What is Crowd1?
Crowd1 is a Multi-Level-Marketing company that offers a mobile networking community where members can maintain their own online network business using the company’s different digital marketing platforms.
Some of these examples are Miggster and AffilGo. This MLM is still very new to the industry as it was established just last Aug. 2019 by Jonas Werner.
I noticed that the company says they partnered with Miggster and Affilgo. But upon further investigation and research, I found out that the owner of the 3 companies is just one person, named Piskopianos Stelios.
I did some research on him and discovered that he is a finance professional who has worked as a financial director for Northfield Petroleum.
Furthermore, the company is currently headquartered in Dubai, UAE.
Here is a 2-minute video about Crowd1:
Let's then know...
Is Crowd1 a pyramid scheme?
No, Crowd1 isn’t a pyramid scheme.
This is because the members of the company are still earning money even if they don’t have to sell the products or whatever it is the firm is offering.
But even if that is the case, a better question to this must be… Is Crowd1 a pyramid scheme in disguise?
What is a pyramid scheme?
A pyramid scheme is a company or organization that is paying its members every time they recruit someone.
Many countries have already banned these so called businesses because it’s just plain impossible for all of their members to earn knowing that they’re just paying for recruitment.
See this diagram from Wikipedia below to learn why...
The members who are making the most money are those that recruit the most into this alleged business.
But if you were to check the diagram, you can clearly see that you are just going to be running out of members to recruit sooner or later.
Know more about how you can spot these “pyramid schemes in disguise” in this 5-minute video...
But why is it that...
Success is rare with Crowd1
It is hard to reach or achieve any kind of success with MLMs such as Crowd1.
In fact, 72.5% and 99.9% of MLM members are losing money.
This happens because of the so-called sales quota that these companies have, which means that their members can only stay active and earn commissions if they are able to sell a certain number of products monthly.
If they are unable to, then they’ve got no choice but to just buy the products for themselves. What happens next?
Well, you’ve guessed that right, and that they lose huge money from their own savings before they can make a single recruitment.
How does Crowd1 Work?
Crowd1 works by offering members an online networking platform through their leisure, gaming, and education websites and packages from their partners like GritHub, a real estate platform in Dubai.
They run different kinds of courses according to your own preference. Aside from that, they also have their own affiliate program where members can recruit other people into the company.
Doing so, then enables them to earn money through selling the products and receiving commissions.
It sounds like a win-win situation for the company and members, but it really isn’t.
It’s because Crowd1 is saving a lot of money because they don’t have to spend on their marketing campaigns knowing that their members are the one doing it.
Before we see if this is really the case, let’s find out more about...
Crowd1 products
Crowd1 doesn’t sell any tangible products or services, aside from offering a digital marketing platform for users and members.
They also have a Crowd1 app that can be downloaded for free in Google Play and the App Store. This app connects members to the digital marketing platforms of the company and lets them do business transactions.
You also have to subscribe to any of their business packages once you’ve become a member.
You have 4 options to choose from:
⦁ White – $116
⦁ Black – $352
⦁ Gold – $941
⦁ Titanium – $2944
As you can see, there’s a huge price difference. This is because the more expensive the option gets, the more features, capabilities, and bigger network you get.
This one’s a bit special as it’s different from the usual nutritional and tech products that most MLM companies sell.
This is a good thing for them as they can somehow use this to their advantage and make it as a means for them to stand out from the other companies...
Here is a 2-minute video on their offerings:
Let's move and know if...
Can you make money with Crowd1?
Yes, but it is very hard to make money from Crowd1.
There might be a few members who do make money, but it’s just similar to the minimum wage income, sometimes even lower.
What’s worse is that they treat this as their full-time job and not as a part-time business.
They do not even have any kind of income disclosure to show to people that they are indeed earning.
Again, this isn’t a good sign that they’re a great way to earn money...
How to make money with Crowd1?
There is just 1 way to make money from Crowd1, and that is by recruiting members.
However, the company makes it seem like you can only earn commissions and bonuses every time your recruited member recruits someone. This is how they sometimes avoid being called a scam...
How much does it cost to join Crowd1?
You need to pay $354 for the owner rights, which makes you an official member.
But you are also required to buy any of their business package kits, with the cheapest one worth $116 and the most expensive one being $2,944.
Crowd1 monthly cost
You don’t need to maintain any PV, however, there is an underlying regular cost you have to incur monthly, which isn’t specifically stated in any of their official documents. Hence, we can just treat it as an unknown expense that should be expected.
The total costs for 1 year is…
- $354
- $116 to $2,947
Minimum costs for year 1 = $470 to $3,301
And that’s before you add up the other expenses you are going to incur such as travel, gas, training, food, and more...
Crowd1 compensation plan
MLMs always have complex compensation plans, just like with Crowd1. However, you don’t really have to worry about that because I am going to simplify this to the best of my capabilities.
