What is OnPassive?

OnPassive, which is also known as GoFounders, is a Multi-Level-Marketing  company that has an internet marketing platform which it claims is powered by artificial intelligence.

This can then boost the profitability of businesses because you don’t have to manually work and make decisions.

The company is also still in its pre-launch stage. But it’s already been this for some time already, more specifically still back since its founding in 2018. Ash Mufareh is the founder of OnPassive.

Not much is known about him, but based on my research, I found out that he is also the founder and CEO of other marketing companies called GFI Fusion and AshMax, all of which are revolving around passive income models as their business system.

Here is a 1-minute company overview video...

After watching that, you might then ask...

Is OnPassive a pyramid scheme?

OnPassive shows a lot of signs that it is a pyramid scheme.

First off, is that the only way for members to make money is by recruiting other people. Well, that’s just one sign. But we’ll be discussing the other clear signs that it is in the later part of this review...

What is a pyramid scheme?

A pyramid scheme is a company that is paying members whenever they can recruit a person into the system.

This is already banned in a lot of countries because it’s impossible for all of the members to treat this as a job and make money from a company that is doing nothing but just recruit.

Here is a diagram from Wikipedia that shows how things go for a company like this...

Members who make money are those who aggressively recruit anyone and say that they have a business opportunity in store.

But check back on the diagram above and you’ll see that there is really none. What’s more, is that they are just going to be running out of potential members to recruit sooner or later...

Check out this 5-minute video on how you can spot a pyramid scheme in disguise...

Let us then clarify why...

Success is rare with OnPassive

Success is hard to achieve if you are sticking with an MLM such as OnPassive.

Little do people know that between 72.5% and 99.9% of all MLM agents are losing money.

This happens due to the sales quota MLMs have. This also means that the only way that they can stay active is if they can sell a certain amount or number of products in a month.

Failing to do this means they can buy the products for themselves. This is why they lose money before they can recruit their first member...

Ready to make passive income online?

Hey, I'm Mike.

I created a passive income online within a year. I had no marketing skills or online experience when I started.

How does OnPassive Work?

The company works by advertising their own internet marketing platform that is powered by AI and is said to automate the whole business process.

They also have an affiliate program that is paying people whenever they recruit someone into the system. It’s easy to say that it’s a winning situation for both sides.

But actually, it’s just the company that gains the advantage because they don’t have to spend millions of dollars in marketing because their members are already doing it for them.

OnPassive products

OnPassive does not have any product or service.

Well, they say that their product is the AI platform that automates business processes. But they have no evidence to back this up.

Here's what they say about it...

They don’t even show the exact look and specific features of the AI platform they are very confident in promoting.

There is even no price indicated, which means that there is something fishy going on here… Perhaps, they really don’t offer anything and just use all this marketing stuff to recruit people and get money from the recruitments.

Take note, though, that there are many other MLMs out there that offer the same stuff:

Here is another marketing infographic they released...

Feel free to check out this 2-minute video about what the company does:

Most likely, you've been asking yourself...

Can you make money with OnPassive?

Yes, you can. But it is going to be very difficult for you. There might be some who make money, but they are just very rare.

And they are very good in aggressively convincing people about the wonderful business opportunity this company brings. Even if it’s in no way near good.

Also, they don’t have an income disclosure to show that their members actually do earn money.

How to make money with OnPassive

Most MLMs have 2 ways of earning money for their members.

But OnPassive only has one:

  • Recruit members

With this, it’s very clear that there’s really something odd going on from this company because recruitment is the only means of making money.

How much does it cost to join OnPassive?

Members must pay $97 to join the company. This is considered as the subscription fee.

There are no details saying as to what this really is for and where this is used. You also have to spend $25 to $500 monthly.

More to that later...

OnPassive monthly cost

You must maintain 25 PV monthly or recruit enough members for you to earn.

And here are the costs you are going to get in your 1st year…

  • $97
  • $25 to $500 x 12

Minimum costs for year 1 = $397 to $6,097

Note that this does not yet include the other costs because you’re going to spend more on training, marketing, and other miscellaneous costs.

OnPassive compensation plan

OnPassive has a 3x10 matrix business structure. This means that members can earn commissions directly or indirectly from their recruits. It also means that you are on top of a matrix that consists of 3 branches or positions beneath you.

These 3 positions form the matrix’s first level. Split 1 position into 3 more branches and you get the second level. This then expands outwards the more recruits you get.

