What is Asirvia?

Asirvia is a Multi-Level-Marketing company selling advertising beacons called Asirvia Go that sends out promotional messages to devices within range.

Asirvia Go was popular at first because I found out that even Facebook used it.

The device uses the Google Nearby platform, which is why it can’t send messages to Apple devices like iPhones and iPads. Messages have a 40-character limit plus the website of the business.

Donald LaPlume founded the company in 2016 in New Hampshire with Kevin Marino as the CFO.

Unfortunately, the company shutdown in Dec. 2018 after receiving many complaints about their affiliate program and poor customer service.

Asirvia Rebranded to Royaltie?

I did a thorough research on the company’s current situation and I found out that Asirvia might have rebranded its name to Royaltie, which started operating as soon as Asirvia started going downhill.

Although the two companies didn’t confirm they were connected to each other, it’s pretty obvious that this is the case in these two images here...

As you can see, the testimonials from each of the sites say the exact same thing.

Even the names of the people are the same! There’s a very good chance that they created Royaltie because they know Asirvia’s going to shut down soon.

What’s more is that Asirvia and Royaltie’s devices are made by Kontakt and simply just white-labelled the product.

Royaltie undergone another rebranding since then and they’re not anymore selling advertising gadgets. Instead, they’re offering digital marketing services which they say is 100% powered by AI.

I also checked Royaltie’s BBB profile and I found out that it has very similar complaints that Asirvia was getting back then.

But still, there's no proof that Royaltie is the new Asirvia especially that they're offering a different set of services.

Is Asirvia a pyramid scheme?

Nope, Asirvia isn’t a pyramid scheme because their members back then still made money by selling their advertising gadgets without recruiting people.

But they’re already shut down due to many complaints. And that’s just after 2 years of operating!

So why is that the case?

A company that promises payment to members for recruiting people into the company instead of selling the company’s products or services. It’s illegal in many countries because not everyone can earn money.

It’s just impossible for everyone to earn money inside this system because you’ll eventually run out of people to recruit.

How does Asirvia work?

Asirvia sells Asirvia Go which is an advertising gadget that sends messages to all Android devices within its reach.

The company also offered normal people the opportunity to work from home by selling the products and receiving bonuses and commission from their sales.

Sounds like a win-win situation, but is it really?

Note that Asirvia saves a lot of money because they don’t have to invest on an all-out marketing campaign. Instead, they just let everyday people do the job.

Before we move forward, let’s first know about...

Asirvia products

Asirvia might already be shut down, but you might still be interested on what they were actually selling back then.

Who knows, maybe someone will knock on your door and offer you the same opportunity as Asirvia?

Asirvia sells only one product called Asirvia Go.

It was priced at $49. But you need to pay it monthly! (That escalated quickly…)

You can get 3 units for $99 monthly, or 8 units for $199 monthly.

This device automatically broadcasts promotions on all Android devices within a 300 feet radius. Business owners can use this device to promote their brand, products, and services.

The battery is said to last for 2 years.

But does it work? Technically, yes. But only Android devices can get the messages. And that’s if their Bluetooth is on!

We all know that very few people turn their phones Bluetooth on these days… except if your device is connected to a Bluetooth speaker or headphone.

Take note that there are many other MLMs that offer the same thing such as:

All these companies say that they’re the best and there is something special about their products. When in reality, they’re just selling a very similar opportunity!

That leads us to think...

Can you make money with Asirvia?

It is very hard to make money from Asirvia even when it was still operational.

The few people that made money back then just received a little more than the minimum wage.

They even need to treat it as their full-time job. And there’s even no income disclosure from Asirvia.

How to make money with Asirvia

Asirvia is no longer operational for over 2 years now and it seems like there’s no point in talking about their compensation plan.

But still, there’s many MLMs that sell the same thing out there… So it’s still worth the time!

There are 2 ways you can make money from Asirvia:

Sell Asirvia Go
Recruit people and earn bonuses from downlines

If this is the case, then...

How much does it cost to join Asirvia?

You need to buy their product if you want to join Asirvia.

Pay $25 monthly for 1 unit of Asirvia Go
Pay $49 monthly for 3 units of Asirvia Go
Pay $99 monthly for 8 units of Asirvia Go

Aside from that, you also need to pay a one-time $30 Asirvia Go activation fee, regardless of the number of units you bought.

You also need to pay another $25 for the Virtual Training Center. If you’re from outside North America, you need to pay an additional $25 for the shipping and handling.

Asirvia compensation plan

MLMs usually make their compensation plans confusing and difficult to understand.

Asirvia is no different! So, I’ll do my best to keep things simple...

There are 4 ways Asirvia will pay you as one of their members:

Direct Sales Commission

Earn 25% commission from ever Asirvia Go sales you make. However, you can get this after 30 days of purchasing the product.

Direct Sales Residual

Earn 10% and 5% residual commissions from your first-level and second-level downlines, respectively.

Base Pay

Earn a daily base pay from $1 to $10,000, depending on your rank and sales volume.

Generational Check Match

Earn matching bonuses from 5% to 25% of the base pay rates of downline, depending on rank and sales volume.

Don’t worry if you’re confused with all that.

MLMs use weird acronyms and fancy terms to make it look more interesting and appear as if there are loads of ways you can make money.

In reality, there are just 2 things you can do:

Is Asirvia a scam?

Yes, Asirvia was a scam.

Although they may not be meant to be a full-out scam, they still became one because they had a hard time paying their affiliates as what the many complains say…

There were even lots of reviews saying that their device was defective and wasn’t effective in promoting its users' businesses!

Members who want to quit the company can’t even cancel their subscriptions. It was just a total chaos for the MLM...

Good thing Asirvia has already been shut down, so that means there’s one less MLM to worry about.

#1 Portable product

There’s only one thing nice I can say about Asirvia, and that’s their device.

Although there were numerous complaints saying that the Asirvia Go was defective, it still served its purpose well (at least at the start).

It’s portable and sends messages to Android devices through Bluetooth. It also is very small and compact that you can bring it anywhere you like, such as in events, gatherings, or trade shows.

The battery life is also said to last up to two years, and it’s water-resistant as well…

But why are there so many complaints about it?

Maybe all those cool features are just marketing gimmicks...

What I don't like about Asirvia

Asirvia is plagued with issues. Here are a few of those things that caught my attention...

#1 No longer operational

Asirvia stopped their operations in Dec. 2018 and shut down indefinitely. This was due to the overwhelming number of complaints they got from customers about their products and affiliate program.

Their website isn't even working anymore.

But surprisingly, they still didn't put down their LinkedIn account:

But take note that there’s also no solid evidence that they re-branded or started a new company...

#2 Negative Reviews

Asirvia has 39 complaints in their BBB profile, with the usual ones talking about poor customer support, defective devices, and unpaid affiliate earnings.

Here are some complaints I found…

That just doesn't look and sound right.

#3 Limited range

The Asirvia Go can only send promotional messages to Android devices, and not to Apple products.

Well, that means missing out the opportunity to send to more people!

What’s more is that devices must have its Bluetooth turned on to receive messages.

Only a very few people leave their Bluetooth turned on these days, right?

#4 Is Asirvia a pyramid scheme in disguise?

Not only is Asirvia a scam, but it’s also a pyramid scheme in disguise. That’s the reason why they’re no longer operational in the first place!

Just take a look at these business structure here...

Aside from that, their product also has a lot of technical issues and isn’t an effective marketing device because of its number of limitations.

You even have to pay $25 to $99 monthly to stay active while selling a specific number of Asirvia Go sales every single month...

Asirvia was plagued with many problems and issues about their product and affiliate program.

Hopefully, the company has learned its lesson and make sure to fix and improve their processes and products if ever they decide to open again…

But even if that’s the case, I still doubt that it’s going to be worth the try.

So, what do I think about Asirvia?

I still wouldn’t recommend MLMs because of their business structure which makes them a pyramid scheme in disguise.

There’s a better way for you to earn good money in the sides without worrying about any of those issues present in MLMs...

No LegalShield is not a pyramid scheme.

The sell legit services that people can sell and earn a commission from.

However, it's only possible to make a good amount of money by actually recruiting people into the MLM program.

