. This is because I have been burnt from programs just like this in the past and I want to prevent others from making the same mistakes. What I like about Life Leadership

    Key Terms:

    • Pyramid Scheme – recruits members via a promise for payment from referring others to the service rather than providing a product
    • Affiliate Marketing- Connecting a customer to a product they are looking for and receiving a commission for doing so
    • Red Flag - A warning sign

    #1 Unique products

One of the best things that I like about Life Leadership is that they have a unique offering.

This is different from the usual beauty and health and wellness companies you might have heard of.

This means that you have less competition out there. What’s more is that coaching and financial seminars are a good investment and can help you grow in your career.

    #2 Wide Choice

Another cool thing I learned about Life Leadership is that they offer a wide range of educational materials that comes in different forms such as books, audio, and videos.

Is Life Leadership a Scam: Pros

They also cover various topics like financial security, confidence boosting, and personal development.

What I don't like about Life Leadership

    #1 Hidden monthly expenses

    Yes, you’ve read that right.

For sure you’ve remembered seeing that members must sell 100 PV every month to stay active. This makes no sense to me…

Why do you need to maintain a sales quota in the first place, knowing that you’re just here to sell legit products?

100 PV every month means that you must sell $100 worth of Life Leadership products every single month. If you can’t, then you buy it.

    Here’s the truth that many don’t know…

Life Leadershp’s biggest customers are their members because they just keep buying their stuff hoping that they can be their “own boss” in the soonest possible time.

#2 Life Leadership is a pyramid scheme in disguise

If you must keep spending $100 monthly just to stay active, then the only way to keep losing that $100 every single month is by recruiting people to become your downlines.

    MLM pyramid scheme

This way, you’re able to pass the burden to them. In no way does that sound ethical to me...

    #3 Only 1 in 919 members earn over $10k a year

You can clearly see in the Life Leadership income disclosure that 96.5% of their members earn less than $1,100 annually.

Meanwhile, 97.6% of members earn a minuscule $2,294 annually, which is just too low!

Is Life Leadership a Scam: Cons

To make matters worse, members incur an average expense of $1,550 annually, which means that they spend more than what they earn.

In simple words, that means only 1 in 919 members earn more than 10,000 annually.

    #5 Downward trend

The final nail in the coffin I discovered with Life Leadership is that their number of searches in Google is on a downward spiral.

    life_leadership_updates

This means that you’re going to have a hard time selling their financial education materials because not many people are searching for them or are interested in them...

I've made a special video for you to explain exactly how I did this.

    MTO Income

    My opinion - Life Leadership

Life Leadership provides a number of interesting products that aren’t present in many MLMs. But the important thing here is the business opportunity…

So, what do I think of it?

The only way that you can make good money is if you recruit as many people as you can and pass the burden of having to maintain a sales quota of $100 monthly to stay active.

The fact is, most, if not all of these people are just going to lose money from Life Leadership.

Surely, that doesn’t sound like an ethical business model to me...

How I make passive income online

MLMs are not scams or illegal. However, I'm not a fan of them because of the restrictions to the expensive products you have to promote.

Once I learnt about affiliate marketing, I realised it's a far superior business model because:

    • You can promote anything you want and truly own the business
    • You never need to sell to friends and family
    • It's completely free to start

In 2018 I had no idea what affiliate marketing was.

But I went from a full time PE teacher to making a passive income online within one year...

    1. Hi Mike

I have been reading a lot about Life Leadership and I was actually quite impressed by their offering but as always I like to do a bit of research before I jump in.

I have had a bad experience with other MLM opportunities so I don’t want to make the same mistake again.

Your review has certainly helped to change my mind about Life Leadership and I don’t think I will be investing in it now.

I didn’t fully realise how complicated their compensation plan was until you highlighted it. The data you shared about how little income their associates are making is enough to make me look elsewhere.

Thanks again for sharing your experience

      Zac Phua.