Members can gain commissions every time the matrix is filled fully. This happens when the recruit pays their chosen matrix bundle which costs from $25 to $500.

Here are the respective commissions:

  • $25 Matrix ($25) - Earn $1 for every filled position on level 10
  • $125 Matrix ($125) - Earn $2 for every filled position on level 10
  • $250 Matrix ($250) - Earn $8 for every filled position on level 10
  • $500 Matrix ($500) - Earn $10 for every filled position on level 10

Confusing, I know. But that’s a way for MLMs to entice people to join the company because they are going to think that there are a lot of ways for them to make money.

Well, that isn’t true because the only thing to do when you’re with OnPassive is to recruit. And nothing more...

Dig deeper into their compensation plan by watching this 15-minute video...

Let us then learn...

Is OnPassive a scam?

There are a lot of signs that OnPassive is a scam. The only way members make money is by recruitment.

Although they pay the members correctly. I’m not very sure if this will continue in the long run especially if there are not anymore enough new members in the company…

The next part of this MLM review is going to dig deeper into the pros and cons of OnPassive so you’ll know if it is right for you or not...

Just to be fully transparent with you, I am not a distributor myself and I do not endorse it in any way.

I have researched the website, testimonials and information on the Internet to get to the bottom of what this program genuinely does. This is because I have been burnt from programs just like this in the past and I want to prevent others from making the same mistakes. What I like about OnPassive

Key Terms:

  • Pyramid Scheme – recruits members via a promise for payment from recruiting others into the company rather than providing a product
  • Affiliate Marketing- Connecting a customer to a product they are looking for and receiving a commission for doing so
  • Red Flag - A warning sign

#1 Unique offering

OnPassive is unlike most MLMs because they have a unique offering in the form of an AI-powered marketing platform which automates various business processes.

No question that this is unique and interesting.

But the question is… Do they really have it?

#2 Gaining momentum

Google Trends showed me this:

This diagram shows that there are more people who are searching for OnPassive in the internet.

This means that people are becoming more interested with them, which is nice because you can recruit people...

What I don't like about OnPassive

#1 No product or service

OnPassive says that they have an AI-powered automated platform for businesses.

But there is no actual evidence they have this. No features were even stated or even the exact look of the platform.

What members are actually just doing is recruit people to earn money. And that’s all...

#2 Lacks vital information

OnPassive does not have an official document of their compensation plan and income disclosure.

This is not good especially that these two documents are needed to prove the legitimacy of the company and to see whether members are actually making money...

#3 Hidden monthly expenses

You should spend $25 monthly to stay as an active member.

This is for the matrix maintenance fee that you should stick with.

Although, you can make money from this every time you recruit a member, you still have to pay it even if you don’t have any recruits.

And note that the $25 is the minimum payment as this can go as high as $500.

#4 Is OnPassive a pyramid scheme in disguise?

Yes, it is. In fact, you can even call it a pyramid scheme.

Here is how their system works...

Members can only make money if they recruit people. That’s the only way…

And it’s only a matter of time before the authorities shut down the company for good.

Ready to make passive income online?

I've created a growing passive income online with no previous marketing skills or online experience...

I've made a special video for you to explain exactly how I did this.

My opinion - OnPassive

OnPassive is still considered as a legal company and its operations are tolerated by the government even if they are all about recruitment.

They say that they have a revolutionary AI-powered technology in store that can help businesses. But there’s no sign that they really have one.

What’s more is that they are still in their pre-launch stage even if they have already been around since 2018.

That’s a full 2-years of pre-launching!

Well, that’s kind of weird, right?

And what can I say about the business opportunity they are showing?...

The only way you can make money is by means of recruitment, and nothing more!

And not just ordinary recruiting because you need to do aggressive recruitment and showing people of the wonderful business opportunity this company has.

Well, you already know that it isn’t, and that they are just going to lose money in the long run.

This isn’t an ethical business model to me because you are selling to other members the dream of financial prosperity and financial freedom even if you already know that they can’t reach this.

There are a lot of other legit and profitable legal business opportunities out there you can try and see...

How I make passive income online

MLMs are not scams or illegal. However, I'm not a fan of them because of the restrictions to the expensive products you have to promote.

Once I learnt about affiliate marketing, I realised it's a far superior business model because:

  • You can promote anything you want and truly own the business
  • You never need to sell to friends and family
  • It's completely free to start

In 2018 I had no idea what affiliate marketing was.

But I went from a full time PE teacher to making a passive income online within one year...