This makes LegalShield very similar to a "pyramid scheme in disguise".

What is a pyramid scheme?

A company that promises members payment by recruiting more people into the company instead of selling a product or service.

Pyramid schemes are illegal in most countries because it is impossible for everyone to make money inside them, as you can see in the Wikipedia diagram below...

Most MLM companies do sell legit products or services.

However, many of them make it very hard to earn decent money or even cover their own expenses unless they recruit people.

LegalShield will cost around $600 a year to be an associate yet you will only earn around $25 per annual membership that you sell. The main way to make money is by recruiting people to join the MLM program very similarly to a pyramid scheme in disguise.

How does LegalShield Work?

LegalShield provides legal services for a range of issues everyday people and small businesses have with the law.

Instead of spending loads of money on advertising and marketing, LegalShield gets everyday people to "spread the word". In return these people (associates) can get paid commissions and bonuses for selling the products.

It's like a win-win!

LegalShield offers a wide range of pre-paid legal services for individuals and small businesses.

There are 4 plans that they provide (prices are per month and subject to change):

Personal plans: $24.95 (consultation, document preparation, auto, family issues, IRS)
Small business: $39 (debt collection, contract renewal, trial defense, landlord issues)
Commercial driver plan: $32.95
Identity theft: $12.95 (credit monitoring and restoration)

It sounds pretty good right?

Well, my wife and I have been subject to identify theft before. Someone used our names to pay for things on credit and never paid it off!

Did it cost us money to fix this?

Nope!

We just used a free credit checker to see the places where there were issues and contacted them to inform them.

Was it annoying? Yes!

Did we spend $12.95 a month for years? Nope!

We also had issues removing some tenants from our house that we wanted to sell. Did it cost $39 a month?

Nope... we Googled a specialist company and spent a one time $80 fee to help!

The main product for most people will be the personal plan.

For a "small monthly fee", LegalShield claims they can help you with:

Landlord / Tenant issues
Consumer Finance
Traffic problems
Estate Planning
Real Estate
Employment
Collection
Family Law
Civil Litigation
Criminal

I guess it offers people peace of mind knowing they can get legal support for an affordable price.

But the truth is that if you spend $24.95 a month for 10 years you will have spent $2,994.

Chances are you could afford a pretty good lawyer for that if you just put that money aside! Specialist lawyers are far better than generic advice (which LegalShield provides) and with the help from Google, they are super easy to find these days!

Maybe when LegalShield started it was a great business model. Today, technology beats it by a mile.

Can you make money with LegalShield?

Hardly anyone makes good money from LegalShield.

The few people that will make money from it will be pretty much a full time salesperson who are good at recruiting people into the MLM business.

Here's the open truth on LegalShield's website...

Only 1.6% of all members made any sales. And when you actually work out the numbers you can see that 0.384% of all members made over $1,000 in 2018.

Put another way, 299 members out of 300 made less than $1,000 for the year!

Yes, I know that not everyone will even try to sell LegalShield, but you can see that between 17-32% do become an associate from this data...

That means that around 1 out of 80 people that are trying to make money from LegalShield earn over $1,000 a year!

How to make money with LegalShield MLM

There are 2 ways that associates can make money from the LegalShield MLM:

Sell the legal service membership to receive a commission
Recruit more people in their "downline" to receive bonuses from the sales they make

Before we dig into the compensation plan a bit more you're probably wondering...

How much does it cost to join LegalShield MLM?

There are two options to join the LegalShield MLM program:

A one time fee of $99 then $19.95 a month
One time fee of $249 for your first 12 months then $19.95 a month

But the costs do not stop there...

LegalShield monthly cost

To "remain active" you will need to do one of two things:

Maintain a LegalShield membership yourself
Sell 3 memberships every 3 months

To be totally honest, if you are planning on promoting LegalShield then you should probably have a membership yourself.

Otherwise you can't test out the services and you'll be like one of those sales people who doesn't actually believe or use the products themselves!

So the total cost for your first year will be:

$99
$19.95 x 12
$24.95 x 12

Minimum total first year expenses = $637.8

And this is before you add on any additional training that LegalShield provides or any marketing materials you may require such as your own website.

For some reason most MLM companies like to make their compensation plan harder to understand than solving a Rubik's cube blindfolded.

Can you see what I mean from the diagram below...

They typically use weird acronyms such as PV, ED, QD and Do Re Mi Fa Sol La Ti (not really the last 7... that's the sound of music).

So I will do my best to keep this simple...

There are 7 ways you can get paid from LegalShield as an associate...

(The below examples are based on selling the $35.95 plan a month... aka legal services plus identity protection)

Personal sales advance ($34.57 commission straight away... that's only 8% commission for the yearly membership)
Team override ($34.57 on any downline sales)
Fast start qualification (double your bonuses if you earn 5 points in 30 days: A membership is worth 1 point and recruiting an associate is 2 points)
Performance club bonus (5 points every month to get $150 bonus after months 3 and 6)
Car bonus ($500 when you reach a certain "rank")
Residual income (keep your own membership active and receive monthly commission on anyone that continues their membership past 12 months)
Contests and promotions (reward trips if you sell and recruit during these promotions)

If you are still confused at what any of this means it's because that's exactly what MLM's want! They want it to seem like there are endless ways for you to be paid!

But all you really need to understand is WHAT you need to do to make money:

Sell memberships
Recruit people

What I like about LegalShield

There are some things that I really like about LegalShield compared to other MLM programs out there...

Key Terms:

#1 No physical products

So many other MLM programs such as Rodan and Fields, Isagenix and Ariix, sell physical products.

Their distributors will often need to buy a certain amount of product each month to "remain active" (like you need the membership at LegalShield).

This means their homes are full with these products such as protein shakes, makeup, supplements, clothes or skin care products.

It often times leaves people's homes looking like this...

At LegalShield you will never need to stockpile any products as it is just a service being sold!

#2 Positive LegalShield reviews

There are some legit positive legalShield reviews online such as this one below...

You can see on Consumer Affairs that there are a lot of 5 star reviews, so the service provided obviously works for some people...

It's so important to have real customers in a legit MLM rather than everyone being an associate and only using it to try to make money.

#3 Unique service that people want

This is probably the biggest selling point for LegalShield.

There are literally thousands of MLMs that exist now and new ones are starting all the time.

The vast majority are pretty much identical to others and you can easily pick up the same products on Amazon for a fraction of the price.

But many people will have no idea where to start with legal service! And having the convenience of someone putting something like this on their plate may be worth more to them than having to figure it out by themselves.

What I don't like about LegalShield

Saying this, there are some hidden truths that most people will only find out once they join the LegalShield MLM...

#1 Can you really make money with LegalShield?... Not really

So we've already found out that only 1 in 80 LegalShield associates made $1,000+ for the year in 2018 from the income disclosure.

Now, I'm not much of a fan of just taking the word of one random guy. I even suggest you be the same (don't even just take my word for it, always do your own research!)

So I did my own research in the SEC.gov document to see if the things he says are actually true...

You can see there were 502,982 LegalShield plans sold in 2010. But there were over 438,000 associates.

So that means that each associate is only selling just over 1 membership on average. Would a one time $25 commission be enough for you and your family to live off for a year?

You can also see that there were $114 million commissions in 2010, when you include bonuses and everything that associates earn from their "downline".

That sounds impressive, right?

Well, that's an average of $261 per member per year!

There were also nearly 50% of plans are cancelled before 1 year! So remember those "paid in advance commissions" you get?

Well, these commissions can be withdrawn!

And that "residual income" you get if they stay a member past 1 year? Just look at the rate that people drop off yourself (only 10% are still a member after 7 years!)...

#2 History of lawsuits

Wikipedia shows a wide range of lawsuits against the company (in 2001, 2004 & 2007).

A Mississippi Jury found the company and its founding CEO, Harland Stonecipher, guilty of deceptive advertising and misrepresenting income statements.

I mean, if you have watched any of those sales videos above you can see why!

#3 Complaints around customer service & products

There are different places online that you can see what real customers think about the service and products from any company.

One of the best places to check is the Better Business Bureau (BBB). Just look at what people say...

