What is Revital U?
Revital U is a Multi-Level-Marketing that is selling coffee products and other related items that are specifically formulated to help users lose weight and have healthier bodies.
The company was launched in 2016 by Andrew McWilliams. However, there are numerous questions to this as there are reports saying that he’s not really the founder.
Nonetheless, the main goal of the company is to promote healthy living and a fit body to users with the help of their slimming products.
Who is the owner?
There’s not much information about the background and history of the company.
However, there are some reports which show that a guy named Pat Johnston is the owner. It’s also listed in his LinkedIn profile that he is Revital U’s president.
However, I did further research on this and found out that Andrew McWilliams is the CEO of the company, as is stated in a number of Revital U’s social media accounts.
Check out this 2-minute video that shows what the company is about...
But why are many people asking if...
Is Revital U a pyramid scheme?
No. Revital U isn’t a pyramid scheme because their members earn money by selling their products.
They also don’t need to recruit just to earn money. Although they can do that, this isn’t the main and sole method of making money from this company…
But still, a better question to this is… Is Revital U a pyramid scheme in disguise?
What is a pyramid scheme?
A company which pays members whenever they recruit people. This is the sole and main method of earning money instead of selling products and services.
A lot of governments around the globe have already banned companies like this because all of the members can’t earn money, especially that they are only paying those who can recruit.
See this diagram about pyramid schemes from Wikipedia to learn more...
There might be some members who make money, but they are doing nothing but aimlessly recruiting people to join and take part of the business opportunity they are advertising.
But we all know that this isn’t the case especially if you check out the diagram.
It’s just impossible for everyone to earn from an alleged business such as this as they are just going to run out of members to recruit.
This 5-minute video shows how you can spot these pyramid schemes in disguise...
Let's then know why...
Success is rare with Revital U
Yes, you’ve read that right. It’s hard to succeed from an MLM company like Revital U.
And take note that around 72.5% and 99.9% of MLM members aren’t making money.
In fact, they’re losing money… The sales quota of MLMs is to blame for this as members can only receive money if they stay active. And the only way to stay active is by selling a certain number of company products every month.
If they are unable to do this, then they are faced with no choice but to just buy the products for their own personal consumption.
This then means that they lose loads of cash from their own pockets before they manage to get their first recruit...
How does Revital U Work?
Revital U is an MLM company that is selling coffee slimming products.
Aside from this, which they consider as their main business model, they also have an affiliate program which anyone can join.
Joining then makes them a member, which they can use to buy products at wholesale prices and sell them at higher retail prices.
It sounds nice, right? But it’s not as simple as that because Revital U is saving millions of dollars in marketing campaigns because it’s not them who does all the advertising, but it’s their members.
I know, it sounds like you’ve just been outsmarted by this company...
Revital U products
If you are really into knowing what this company is about, then it’s best you understand their products. This way, you’ll know what they are selling, as well as the kind of business opportunity you’re going to get if ever you become one of their members.
Here are some of Revital U’s best sellers:
- Smart Coffee Tub ($49) - A tub of coffee that boosts your energy, curbs your appetite, and improves your focus on whatever it is you’re doing.
- Smart Coffee Sticks Box ($54.99) - This has the same components as the previous product, but it’s in stick form. This boosts your energy, curbs your appetite, and also helps you focus on your daily activities.
- Smart Caps ($49.99) - A dietary supplement that improves brain function, making you smarter and more focused. This also gives you better sleep.
Sounds nice, right? Well, what you are feeling right now is normal. All MLMs make their brands look special even if they are just offering the same stuff like other companies.
Here are some of the most notable coffee MLM companies that sell the same or similar stuff:
So if this is what’s happening here, then what makes Revital U stand out?
Revital U flagship product
Smart Mocha Bundle ($59.99) - A bundle which includes their top coffee and cocoa products. This gives you the focus and energy you need to keep on with your daily activities.
Here is a 1-minute video about their product:
Now that you know that, then...
Can you make money with Revital U?
Yes, you can. But it’s very hard to make money from them.
There are a few who do earn, but they work very hard, even harder than full-time sales managers.
And they do this for salary that’s less than minimum wage.
What’s even worse is that there’s no income disclosure to prove that they actually do have a good business model and that their members are earning!
How to make money with Revital U
Simple, you basically just have to do these 2 things:
- Sell products
- Recruit members into Revital U
How much does it cost to join Revital U?
It’s affordable to join Revital U because you just have to pay a cheap $50.
That ain’t that bad, knowing that you can buy their products at cheaper prices and sell them to earn commissions.
Revital U monthly cost
However, that also means you need to maintain 100 PV every month so that you can be an active member.
This means you can earn bonuses and all the incentives.
The costs you’re going to spend on your first year are:
- $50
- $100 x 12
Minimum costs for year 1 = $1,239
And not to mention that you still have to include your other expenses such as the costs for marketing, training, and other miscellaneous stuff...
Revital U compensation plan
Revital U, just like any other MLM company, still has the same old confusing compensation plan. But there’s no need to fret about that because I am going to simplify things up for you…
Revital U offers their members 3 main methods and ways to make some money.