Crowd1 offers you 3 main ways you can make money:
- Residual Commissions - Earn 90 points every time you recruit a member in the White level, 270 points for the Black level, 720 points for Gold, and 2,250 points for Titanium. Unfortunately, I didn’t find any corresponding prices for these points.
- Matching Bonus - Earn a 10% bonus every time your recruited members from levels 1 to 5 can recruit.
- Gambling Residual - Earn 5% to 10% of the total recruitment volume of your team, depending on your rank or level.
Also don’t worry if you are confused with all that because that is totally normal.
MLMs always use weird names and complex terms so that members will think that there are a lot of ways they can earn from the company.
When in reality, there’s just 1 thing to do, which is:
- Recruit people into the company
Feel free to check out their full compensation plan here.
Is Crowd1 a scam?
There are traces that Crowd1 is a scam, but it’s not very obvious.
First off is that they don’t sell any tangible product or service, except for their digital marketing platforms.
That isn’t too convincing for a company to be called legit…
Nonetheless, the next part of this review will help you decide if this is really the case, or if it’s the right decision for you...
Just to be fully transparent with you, I am not a distributor myself and I do not endorse it in any way.
I have researched the website, testimonials and information on the Internet to get to the bottom of what this program genuinely does. This is because I have been burnt from programs just like this in the past and I want to prevent others from making the same mistakes. Common positive reviews
Here are some of the positive reviews we had from Trust Pilot about the job opportunity...
- "I stand crowd1it has unique way of earning, automated method of promotion and generation of funds. The paying is good and it's earn from third party company and pays it's affiliates. no funds goes from the affiliates to the Crowd1 member in other word you join to earn."
Common negative reviews
And here are the common negative reviews...
- "It's a Ponzi system where you don't sell anything, but you ask for registration money. Then comes the company and gives free C1 points, free registrations and prizes for you for free. A C1 point is worth zero. But you and the people you sign up pay real money from your account."

What I like about Crowd1
Key Terms:
- Pyramid Scheme – recruits members via a promise for payment from recruiting others into the company rather than providing a product
- Affiliate Marketing- Connecting a customer to a product they are looking for and receiving a commission for doing so
- Red Flag - A warning sign
#1 Informative website
One of the few things I like about Crowd1 is their sleek and detailed website.
It looks professional, has the latest design trends, and is very interactive with the site visitor.
This makes it a very nice thing especially when recruiting people.
#2 Gaining momentum
I checked Google Trends and this is what I saw…
As you can see, Crowd1 is having more searches which means that it is becoming more saleable to other people.
I also compared it with Farmasi which is one of the best performing MLMs to date, and it seems like it’s keeping up with the pace.
What I don't like about Crowd1
And here is the other side of the story, which shows the not so good things about Crowd 1...
#1 No real product
Crowd1 isn’t selling anything or offering any solid service aside from their digital marketing platform.
Well, it’s not really that bad. But it’s also not that useful especially that whatever it is that they are offering is too gimmicky.
You may think that it's rare to find a MLM that doesn't offer any real product. But here are some other MLMs that don't offer any product at all and only focus on recruiting (*cough* pyramid schemes *cough*):
#2 Expensive membership
You have to pay $354 to $2944 just to become a member.
This is just too much knowing that you aren’t really getting something valuable, aside from a few connections that are made through their digital online platform...
#3 Under investigation by authorities
Crowd1 is on the watchlist of companies that are most likely going to be labeled as a scam in the US.
However, this already had started in other countries. In fact, Crowd1 is already banned in Namibia and the Philippines!
#4 Is Crowd1 a pyramid scheme in disguise
No doubt that Crowd1 is a pyramid scheme in disguise because the only way you can make money from them is by recruiting people.
And you do this as hard as you can and recruit as many people as you can so that you can save yourself from paying for the regular costs of becoming a member...
My opinion - Crowd1
Crowd1 has a good and sleek website, but their offerings are a bit questionable especially that they don’t have a product or a real valuable service aside from their digital marketing platform.
And yes, they are overpriced. So, what’s with the business opportunity here?...
The only way to make money is by recruiting loads of people even if you already know that around 93% to 98% of all MLM members are losing money.
But still you do this… Which makes it seem like you’re just playing games with their money...
How I make passive income online
MLMs are not scams or illegal. However, I'm not a fan of them because of the restrictions to the expensive products you have to promote.
Once I learnt about affiliate marketing, I realised it's a far superior business model because:
- You can promote anything you want and truly own the business
- You never need to sell to friends and family
- It's completely free to start
In 2018 I had no idea what affiliate marketing was.
But I went from a full time PE teacher to making a passive income online within one year...
If you want to discover how I did it then check out this special video I created which explains exactly how. You can also get your free 7-day bootcamp to get started.