The common issues are that:

People feel like they aren't really getting the service they deserve
The customer service is terrible
They were misled into buying something that doesn't deliver

Now does that lawsuit above sound familiar?

This isn't me just cherry picking a poor review either.

You can see for yourself there are almost 200 complaints on the BBB alone...

#4 Limitations to get refund or use the service

Another very common issue according to customers and associates is how hard it is to get a refund or cancel the membership...

There are dozens of people saying this exact same thing.

So if you think you can cancel at any time like they claim you can, you may need to think again!

#5 Is LegalShield just a pyramid scheme in disguise?

There are many articles claiming LegalShield is just a pyramid scheme such as in Newswire.

To be honest, you have to take these articles with a pinch of salt.

LegalShield is NOT a pyramid scheme because it's possible for associates to make money by selling the membership.

But just ask yourself — do you really need the newsletter called Automatic Fortunes to invest? Or let alone hear out Ian King’s words? Knowing that he’s well known for being an “aggressive marketer?”

Subscribing and spending money for your Banyan Hill subscription and being bombarded with supposed “professional,” “expert,” and “accurate” advice from a company that merely sells books and reading materials doesn’t really sound good.

Factor in Banyan Hill’s parent company’s lawsuit history and it won’t be hard for you to consider it as a scam in disguise!

And it’s very clear that Fluorescent Sand uses that opportunity to look interesting in the people’s eyes.

They did a great job with that, though, because this makes the campaign thought-provoking!

Ian King is a professional marketer and financial trader with over two decades of experience.

In 2017, he joined the team at Banyan Hill Publishing where he has two newsletters Crypto Profit Trader and Automatic Fortunes.

He joined Banyan Hill Publishing in 2017 as one of their brightest marketers. It was also where he worked on two newsletters:

Automatic Fortunes is the newsletter that Fluorescent Sand promotes.

You’ll then see here that Fluorescent Sand is actually just a marketing propaganda to get people to subscribe to the Automatic Fortunes newsletter!

It’s really not that hard to realize, right?

The newsletter features the latest updates and developments on technology and investment stocks.

It also talks about the strategies and tips subscribers can follow to leverage on the “trillion-dollar” industry that according to King is going to roll out soon.

But its parent company, Agora Financial, has!

This means that it’s impossible to tell if subscribers really did make money from the investment scheme.

Banyan Hill and Agora Financial (the company owning Banyan) are masters in using salesy and clever language to promote their newsletter through deceptive marketing strategies.

In fact, I’ve found out that there are other sales pitches they did before that’s very similar with Fluorescent Sand!

And just like Automatic Profits, these campaigns offer a book for “free” even if it isn’t really free.

You know how this goes…

These aren’t downloadable because they’re literally a physical book! Though they may be “free,” you have to pay for the shipping and postage.

What’s worse is that once you sign up for it, you’re automatically subscribed for a monthly autoship that’s good for one year!

In my own opinion, I can say that this is downright marketing deception and is very similar to scams!

Fluorescent Sands is very similar to a scam in disguise because its main point is to just market and promote the Automatic Fortunes newsletter — nothing more!

In other words, Fluorescent Sands is merely a deceptive marketing strategy...

You even lose money when you subscribe without the assurance you’re going to earn or even get your subscription expense back!

This is very ironic because they aggressively promote Fluorescent Sand to be your key to riches…

And even if spending $47 to $129 per year for subscribing isn’t that big, it still isn’t ethical to over-promote 5G technology and trick people to join the bandwagon just to subscribe to Automatic Fortunes...

#3 No income disclosure

Most stock investment newsletters release an income disclosure of what their subscribers earn. Unfortunately, that isn’t the case with Automatic Fortunes because there’s nothing to be found regarding the investment gains of their subscribers.

Either they are hiding something or their subscribers isn’t just making any money from their supposed effective investment tips.

A big turn off, I should say!

#4 No real stock investment training

Yes, you get expert advice, tips, and strategies from Ian King, a successful financial analyst and stock broker. You also get these from the newsletter:

But those aren’t really helpful because you’re just like reading a financial magazine. This isn’t formal stock investment training, but it’s just for reading leisure!

You can’t expect to make millions just by reading a newsletter!

But if you do, then good for you because you’re one of the very few lucky ones.

What’s true, though, is that this isn’t a sustainable money-making endeavor as investment is just like gambling...

#5 Information overload- no structure

I've actually personally signed up to an Agora Financial newsletter before. However, all they really do is bombard you with emails and information with no structure.

There's no real advice or step by step actions to take it's just like providing someone with Google and saying, there you go... go make money from that!

If you are interested in investing in the stock markets, then low fees index funds have been proven to beat any type of individual investor strategy or mutual fund in the long run consistently.

If you want to try your luck in 5G, then go on and invest in it. Who knows what the future brings? You might even get good money from your investment return in the future!

But based on the looks of it, you don’t really need the newsletter for that. If you’re earning good money and is really interested in investing, then you can just learn it on your own or join a stock investment and tech workshop.

Merely getting information isn’t the best way to earn good money, let alone earning by the millions as Ian King tells.

Add in the lawsuits that Banyan Hill Publishing’s mother company has and you’ll see that it’s not worth the try.

Members who are making the most money are those who recruit a lot of people.

And check back on the diagram above, and you’ll see that it’s just impossible for members to make money in the long run because the number of potential members are going to run out sooner or later...

Note that between 72.5% and 99.9% of members lose money.

This is because MLMs have a sales quota that forces members to sell a certain number of products so that they can get commissions.

Failing to do this means that they’ve got no other choice but to just buy the products themselves just for them to stay active.

American Income Life works by selling insurance plans to companies and individual clients.

These insurance plans are called life plans because they insure a specific amount of money whenever the customer goes through specific life happenings such as hospitalization, injuries, accidents, or even death.

Aside from this, the company also has an affiliate program which gives people an opportunity to work from home by selling these life insurance plans in exchange for commissions and bonuses.

It sounds nice for both sides, but it’s actually just the company that is gaining a lot from this because they save millions of dollars in supposed marketing campaigns as they just let the members do all of the hard work in promoting and marketing.

It is important to know the products or offerings that American Income Life has for you to have a better understanding of the company.

In this case, American Income Life sells various life insurance plans that covers different situations and life scenarios.

Here are some of their best-selling life insurance plans:

Life insurance - An insurance plan that covers the life of the customer. This means that if something happens to them, such as death, their family can receive a certain amount of money. If nothing happens to them in a certain time frame, they get the money back, plus the bonus additional payment.
Accident and health insurance - An insurance plan that covers all the health-related expenses of a healthy person.
Accident protection - An insurance plan that covers the expenses if the person is caught in an accident. The person’s family can also get cash benefits if the person dies from an accident.
Hospital indemnity - An insurance plan that covers all the hospital bills of a person.

The money you’re going to make will also be small, and can even be compared to that of minimum wage. And you have to work for more than 8 hours a day just trying to convince people to join.

The company does not even have an income disclosure to prove that the members are indeed making money...

You have to do these 2 things to make money:

Sell life insurance plans
Recruit members to the company

But take note that you can only earn bonuses from your downline members’ sales and not from just recruiting them...

It might sound expensive, but this already includes all the comprehensive training you need to become an effective and successful sales agent.

Some might find this confusing, while some might see it’s simple.

Nonetheless, that’s the oversimplified version of their complicated compensation plan.

Hence, they then immediately call the company a scam.

As you can see, it’s accredited by the Better Business Bureau. It also has an A+ rating, which means it’s a good company.

This is a good sign that you can sell the insurance plans of the company...

#2 Established reputation

MLMs have an average lifespan of 5 years.

Well, American Income Life was founded back in 1951. That’s a full 69 years of continuous operations.

I’m sure no words needed to be said about that, because this proves the company is legit and will continue to operate for many more years to come.

#3 Wise investment for clients

Life insurance plans are a wise investment for customers because they cover all the bills and expenses if you get yourself in an accident, hospitalized, or some other life situation.

If none of these happen to you, you can still benefit from it because you get an additional cash benefit...

What I don't like about American Income Life

#1 Expensive subscription

Becoming a member is expensive because you have to shell out a massive $490.