These are:
- Retail Commissions - Earn 5% to 25% commissions depending on the number of members you recruit. The lowest tier is 2 to 9 members, while the highest tier is recruiting 25 and more members.
- New Customer Bonus - Earn $50 to $500 bonus depending on the number of recruited members. Recruit 5 and you get a $50 bonus. But if you recruit 25 and more, then you get $500.
- Rank Achievement Bonus - Earn $250 to $50,000 commission depending on the rank you get promoted to.
It sure sounds confusing, right? But then again, that’s how MLMs work.
They always use fancy terms and complicated names so that their members will think that there are a lot of opportunities for them to earn big time.
When the reality is that there are just 2 simple things they need to do, and these are:
- Sell the coffee products of Revital U
- Recruit members into Revital U
Here is a 5-minute video that gives a better explanation on their compensation plan.
Or you can check out their full compensation plan here.
Is Revital U a scam?
No. Revital U isn’t a scam. The company is selling real products. They are also paying their members exactly as they say.
But what’s really happening here is that their members lose money instead of earning money because the company requires them to keep up with their monthly quota.
This is why there are a lot of Revital U members who claim that the company is a scam.
But is it really? Continue reading to know the truth behind this...
Just to be fully transparent with you, I am not a distributor myself and I do not endorse it in any way.
I have researched the website, testimonials and information on the Internet to get to the bottom of what this program genuinely does. This is because I have been burnt from programs just like this in the past and I want to prevent others from making the same mistakes. What I like about Revital U
Key Terms:
- Pyramid Scheme – recruits members via a promise for payment from recruiting others into the company rather than providing a product
- Affiliate Marketing- Connecting a customer to a product they are looking for and receiving a commission for doing so
- Red Flag - A warning sign
#1 Affordable subscription
Revital U is one of the few MLM companies that offer an affordable subscription fee.
$50 isn’t really that much considering that you can save a great deal of money if you become a member as you can buy their products at wholesale prices and sell them at higher retail prices.
#2 Positive product reviews
I did some research and found a number of comments from customers saying that Revital U’s products are indeed effective and healthy.
It’s very clear that their coffee products indeed do have some health benefits. And they really are effective in boosting energy and improving the mental health of users.
This is a good sign that you can sell the products with ease later...
What I don't like about Revital U
#1 Expensive products
But then again, just like any other MLM, Revital U does sell overpriced products. Check out some of the other brands out there…
As you can see, there are loads of other coffee and nutritional supplements out there that are sold at cheaper prices. And they’re still effective and have loads of positive product reviews.
Spending $50 to $60 for slimming coffee is just way too much.
#2 Lacks information
Revital U doesn’t have any income disclosure statement.
This means that they don’t want other people to know that their members aren’t earning good money. Or maybe, they just don’t care about not having one.
Whichever the case is, this isn’t a good thing because they’re compromising the transparency of the company...
#3 Hidden monthly expenses
For you to stay active, you need to sell 100 PV monthly or sell $100 worth of products every month.
Achieving this means that you become eligible to earn bonuses and commissions.
If you can’t do that, then you have no choice but to buy the products yourself.
This means spending on something just for the sake of earning. That doesn’t sound right, right? You buy something for you to earn.
It’s like the company’s playing games with you!
Did you know that the biggest customer base of MLMs are their members because they just keep buying their products hoping they can make good money from the recruitments later on?
#4 Is Revital U a pyramid scheme in disguise?
The fact that you need to spend $100 monthly just to stay active means that you need to do your best to recruit people so that they’re the ones who take care of that responsibility.
And you still do that to the best of your capabilities even if you already know that they are just going to lose money later.
That isn’t ethical and in no way does that sound right!
#5 Downward trend
I make it a habit to check Google Trends whenever I do an MLM review.
In this case, you can see that Revital U isn’t doing any good with their popularity because there are fewer people who are interested in their product.
This is a sign that you’re going to have a difficult time selling slimming coffee products because people just don’t like them...
My opinion - Revital U
Revital U is a legit company that sells legit products in the form of slimming coffee that also improves one’s health.
But what can I say if I was to comment on their business opportunity?...
The only way to make money from Revital U is by recruiting a lot of members and making them sell overpriced products.
Also, you do this regularly even if you already know that those members you have recruited are just going to lose money in the long run.
No way does that sound right to me, or even to you.
It’s all about giving them the idea of financial freedom even if you already know that this isn’t the case.
There are still lots of other business opportunities out there...
How I make passive income online
MLMs are not scams or illegal. However, I'm not a fan of them because of the restrictions to the expensive products you have to promote.
Once I learnt about affiliate marketing, I realised it's a far superior business model because:
- You can promote anything you want and truly own the business
- You never need to sell to friends and family
- It's completely free to start
In 2018 I had no idea what affiliate marketing was.
But I went from a full time PE teacher to making a passive income online within one year...
If you want to discover how I did it then check out this special video I created which explains exactly how. You can also get your free 7-day bootcamp to get started.