That’s still just too much even if they say that this already has all the necessary marketing tools and seminars...

#2 Stiff competition

There are a lot of life insurance companies out there. They number in the thousands.

Are you sure that you can compete with all of these brands? I doubt so...

#3 No income disclosure

American Income Life has been operating for more than 69 years.

But still, they don’t have an income disclosure.

This is important because this is where other people will see if they can actually make money from the company or not.

American Income Life is not really a full-fledged pyramid scheme. This is how their system looks...

But it has some elements and signs that it is a pyramid scheme in disguise. This is because the only real way you can make a lot of money is by recruiting people.

The more people you recruit, the more money you make.

This means that it is not anymore that popular.

My opinion - American Income Life

American Income Life is a pioneering life insurance MLM company founded back in 1951.

They sell legit and useful life insurance plans, and also pays members correctly. But the subscription is just too expensive.

Add in the fact that there are a lot of life insurance companies out there and you’ll see that it’s going to be hard to sell their offerings.

And what can I say about their business opportunity?...

The only way to make money is by means of aggressive recruitment.

You need to know a lot of people and entice all of them to join American Income Life.

And you still do this even if you already know that they are going to have a hard time getting back their invested money in the subscription.

This isn’t a very attractive business for you.

Good thing there are many other business opportunities that are better out there and you can try for now...

What is Hedgefinity?

Hedgefinity is a crypto investment Multi-Level-Marketing company that has its own business funding platform.

It functions as a system which raises capital investments for entrepreneurs and investors. It also calls itself a social enterprise which leverages on crowdfunding techniques to gain money from fund grants and capital.

Not much is known about the company. I can’t even find any information or hint as to who the founder is or where it is based.

But so far, the only concrete evidence I have is that their site went online on July 20, 2018. So, most likely that’s the date where they started their operations.

I can't find any other introductory video, but this one only. And it's in Spanish, so jut bear with it.

Hedgefinity shows a lot of signs that it is a pyramid scheme.

First off, is that the only way members can make money is by means of recruitment. They need to sign up as many people as they can into the company for them to earn something.

Let’s proceed and learn what actually is a pyramid scheme...

What is a pyramid scheme?

A pyramid scheme usually comes in the form of a company which has members who are tasked to recruit.

This is the sole and only purpose and task of members instead of helping in the company’s operations or selling of actual products and services.

Pyramid schemes have already been labelled by many countries across the globe because members can’t make money if they were just to recruit.

See this Wikipedia diagram to know why this is the case...

Members who somehow make it and earn some bucks are very few and they are usually just those guys who recruit aggressively.

You can also check back at the diagram above and see that it’s just impossible for all of the members to treat this as a stable source of income because they are just going to have a hard time finding more members once they have recruited all.

However...

Success is rare with Hedgefinity

The fact is that you are going to find it very difficult to succeed with an MLM company, much more when you are with Hedgefinity.

Between 72.5% and 99.9% of MLM members even lose money due to the sales quota and unsustainable system these companies have.

Members also must sell the required number of products or amount of products to stay active and earn money.

They can’t get anything if they fail to do this. This is why many resort to just buying the products for themselves, thereby losing lots of money just to stay active.

Most even lose thousands of dollars before recruiting their first member.

How does Hedgefinity Work?

Hedgefinity is different from most MLMs because they don’t have any product or service.

Instead, they just operate as a platform where anyone can join, invest money, and recruit more members into the company for them to earn and get something.

They call this as their own and special kind of referral program where members can earn commissions by recruiting other people.

It’s a smart way for this company to market and advertise their brand...

Hedgefinity products

Hedgefinity does not sell any kind of service or product. Instead, they just offer one thing — affiliate membership.

Anyone can join and become an affiliate member. And what they just need to do is to just pay a subscription fee and recruit members to include in their downlines.

The more members they recruit, the more money they get. So, at the end of the day, what they are basically doing is just recruiting.

Members can just invest a specific amount of money for them to earn commissions alongside their recruitment bonuses.

Furthermore, Hedgefinity also says that investing in their company is a smart thing to do because their main leverage is cryptocurrencies.

They say that the money paid by members are directed towards cryptos, and knowing that cryptos can increase in value rapidly, there’s a good chance they can make a lot of money.

But is that really what happens? We think otherwise...

Also, be aware that there are a lot of other companies that offer the same kind of business opportunity.

A few of the most notable investment MLMs are:

United Success Network

And just like Hedgefinity, they also offer a shade business model that dwells on recruitment alone. They just differ as to where the money is used.

Take for example Fluorescent Sand which uses the latest technologies, and 7k Metals which says they invest their money on precious metals.

Hedgefinity, on the other hand, has their own agenda, and that’s cryptocurrencies.

Does this then mean...

Can you make money with Hedgefinity?

Yes, you can make money from Hedgefinity. But that’s if you focus on aggressive recruitment.

There are some who make money from the company, but the amount they earn is just comparable to minimum wage. Some even lower. That surely isn’t interesting…

Hedgefinity doesn’t even have an income disclosure to show that their affiliate members are earning enough money.

Now, that’s what I call a shady business model...

How to make money with Hedgefinity

Hedgefinity asks its members to do one thing for them to make money.

And that is by…

Recruiting members to join Hedgefinity and letting them recruit more members

So, yes… It’s very clear that recruitment is what this company is about.

How much does it cost to join Hedgefinity?

There is no subscription fee to become a Hedgefinity member.

However, if you’d like to become an official member, you need to pay an initial investment. Well, yes, it’s just another name for subscription!

The minimum initial investment is just a cheap $11...

Hedgefinity monthly cost

There are no monthly quotas for Hedgefinity members. This is a good thing, though, because most MLMs have outrageous and unreachable quotas.

And here’s the only cost you are most likely to spend on your first year…

Minimum costs for year 1 = $11

It sounds pretty nice and enticing because it’s very cheap and affordable. But note that you are still most likely going to spend a lot of money on subsequent investments you are most likely to make.

The company does a pretty good job in enticing members to spend more for them to earn more, even if this all boils down to how good you recruit...

Hedgefinity compensation plan

Hedgefinity has a different kind of compensation plan compared to other MLMs because they follow a 2 x 8 matrix cylinder.

This makes it simpler as to what most MLM companies have. What this basically means is that each member will have 2 members under them.

Each of these downline members should also have 2 members each below them, and so on… You can then picture this out as a pyramid.

Sounds familiar and fishy, eh?

Here’s a simpler explanation of that:

Invest $11 to enter the Challenger rank. You then have to recruit 2 members for you to earn $10 from each of the members. This then unlocks the second level.
The second level means you should invest $40 and let your downline members recruit 2 members each. You then earn $20 each from all downline members.
This goes on until the next level where you can earn $160 per cycle commission and to the highest and ultimate level where you can earn $42 million.

Is Hedgefinity a Pyramid Scheme: Compensation

Sounds amazing, but that’s just an over-exaggerated goal that is clearly unattainable because you have to have 128 downline members to do that.

It might sound achievable at first, but you’ll soon realize it isn’t once you’re in the company.

I already simplified that one, but I know it’s still confusing. Well, let’s just put it this way…

The only thing you need to do is to:

Recruit

…and nothing more. If you do that, and you do it in a very aggressive way, then you can make money.

#1 Affordable subscription

Hedgefinity offers a very cheap and affordable subscription.

It seems like it doesn’t even cost anything because it’s just a low $11.

This is very rare for an MLM because most have subscription fees of around $50 to even a massive $300, or sometimes more...

#2 No quota

Another nice thing about Hedgefinity is that it doesn’t have any quota.

Again, this is not common for MLMs because most have quotas where members can only stay active and make money if they sell a certain amount of products or recruit a minimum number of people in a set duration.

This means that the chances of you losing money is very minimal...

What I don't like about Hedgefinity

#1 No offered products or services

Hedgefinity doesn’t sell any kind of service or product.

Normal and legal businesses have these. But in Hedgefinity’s case, there’s none.

Here’s the only thing shown on their previous site…

This means that there is something fishy going on here because how would a company survive if it isn’t offering anything?

Well, in Hedgefinity’s case, they survive because their members pay for the investment they say are for cryptocurrencies, and by means of recruitment.

Even if members aren’t really paying for any tangible or useful stuff or service.

#2 Lacks vital information

Hedgefinity does not have an income disclosure or compensation plan.

In fact, here’s what their current website looks like now:

You can see that they don’t anymore have a site and that the domain is for sale.

This might mean that the company might have already shut down or is no longer operational.

Or if not, then they might not have the funds to pay for the web hosting costs...

#3 Volatility of cryptocurrencies

Hedgefinity says that they are all about investing in cryptocurrencies. If it turns out that this is really the case, then that still doesn’t sound good.

The prices of cryptos are very volatile because they can go high or low in a very short amount of time.

This might sound good, but it’s just very risky because your hard earned money can literally become valueless in jur a couple of days or worse, hours.

#4 Is Hedgefinity a pyramid scheme in disguise?

Hedgefinity is a pyramid scheme because the only way for members to make money is by recruiting more members.

Here is what their system looks like...

They don’t sell anything or even produce any kind of service or product.

The money they generate simply comes from the money paid by recruited members, and nothing more...

#5 Zero trend

Google Trends usually have diagrams for any keyword out there.

But when I searched for Hedgefinity, this is what it shows…

As you can see, there’s none. It’s because there’s not much people searching for it that’s why the system didn’t pick it up.

This is a clear sign that it’s hard to recruit members into this company because it is unknown or not just interesting.

So without further ado, here’s what I can say about them...

Recruitment is the only thing to do. And that you still do it even if you already know it’s a pyramid scheme.

The company would crumble and would be unable to pay you once there are not enough newly recruited members. So, it’s just a matter of time before you lose your money!

So someone has introduced Herbalife to you as this great "opportunity to work from home".

But you're probably still wondering... can you really make money selling Herbalife? And is Herbalife just another pyramid scheme or scam?

What is Herbalife?

Herbalife is a health and wellness Multi-Level-Marketing company that mainly sells weight loss & nutrition products. They also have some skincare products too.

It was founded in 1980 by the late Mark Hughes, who tragically died from alcohol poisoning and an overdose of an antidepressant at the age of 44.

In the year 2000, the company dropped by 43% in stock price just after this happened.

But it has continued to grow, especially in Latino America, since this with the help from celebrity endorsements (such as Cristiano Ronaldo) and big advertising deals (such as sponsoring the football team LA Galaxy)

So it looks like a pretty exciting opportunity, right?

But you're smart enough to realise this is just a Herbalife sales video.

So you're probably still wondering...

Is Herbalife a pyramid scheme?

No Herbalife is not a pyramid scheme because distributors can earn money from selling products.

However, Herbalife is a "pyramid scheme in disguise".

The reason is that you can only earn good money from selling Herbalife if you recruit more people into your "downline" and make money from their purchases or sales.

Confused?

Let's explain this a bit more clearly...

What is a pyramid scheme?

A company that promises payment to its members for recruiting more people into the company rather than selling any product or service.

Pyramid schemes are totally illegal in most countries because it is impossible for everyone to earn money from this "business model".

Just check out the Wikipedia diagram below to see why...

Now, most MLM companies, like Herbalife, do offer legit products that their distributors can sell and earn a commission on.

However, it is impossible to earn any good money from these 25% commissions by selling face to face to friends and family. The only way distributors can "move up the ranks" and realistically earn more than $1,000 a month is by recruiting.

That makes Herbalife very much like a "pyramid scheme in disguise".

In fact, success is hard to find in any MLM company.

Did you know that between 73% and 99% of all MLM representatives lose money?

Herbalife has released income disclaimers in the past to show how much their representatives have earnt. They seem to have removed this from the public eye now, but I did some digging to find an old copy.

For now all you need to be aware of is that 95.5% of distributors earnt less than $200 income for the year.

Herbalife produces a range of health and wellness & personal care products.

They save a lot of money on advertising or marketing by getting everyday people to help them sell these products.

In return these "distributors" can earn commission for any sales they make and "work from home" to "be their own boss".

In theory it sounds like a win-win. So let's dig into the company a bit more...

Herbalife products

If you really want to join an MLM, then it's crucial to understand their product line.

Herbalife offers hundreds of products under one of the following categories:

Healthy weight
Balanced nutrition
Energy and fitness
Specialised nutrition
Skin and hair care

There are far too many products to go into detail about them all here (that would be a whole article by itself!) But you can find all of these products inside the Herbalife shop.

It is important to be aware that there are hundreds of MLMs that exist that sell a very similar range of products to Herbalife, such as:

So the only way to see what makes one MLM company different to another is to learn more about their main products...

Herbalife Formula 1, 2, 3 - flagship products

Herbalife has a big focus on their "F1, F2 and F3" product line...

The whole point of the F1 is to help people lose weight easily.

The stand out benefits of the Herbalife F1 products are:

It's easy and convenient
Soy-based products may be good for your heart

However, there are also some downsides to be aware of:

Shakes are highly processed
Not true meal replacements (not enough calories)
Herbal supplements can cause liver damage (see study 1, 2 and 3 that prove this)
Not suitable for everyone (certain allergies or intolerances)

Can you really make money selling Herbalife?

Very good sales people and those that can recruit a big team under them can make money selling Herbalife.

However, it will have to be done knowing that the majority of people you recruit will likely lose money from Herbalife. If you're OK with that then that's your call.

Like most MLM companies, there are 2 ways you can earn money as a Herbalife representative:

Sell Herbalife products to earn a commission
Recruit more people and earn bonuses from their sales

I really want to hammer this home as Herbalife has been burnt from this before...

You cannot earn money just by recruiting people.

You only earn bonuses from the purchases that your downline personally make or sell on.

This is how Herbalife avoids being an outright pyramid scheme and lets them stay in business...

How much does it cost to join Herbalife?

The price to join Herbalife is either $94.10 or $124.10 depending on which package you get...

You can also become a "preferred member" for $34.95 to get the discount of the products. Later on you can then choose to convert to a distributor for an additional $59.95 if you want.

So you're probably asking yourself what are the...

Herbalife monthly costs

There are no monthly sales quotas at Herbalife. This is a great sign for any MLM as so many of them have these "quotas" that sales reps need to hit every month to stay active.

This can be one of the main reasons that reps lose money as they often buy products themselves just to remain active.

However, if you are serious about promoting Herbalife products then you are probably going to need to use them yourself. People can see right through those "sales reps" who just preach their products but you never actually see them using the stuff themselves.

And you can even see what Healthline suggests about the price...

If you are going to take it seriously and try to make money selling Herbalife then you will need to become a consumer yourself.

So you're looking at spending at least $80 a month on the shakes.

This obviously isn't necessary, but if you don't like or use the products yourself, then you probably shouldn't consider trying to sell them!

Herbalife compensation plan

There has been a lot of change to this since Herbalife were sued for $200 million by the FTC in 2016.

There isn't yet an official compensation plan that Herbalife has released for the public.

But you can find YouTube videos from current distributors and work it out. Luckily for you, I've done this for you...

There are 4 main ways Herbalife reps can get paid:

Retail commission (25-50%)
Build a team (earn wholesale profit bonuses from your downline sales)
Royalties (5% bonuses from your downline sales)
Bonuses (around a $400 bonus for recruiting & promoting 10 people to supervisor level)

For some reason, most MLM companies love to make these compensation plans with complicated diagrams like the above. These are usually harder to understand than solving a Rubik's cube blindfolded!

To be honest, the only thing you need to know is what you have to do to make money. And remember that is:

Sell products
Recruit people

And do you notice that 3 out of 4 ways you get paid requires you to recruit people?

Is Herbalife a scam?

No Herbalife is technically not a scam.

They sell legit products and pay their representatives like they say they will.

Some people argue that any MLM that is a "pyramid scheme in disguise" is a scam. But technically, if you could sell hundreds of Herbalife products every month then you could make decent money without recruiting. In reality, that's pretty tough for most people!

What I like about Herbalife

There are a few things that I genuinely like about the Herbalife MLM.

Some of these things make it better than other MLM companies, but at the end of the day, it's still an MLM!

#1 Proven history

Did you know that 50% of MLMs disappear within 5 years of starting.

Herbalife's long history proves it's not a scam.

This helps because if you do dedicate a lot of time to it and start earning a monthly income (by recruiting lots of people) then at least you know the company isn't likely to disappear tomorrow with all of your income.

#2 Positive product reviews

There are so many positive reviews of Herbalife's products just like the one below...

You can tell that real people have used Herbalife products and genuinely have lost weight and like the products.

This is so important for any MLM company.

If there are real people using the products (not just the distributors) then at least you know you could make money from sales rather than just recruiting!

#3 It's well known due to celebrity sponsors

If you ask someone if they have heard of Isagenix they will likely look at you with a blank expression on their face.

If you ask them about Herbalife most people will at least recognise the name.

That's because Herbalife has put a lot of effort into getting themselves out there through sponsorships and celebrity endorsements...

Yeah even big Cris is an "endorser"!

The company name does come with some downsides though as many people have heard of some of the negative sides to it. Just check out the popular documentary "Betting on Zero" if you haven't heard of it before. You can see the 2 minute trailer below...

#4 No monthly sales quota

This is the BEST thing about Herbalife for me.

The really good news is that if you become a representative you don't need to sell a certain amount to "remain active" and earn commission from any sales you do make.

This means you don't need to keep paying for these expensive products every month just to stay part of the company.

They even use a clever marketing badge & slogan to help you talk to people about what you do...

This is a great sign that Herbalife is not a pyramid scheme and they do focus on selling the products rather than just recruiting.

And just so you know they've put a LOT of effort into trying to make themselves seem like they are not a pyramid scheme!

What I don't like about Herbalife

So there are a few things that many distributors find out the hard way once they've joined.

I've done some serious digging to uncover these hidden truths so you are aware of them before diving in...

#1 Expensive products

Herbalife's products are stupidly expensive!

This is always the first thing I check out in any MLM company as it can be a sign that Herbalife is a "pyramid scheme in disguise".

Herbalife shake = $2.34 per serving
My protein shake = $0.64 per serving

Herbalife is 300% more expensive that other very highly rated protein shakes.

Now, I can almost hear you thinking... well surely Herbalife's shakes are better.

Check this out...

There is more protein, less sugar and less additives in the MyProtein shake.

Sure you may get some other vitamins in the Herbalife shakes. But less processed shakes are far better for you in the long run. However, Herbalife's shakes are highly processed.

The expensive products means that many of the distributors will encourage people to join Herbalife with the potential to make some "pocket money" from it. This is far more attractive to people than offering them overpriced protein shakes that they don't want.

But that is also a sign that Herbalife promotes recruitment aka a pyramid scheme in disguise!

#2 Herbalife lawsuits & being sued for $200 million by the FTC

You can see what happened in the FTC lawsuit below...

It's becoming more and more common to hear about MLM companies getting sued for being a "pyramid scheme in disguise" or falsely marketing themselves.

However, Herbalife had to "restructure their business from top to bottom" because of their misleading claims. That suggests to me that Herbalife has always operated like a pyramid scheme in disguise...

#3 Is Herbalife still a pyramid scheme in disguise?

So it seems like Herbalife has made an effort to make it seem like it is not a pyramid scheme. However, there are still far to many signs that Herbalife is just a pyramid scheme in disguise still.

You can watch 5 minutes or so of the pretty funny and eye opening video below (it starts at 12:53) to see what I mean...

There are also numerous negative reviews online trying to warn people, such as this one...

But when you take into account that their compensation plan pays you in 3 out of 4 ways for recruiting people and continuously mentions "building a team" you can work out what their true intentions are!

#4 Can you make money selling Herbalife?... 0.4% make over $15k a year

Can you and your family live off $15k a year?

Well, check out the Herbalife income disclosure below...

They try to make it sound like loads of people join as a Herbalife distributor because they just want a discount.

Even though this may be true for some people, the vast majority will like the idea of making money from the company... otherwise they'd just buy the better more affordable shakes elsewhere!

This means once you do the maths you can see that only 1 in 250 members earns over $15k a year.

#5 Downward trend

The final nail in the coffin for me is found on Google Trends.

You can see that Herbalife has been searched for less and less since 2013.

When you see some other customers reviews like this, you may understand why...

You probably know that the MLM members that join before the companies "early momentum phase" can benefit the most from the increasing interest in the company and sell products or recruit people because of this.

When you compare Herbalife to newer MLMs like Farmasi you can see that Herbalife is simply going the wrong way!

What is Truvision Health?

Truvision Health is an Multi-Level-Marketing company that sells health and wellness products.

It was established last 2014 by Travis Martin, Derek Bailey, and Shawn Gibson.

Not much is known about the company’s history and background of the founders, but I can conclude that they are all entrepreneurs and have knowledge of health and science.

The company also specializes in weight loss products, with the goal of helping people live a healthier lifestyle and become more productive with their lives.

I also discovered that the company recently changed its name to Truvy as its website suggests.

As to the reason for that, we do not know. But maybe they just want to make it more marketable and hip.

No. Truvision Health is not a pyramid scheme.

This is because their members can still earn money by selling their nutritional products without recruiting people into the company.

What is a pyramid scheme?

A company that is paying members whenever they recruit someone into the company. This is the business model instead of selling actual products and services.

Countries around the globe have already banned companies like this because it is just impossible for all of the members to earn from a company that is only paying every time someone recruits new people into the company.

Members who are making the most money are those who exhaustively ask people to join this MLM business opportunity.

But if you were to see the diagram above, you’ll learn that it’s impossible for all members to make money from a system such as this as you are going to eventually be running out of people to recruit.

If they can’t, then they’ve got no choice but to just buy the products using their own money just for the sake of staying active.

How does Truvision Health Work?

Truvision Health sells a huge variety of nutritional supplements such as weight loss capsules and sleep improvement formulas that are said to be made from all-natural ingredients.

The company also has an affiliate program that invites people to become members so that they can sell their products and earn commissions and bonuses.

In theory, it seems like a win-win situation. But the thing is… Truvision Health is saving huge money from marketing costs because it’s their members who do all the marketing and advertising.

Before we learn if this is really the case, let’s dwell into...

If you really like to try your luck with this company, then it’s best that you use the products yourself so that you know what they’re really about.

But if you can’t, then simply go through this review as I will explain what they offer and the products they sell.

Here are some of their best-selling products:

truCONTROL ($61.25) - A weight loss drink formula that contains green coffee bean extract along with a series of other minerals and vitamins that supports metabolism and helps control cravings.
Balance ($34.80) - A unique formula that provides your body with energy with the help of its Vitamin B6 and micronutrients. It helps you deal with your daily tasks while improving your mental and physical health.
rePLACE Vanilla Bean ($43.75) - A protein powder shake that gives you the needed energy to keep up with your daily activities. This also helps you control your cravings so that you will have a fit body.

Sounds interesting, right? Well, before you conclude that it is the case, first know that it’s not really that special.

In fact, there are hundreds, if not thousands of other companies and MLMs that sell the same stuff, but just rebranded into different packaging and names.

Some of the most popular ones are:

All of them say that they are special and that they stand out in the market. When the reality is that they are just selling the same stuff, but just in different names, packaging, flavors, and whatnot.

So if this is what’s happening here, then what makes Truvision Health special?

Can you make money with Truvision Health?

Yes, but hard.

There are, however, some members who somehow make money, but they just earn an income that is comparable, or even lower than minimum wage.

These guys are also extroverted people who treat this supposedly part-time work-from-home opportunity as a full-time job.

What’s more, is that they don’t have an income disclosure which is a sign that their members might not really be earning that well.

How to make money with Truvision Health

In order for you to make money from this health and wellness MLM, you need to be really good at these 2 things:

Selling health and wellness products
Recruiting members into this health and wellness company

And note that you only earn money from your downline’s sales and not from simply recruiting members into the MLM.

This is how they avoid being called a pyramid scheme.

How much does it cost to join Truvision Health?

You need to pay a subscription fee of $35 to become called as an official member.

However, you also need to buy a business starter pack which ranges in price from $125 to $159.

Becoming a member means that you must maintain 100 PV monthly for you to remain qualified and earn commissions.

To give you a better look at the costs you should expect, here’s a list of the expenses you’re going to incur:

MLMs have complex compensation plans. The same thing with Truvision Health. But don’t worry because I will do my best to simplify things.

Truvision Health offers members 3 main ways to make some bucks:

Retail Commissions - Earn a 20% commission on every product you sell.
Fast Start Bonus - Earn a 20% commission on the sales that your 1st generation members make. Earn a 10% commission on the sales that your 2nd generation members make. Earn a 5% commission on the sales that your 3rd and 4th generation members make.
Matching Bonus - Earn a 10% commission on the total sales volume of your entire downline.

Is Truvision Health a Scam: Compensation

Confusing? That is very much normal especially if you’re dealing with MLMs.

These companies just love to use weird names and complicated acronyms so that some will say that there’s a lot of ways for them to earn, even if there are just 2 main things to do.

And these are:

Sell the health and wellness products of the company
Recruit people and turn them into members

One of the best things about Truvision Health is that they’ve got positive reviews from the consumers that have used their products.

This is a good sign that you can have an easier time selling their products because of their good reputation.

#2 Detailed compensation plan

Another thing I like about Truvision Health is its detailed and well-organized compensation plan.

It’s a no-nonsense document that shows how members are going to be paid and how much they can expect.

It’s not the easiest to understand out there, but it’s sure better than other MLMs’ compensation plans.

What I don't like about Truvision Health

#1 Expensive products

Truvision Health sells overpriced nutritional supplements even if they are all-natural and organic. Just take a look at some of the other brands out there:

As you can see, they are much cheaper and also have great ratings. And they are made by reputable brands as well!

#2 Saturated Market

The health and wellness niche is already very saturated. In fact, the majority of MLMs are in this niche and are selling nutritional supplements.

This means that you’ll have a hard time selling the products because of the competition you have to face...

#3 Hidden monthly expenses

You are required to sell 100 PV monthly for you to stay active. This also means selling at least $100 worth of products every month.

Can’t reach that amount? Then you’ve got no other choice but to just buy the products yourself!

This is the reason why the biggest customer base of MLM companies are their members because they just keep buying their stuff hoping that they’re going to have their big break sooner or later...

#4 Is Truvision Health a pyramid scheme in disguise?

If you must spend $100 monthly for the sake of staying active, then the only way to avoid that hassle is by recruiting members.

Alliance in Motion has a lot of positive reviews about their products.

Here are some of them:

This is a good thing because you know that they are really selling good and effective products. You can use this as a leverage to sell the products to customers as well.

#2 Established reputation

Most MLM companies don’t go past the 5-year mark of operations.

Because they either shut down due to bankruptcy, or they have been closed by the government.

But none of those ever happened with Alliance in Motion. They were founded back in 2005, and have been operating since then. That is a full 15 years.

This is the best thing that I like about Alliance in Motion.

Most MLMs have a sales quota which members need to reach for them to claim their commissions.

Alliance in Motion doesn’t have a sales quota, though, so members won’t have to worry about spending all their money on subscriptions and monthly quotas alone...

What I don't like about Alliance in Motion

#1 Expensive products

Alliance in Motion is selling expensive and overpriced products.

Just take a look at some of the other similar products in the market:

You can clearly see that they are cheaper and more affordable compared to whatever it is that Alliance in Motion is selling.

This means that people and customers are more likely to buy them over whatever you are selling.

#2 Saturated market

Most MLMs are health and wellness companies. And that includes Alliance in Motion.

This means that you have a lot of competitors in the market and that you are less likely to sell the products because customers are going to have a lot of options.

#3 Is Alliance in Motion a pyramid scheme in disguise?

Members can make money by earning commissions from the products they sell.

But this is unsustainable knowing that you are going to have a hard time selling the products with the many options out there.

But you need to recruit as many people as you can for you to save the hassle and pressure of selling the products and waiting just for the commissions you get from them.

#5 Downward trend

Google Trends showed me this…

As you can see, there are less people who are interested with Alliance in Motion.

This means that you are going to find it difficult to sell Alliance in Motion’s products because people aren’t any more interested in it.

Unless, of course, if the trend goes the other way around.

Alliance in Motion is selling legitimate, legal, healthy, and effective products. But the thing is, is that they are just way too overpriced and expensive.

And because of that, this is what I think about their business opportunity...

It isn’t hard to see that the only way and method you can make money from this company is by means of recruitment.

This means you just have to recruit all the time for you to gain a passive income.

However, you do this even if you already know that the majority of the members you are going to recruit are going to lose money...

This is a far cry from the part-time business opportunity that will give you the financial freedom that you have been hoping for.

It is revolving around the idea of becoming your own boss, getting rich, and then letting your recruits discover the disappointing reality that they just are going to lose money.

Good thing there are a lot of other businesses out there that you can choose from...

CorVive is a newcomer in the Multi-Level-Marketing health and wellness niche as it just started its operations back in 2018.

Jeremy Fouts, a businessman and entrepreneur, is the founder and owner of the company based in Plano, Texas.

I did some research on his background and learned that he has a degree in business economics and science.

The firm promotes healthy living to everyone, which they say, can be made easier with the help of their nutritional supplements that they say are clean, safe, and very effective.

Nope. CorVive isn’t a pyramid scheme as their members are able to earn an income by selling the health and wellness products that they are manufacturing.

They also don’t need to recruit people for them to earn money.

But even if that is the case, it should still be worth asking… is Rain International a pyramid scheme in disguise?

What is a pyramid scheme?

A pyramid scheme is a company that is promising payment to members who manage to recruit other people into the company.

Members do this instead of selling actual and legitimate products.

This is why many governments around the globe have already labelled these kinds of businesses as illegal because their members just can’t earn a stable income by simply recruiting people.

Also, the members who manage to make some good money from the company are simply those who recruit aggressively and get people to join their so-called business opportunity.

But if you were to look closely on the diagram I gave above, you can clearly see that members just can’t earn regular income from this as they are just going to be running out of potential members.

What many don’t know is that joining MLMs doesn’t guarantee any success. In fact, it is very hard to attain success in an MLM such as CorVive.

A report even claims that around 72.5% and 99.9% of MLM members aren’t making any money.

This is always happening because of the sales quota that they have where they force members to sell a certain number of products every month for them to be paid.

If they can’t do that, then they have no choice but to just buy their own products, just for the sake of staying as an active member.

This then results in members losing huge amounts of cash from their own savings before they can get their first ever recruit.

How does CorVive Work?

CorVive is a company that is selling health and wellness products. They are also offering people to become sales agents, which they also call as affiliate members.

Doing so, then allows them to sell their products and earn commissions and bonuses from it.

It sounds very nice in theory. But when it’s applied? Well, not really.

It’s because CorVive’s biggest customer base are its members because they just keep buying their products on a regular basis, hoping to break even with the costs someday soon.

Knowing the products sold by CorVive is necessary especially if you’d like to try being one of their members. This way, you know what you are getting yourself into, and what you can expect.

Below are some of the best-selling products sold by CorVive:

COR POWER Grass-Fed Whey Protein ($35) - A nutritional supplement shake mix containing whey protein. This improves health and boosts active performance.
NRG + Focus Energy Drink Mix ($29.99) - A shake mix that provides an energy boost while also improving the mental clarity and focus.
Cor Immune Protect ($17.7) - A nutritional supplement that improves the immune system and makes it less likely for you to get sick. This comes in the form of capsules.

What’s funny to think is that they all claim that they are special and that they have an exclusive product.

But really, that’s very far from the reality because they’re just selling rebranded stuff packaged in different designs and having different names.

Now that you know that this is what happens with MLMs, then what makes CorVive special, according to what they say?

Can you make money with CorVive?

You can make money with CorVive, but don’t expect it to be a replacement to your job.

In fact, it’s hard to treat this as a regular source of income.

There might be a few people who earn from this MLM, but they just overwork themselves and treat this as their full-time job.

That’s very far from the part-time business that’ll earn you big time, which is what you wanted in the first place…

Furthermore, CorVive also doesn’t have an income disclosure, so there’s no way of saying that their members actually are earning...

How to make money with CorVive

There are 2 ways you can make some money from CorVive.

And these are by:

Selling their health supplements and nutritional products
Recruiting members to the company and turning them into sales agents

But take note that you can only make money by earning bonuses from the sales of your downline members, and not from merely recruiting them...

How much does it cost to join CorVive?

You must pay $14.95 for the subscription pack.

This isn’t a one-time fee, either, as you have to pay it annually. You also need to buy a star pack that varies in price from $175 to $575, with the more expensive ones having more products.

Being a CorVive member isn’t easy because you need to maintain at least 100 PV monthly if you want to stay qualified for the commissions and bonuses.

Aside from that, you have to prepare for these costs:

Minimum costs for year 1 = $1,390 to $1,790

Also take note that that’s not all of it! Other miscellaneous expenses such as training, marketing, and other stuff aren’t yet included there.

So yes, that’s an awful lot of money you have to shell out there just to be a member...

CorVive compensation plan

It’s always the same old story for MLM such as CorVive, because you always get a confusing compensation plan.

Good thing, though, you found this article, because I’ll be simplifying things up for you to easily understand their compensation plan.

CorVive provides 4 main ways that their members can make money:

Retail Sales - Earn 20% commission from the direct sales of your first generation recruited member. Meanwhile, you can easily get 4% commission from your third and fourth generation members’ sales.
Timed Bonuses - Earn a $250 bonus once you recruit 2 new members. Get an additional $250 bonus once you recruit 4 new members.
Team Commissions - Earn an 8% commission from your team’s total sales.
Luxury Car Bonus - Earn $750 monthly, which you must spend on your luxury car plan. If you don’t want one, then you can just convert this to $350 cash.

Don’t worry if you’re confused with all of these.

MLM use weird terms and complicated names just so that their members will think that there are multitudes of ways they can earn money from this MLM.

When the reality is too far from that because they just have to do these 2 things:

Sell products
Recruit people

They also have real and effective products, and they pay their members properly and in line with what they have in their deals.

But the catch is… a lot of members are disappointed to learn that instead of making money, they are losing money! This is due to the sales quotas that these members need to achieve every month.

The first and only thing I like about CorVive is what people say about it…

As you can see, there are a number of positive reviews out there saying that CorVive’s products are effective and indeed healthy.

What I don't like about CorVive

#1 Expensive products

CorVive, just like any other MLM, sells overpriced products. Just take a look at some of its competitors…

You can see that they are way cheaper compared to what CorVive is selling even if they are also as effective as what their ratings say.

This isn’t a good sign that you can sell it to a number of people because they’ll just be surprised with its price...

#2 No income disclosure

CorVive doesn’t have an income disclosure.

This is a bit rare with MLMs because they always have one to show that people can actually make money from them.

But it’s different in this case because there’s no way of proving that their members are actually making or earning money.

#3 Saturated market

Health and wellness products are just way too overrated. They’re just very mainstream because almost all MLMs sell these kinds of products.

This is another sign that you’ll have a hard time selling them because of the number of competition out there.

#4 Hidden monthly expenses

You need to sell at least 100 PV every month if you want to be eligible to earn bonuses and commissions. PV is an acronym for personal volume.

This also means selling at least $100 worth of products monthly. If you can’t, then you just have to buy the products for yourself.

Which also means that you’re just serving as one of their regular customers who keep buying their stuff even if you don’t really want and need one.

#5 Is CorVive a pyramid scheme in disguise?

Knowing that you need to spend $100 regularly just to be called as a member and to receive bonuses and commissions shows that there’s something wrong with CorVive.

This also means that the only way to avoid that monthly expense is by recruiting as many people as you can so that it’s them who worry about the quotas and not you.

Because after all, you’re the one who earns from their sales...

However, they sell overpriced products and have a business opportunity, which I can say is...

The fact that you must aggressively recruit people shows that this is a pyramid scheme in disguise.

And you are still doing this even if you already know that around 93% of the members you’re going to recruit are just going to end up losing their money.

This isn’t a good choice for you.

Instead, it’s better that you consider other business opportunities out there...

Carelumina is a Multi-Level-Marketing company that is selling health and wellness products.

Their products are mostly cosmetic, fitness, and dietary products that are geared towards the overall improvement of one’s health.

Not much is known about the company’s background, history, and even owners.

However, they are based in Jacksonville, Florida. This is very rare for an MLM because most MLM company share their history, beginnings, and show their founder. In this case, there’s none.

Nonetheless, the company aims to help people live a healthier and happier life with the help of their scientifically and medically-effective products.

Carelumina is not a pyramid scheme. This is because they have members who are still earning by simply selling their products without the need to regularly recruit people.

But even this is the case, it is still important to note if… Is Carelumina a pyramid scheme in disguise?

A pyramid scheme is an organization or company that pays members whenever they manage to recruit new people and members into the system.

This is prioritized and is the focus of the business instead of selling real and actual products and services.

Because of this, many governments around the globe have already labelled these as scams and blacklisted them because not all members can earn from a company or organization which only is paying for the recruitment done.

There are a few people who make money, but it’s just similar or even lower than minimum wage.

They are also over extroverted guys who treat the job as a full-time career, which is a far cry from the part-time job you’re looking for.

And they don’t have an income disclosure to prove their members make money.

The deal with MLMs is that they always have confusing compensation plans.

But don’t worry because in this review, I’m going to simplify Carelumina’s compensation plan so you won’t have a hard time gauging the profitability of this MLM.

Carelumina offers members 3 main ways to make some bucks as a member:

Retail Commission - Earn a 40% commission every time you sell a product
Recruitment Commission - Earn a 40% bonus every time you recruit a member who purchases the starter pack. You can also earn a 10% bonus whenever your recruited member recruits a new member.
Residual Commission - Earn 3% to 6% commission from your downline team’s total sales. This depends on your rank and level.

I know that still sounds confusing.

But that is normal because MLM companies use fancy terms and complicated names so it will seem like there are a lot of ways members can earn money from the company even if they just need to do these 2 things

The first thing I like about Carelumina is that it has a lot of positive reviews on the internet.

This shows that their products are effective and this can help you sell and market the products.

Another thing that I like about Carelumina is that they have a nice and impressive marketing campaign.

They have an interactive and beautiful website, they name their products in an interesting way, and they have a lot of information on what it is they actually sell and what their benefits are for the customers.

What I don't like about Carelumina

#1 Expensive products

Carelumina sells overpriced products.

Here is a comparison with the other brands:

As you can see, Carelumina’s products are very expensive compared to the ones being sold by other brands.

There is a huge chance that customers will just snub your product because there are other cheaper options out there and also have high and positive reviews and ratings.

#2 Saturated market

The health and wellness market is already very saturated.

In fact, the majority of MLMs are health and wellness companies.

There are just too many options and choices for customers out there, which makes it a bit hard for you to sell products which are already sold by other companies, but just in different brands.

#3 Hidden monthly expenses

Members must sell 25 PV monthly to stay active.

Being active means being eligible to earn commissions and bonuses. This also means selling at least $25 worth of products monthly.

If members are unable to do this, then members have no choice but to just buy the products themselves.

A fact that MLM companies don’t want their members to know is that their biggest customer and client base are their members because they just keep buying their products in a regular basis, hoping to break even with the costs in the soonest possible time.

If you must spend $25 a month, then the only way to avoid that cost is by recruiting people. And not just recruit, but recruit in a very aggressive way.

My opinion - Carelumina

Carelumina sells healthy, legitimate, and effective products. But the thing is, they are just way too overpriced.

Add in their business opportunity, and this is what I can say...

The fact that the only way that members can make money is by recruitment shows that there is already something wrong with this company.

Especially if you already know that the majority of the members that you are going to recruit sooner or later are just going to lose money and not make lots of money, which just beats the point of them joining the company.

There are a lot of other companies and business opportunities out there that offer better ways to earn money...

How I make passive income online

MLMs are not scams or illegal. However, I'm not a fan of them because of the restrictions to the expensive products you have to promote.

Once I learnt about affiliate marketing, I realised it's a far superior business model because:

You can promote anything you want and truly own the business
You never need to sell to friends and family
It's completely free to start
